After an upgrade Firefox now throws my Mac into Work Offline mode repeatedly. What action needs to be taken so Firefox permanently disables Work Offline mode?

Immediately after an upgrade Firefox beginning throwing my Mac into Work Offline mode. Apparently, this is done anytime my connection blips out. I have tried a work-around, but to no avail. The computer is thrown into Work Offline when I daily turn on the computer, as well as in-between website windows.

We've seen more post about being in Offline mode on a Mac. I haven't seen any explanation or solution to this problem.

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

You did turned in Settings > General > Usage > Battery Percentage: ON?

Installing an iOS update does not add a physical button.
As for the "No SIM" message, try removing and reinserting the SIM or replacing the SIM.

When I refresh a page, a popup comes asking my confirmation because firefox will need repeat an action, so is there any way I can disable this?

Every time I refresh a page, a popup:

IOS 8 Some album art lost after iOS upgrade 8 now running 8.0.2 still all music from iTunes

I use firefox 3.6.1 on a mac os 10.5.8. What is the difference between this and firefox 6?

As I mentioned, I am running 3.6.1 and am when I go to the firefox website I get the message that I am using an old version and am asked to update to the latest which appears to be 6.0. Is this an update to 3.6.1? When researching on the web, I see that 6 is an update to version 5. So, is the update for me or is it a different version altogether?

Yes, 6.0 is an update for 3.6.1. The 3.6.x versions were followed by 4.0 in March 2011, then 5.0 in June which was an update for 4.0, and 6.0 an update for 5.0 in August.
Mozilla moved Firefox to a fast release system this past spring, quicker releases with fewer changes per release. After the upgrade I am unable to long into my wifi.

I just upgraded my ipad and I added the security code to log in. but I was only given one opportunity to log into my home wifi. I messed up the login and now I am not able to log into it at all.

If I open a New Window, the usual comcast.net screen appears and shows that I AM signed into SmartZone. That's fine but I do not want to have to go through this every time I open Mozilla Firefox. If it's Windows 7 compatible you can use Apple's Bootcamp and create a partition on the drive (if there is room) and install Windows 7 there, then install the tutoring program while option booted into Windows. This is expensive and cumbersome for a simple program.

Another option would be to use virtual machine software like VMFusion (Apple sells), Parallels Desktop or the free (but a tiny bit harder to set up) VirtualBox from Oracle.
Virtual machine programs run multiple operating systems under the parent OS, this case OS X, in a seperate window(s) or uses the full screen.
Both solutions will require a FULL Windows 7 install disk, running about $300 for both 32/64 bit in the same box. Your machine will be tied up while the child is using it.
Another option is to simply buy a another Windows 7 PC, or use another OS X compatible tutoring program.
You can check over at CrossWeavers if the tutoring program can be run on OS X with a emulator you buy from them (less than Windows or a new box), not all Windows programs can, but you might be lucky and it runs fine with no issues.
