After buying album not all songs downloaded

I bought the CD - Pete & J - Dressed For Conversation and it will not download song # 6 - Never Never, why???
I have quit I-tunes then restarted several times and it still will not download song, I can listen to it from the Itunes Store and it plays the sample as well as I have gone to the Purchased in Itunes store and it plays the complete 1:30 minut song.
Help me get the song back into Itunes.

I assume that they are not just waiting to download (have you tried closing and re-opening iTunes to see if they start downloading ?)
You could try contacting Apple via the Incomplete Download option under the Downloading iTunes Store Purchases tab on this page http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/

I have solved the problem myself!
The songs were all downloaded but did not show up. The reason was that if there are a few songs by the same artist and the details of album are only entered for some of the songs the others do not appear under that artists name. If you look under 'Songs' all songs are there. Strange but true!!

Paid for an album but not all songs download!

I've bought an album, and it won't let me download about 12 songs, saying they can only be downloaded as an album. I paid for the album but it won't let me have the songs I paid for.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Sara,
Delete temporary internet files content as suggested in the following FAQ.
Then sign in to Ovi Music, select Account > Download history and try downloading album again.
If you still don't get that whole album please contact your local Care (check the Contact us -link up in this page for the details) as they are able to further assist. Take note of the details also mentioned in that FAQ if you need to contact Care.

Not all songs from an artist are available in the artist tab as some songs are from compilation albums. is their any fix for this?

In the Artist tab, I am unable to see all the songs I have for that artist under their name. It looks like the artist tab is organised by album artist so therefore any artist I have on a compilation album can only be found under various artists. Is there any way around this, cause its the only thing thats ******* me off about the new ITunes.

I used to have this problem.
First, you need to go back on iTunes
you need to go to each of the songs that are having this problem
Click the album so all the songs drop down
Right click the songs that have this problem
Click ' Get info '
Click the tab that says " info '
The box that says ' album artist ' should probably be empty (correct me if I'm wrong)
Click it and type the artist of the entire album, NOT the songs guest artist

These should be separate for each artist
If you write the same album artists for each song by that artist, all the songs should be on 1 album

It would be nice if you told others the steps you've tried and/or how you used to have your setup.
Anyway have you tried tapping MORE this will then bring you to
the selection-list of Audiobooks, Genres, Compilations & Composers.
Selecting Genres gives you a list of all your music split into genres which was set within the Music downloaded via iTunes or uploaded from CD or which you may have set yourself.
Then you just select the Genre you want:
If certent songs are not correctly gategorised you may need to go into iTunes and reselect via Get-info
>Info>Genre and change it there. That way you should end up with all songs of Jazz or other in 1 place.

I understand that you are having issues printing, after some documents you are getting blank pages. I would be happy to help you.
I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
What application are you printing from?
It may be a setting in the application.
Does this happen from all applications?
Download and run the Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it. http://www.hp.com/go/tools>Using HP Diagnostic Tools for HP Printers in Windows.
How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet/Wireless)
What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (did it print or scan, any error messages)

Home sharing iMac and MacBook Pro: not all songs are playable

I set up Home Sharing between my iMac and MacBook Pro so that I could stream the music that's on the iMac to the MacBook Pro. On the MBP there are no songs, all of them are in Apple Lossless format on my iMac. I first tried to use "‘share my library on my local network" but because I wanted the play count to go up as well I chose for "Home Sharing". Setting up was simple. After all preferences were adjusted, I opened iTunes on the MBP and it immediately found the shared iMac library. There's now only one problem: not all songs are playable. Some don't even start. How is this possible and what do I need to do to resolve this?
FYI: the iMac is connected via ethernet to my cable modem which sends a wireless Wi-Fi signal to the MBP. Signal quality is excellent.
Also, is it possible that playcount is only available with Home Sharing and not with "share my library on my local network"?

It very well could be the antivirus app, most are intrusive and debilitate rather than enhance performance and should be removed using the developers instructions. You haven't really told us anything useful such as any settting you may have changed. However if you began working backwards resetting any changes and uninstalling the apps added since the performance issue started then you probably will find your issue.

Are the songs authorised to the same account?
Often people change their e-mail address over time, and also decide to set up new iTunes account names using that e-mail. You can (and should) continue to use an old e-mail address as your account name. Then you don't run into the issue of having different songs authorised to different accounts.
To check the authorised account for the song, click "Get info" on the song name in iTunes. It will show the account name in the Summary panel.
If you have set up multiple accounts, log into each one, and burn the songs to CD as audio tracks (i.e. like a normal CD, not a data CD). You can then re-import the files into iTunes without the authorisation embedded into the song.

iTunes only allows you to transfer songs from an iPod if they were purchased in the iTunes Store.
As they were transferred from a CD, you have to use an application like Senuti > http://www.fadingred.com/senuti/ It will transfer the music from an iPod to iTunes

Not all messages downloading to Apple mail

I've been having a problem the past couple of days with not all messages downloading to Mail. No rhyme or reason to it and it's just a few, but its a scary situation. I use yahoo and have it on my iphone as well which receives them fine. Any ideas as to why this might be?

In some cases, you might need to rebuild a mailbox to update the list of messages if messages appear to be missing.

Not all songs/albums & album artwork is syncing, why?

I just updated to 2.2 today and now not all of my album artwork is syncing to my ipod and the counts for # of songs, # of albums, etc. don't match what itunes says. WHat is going wrong?

I have a problem that is syncing related: when I downloaded the "Survivor Greatest Hits" CD my iPod sync'd all the songs into the Bob Seeger Greatest Hits album. However on my iTunes they are two distinct albums. Any ideas? How do I correct this? Thanks

Not all songs in album upgraded to iTunes Plus

I have many tracks that weren't upgraded after selecting "Upgrade to iTunes Plus" (actually, hundreds of them). I understand that not all tracks are currently available. Oddly, 3 tracks from the Aerosmith album "Big Ones" were not upgraded, yet all of the other tracks were. I have many other albums that show iTunes Plus eligibility in the iTunes Store, but were not upgraded. There does not seem to be any way to check for additional upgrades (the option disappeared from the iTunes main screen after upgrading). It sounds like there are many of us out there with the same type of issue. What is the deal?

Apparently sometimes, for various reasons (replacement of a track in the Store with another copy, slight changes in the release identification, etc.) the link between the track and your Purchase History can break, which will result in the track not appearing as eligible for iTunes Plus upgrade even though it exists as Plus in the Store.
Contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department using the form at the bottom of the Purchase Issues FAQ web page (there is no category specifically for this issue, so I'd suggest just picking one under the Purchases - problem area) and explain the problem to them. It may take a couple of email exchanges to get past the "form" email responses, but eventually they should work out a solution for you. You may need to provide the track name, artist and order number so they can confirm the original purchase.
