After data migration CC Desktop is blank

I've just bought a new iMac and migrated my data from my old macbook.  When I run Creative Cloud Desktop it shows a blank box.  The gear icon only gives me the options Help, Open as Window or Quit.  I've contacted support three times and they've had me run a cleanup tool, delete various files and directories in both /library/Application Support/Adobe and ~/library/Application Support/Adobe.  Each time I was disconnected before the issue was resolved, twice while using Online Chat and once by phone.  I'm starting to get a complex.  Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this?

  • Manage Dispute Case after data migration

    Dear all,
    Iu2019m facing the following problem.
Iu2019ve all the Dispute case in a Financial Supply Chain System (APJ).
Customer Line Items are, instead, in the Financial System (AP3)
After a Data Migration, all my line item will be migrated in to a new system (BD3) but without the Dispute Case.
There is a a way to link massively items with Dispute Case or users must proceed one by one ?
    Thanks in advance
    Alberto

sounds like changing the ALE from system 1 to the other system.
However I doubt it will be that easy.
I believe that could should contact SAP SLO to work out the best route for data migration.

  • Problems query data after data migration to Hana

Hi We currently have 2 BW environments: Release: 701 SP-Level: 0014 Support Package: SAPKW70114 DB: No Hana Release: 740 SP-Level: 0005 Support Package: SAPKW74005 DB: Hana It was necessary to migrate data cubes BW 701 -> BW 740, because in ECC only history of the last 18 months is maintained. After this migration, when I make a query in Query Designer and I use between in "Filters and Restrictions" no returned values, but if I include the value and not use the between the values are displayed. For example: I created a query with: one key figure, Comp_Code, Material and Fiscper. On filters and restrictions I informed that should return only the materials between 0001 and 0003. When running the query does not return values, but if I change the filter to only return materials 0001, 0002 and 0003, the query returns data. Note .: This problem occurs only with the migrated data from the BW 701, loads of ECC deltas are functioning normally. Could you help me solve this issue? Best Regards

Important point: I found that if you run the query in RSRT "Execute + Debug" button and do not use the option "Do not use SAP HANA / BWA Index (0)" the query runs without problems.
    Additional Information:
    - BW on Hana environment 740 is a new installation.
    - To load the historical data for the BW on Hana was created an RFC with the BW 701, classic BW as source system to new BW HANA.
    - BW 701 was generated Export Data Sources ( From cube to cube, from DSO to DSO) and we used of data sources to migrate historical data.
    - Then BW on Hana is a new installation, but only the historical data were extracted from the BW 701 (no Hana)
    - Export Data source generated on DSO data is ok, but the Data source of export from a cube, data is not ok. After data load this historical data, when I make a query in Query Designer and I use between in "Filters and Restrictions" no returned values, but if I include the value and not use the between the values are displayed, but the problem occurs only in the query on the Cube.
    - Are there any recommended when historical data is extracted on the Cube by Export Data Source?

It is an Oracle command line tool that can be found $ORACLE_HOME/bin
I think that you don;t have coruption in your files, if you would have corruption in your datafiles Oracle would detect it when starting. But to be 100 % percent sure, please run dbv
It is hard to say how much time is need for this utility becaue it depends on speed of your disk, size of your datafiles. Please try running it on small datafile, and then you will get an answer for you question

  • How to open mail on old PPC 10.5.8 after data migration to MBP?

Hi All,  I have had a Mac 10.5.8 PPC (Leopard) for years, and recently got a shiny new MBP.  After an Apple consultant migrated the data for me from the old to the new, I can no longer open mail on the 10.5.8  I can send email, and receive it, but I cannot open it.  I still want to be able to use my old machine. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks!  (Everything on MBP is fine)

Keep all your e-mail on an IMAP account.  That way both machines can check into it.  MInd you, once you copy it to the local hard drive of the one machine, the other can't read it simultaneously.

  • Many problems after data migration

I recently installed an SSD on my Early 2011 MBP. I put my old drive in an enclosure and after installing Mavericks 10.9.4 on the new drive, I used Migration Assistant to copy over all my Users/Applications etc. Many problems ensued. One of the users migrated without any (major) problems. The other user had the following issues:
    1) Every time I log in, several programs automatically open (Word, Powerpoint, Messages, Preview, Firefox). Even if I quit them all, log out and/or reset, then log back in, they all open back up again. This didn't happen before. None of these programs are in Users & Groups --> Login Items.
    2) iCould, Facetime and Messages all ask my for me AppleID password, every time I log in. Facetime even asks for the password twice (I put it in correctly. If I put it in incorrectly it lets me know). It does this every time I log in.
    3) Facetime and iMessage won't connect to the network. However, if I make a new user and sign in to Messages it works, so I know the network is fine.
    4) Every time I start Firefox, it opens to the "recovery" page. I can delete the profile information, and it gets rid of this problem, but then I have no history/saved passwords etc. and that defeats the purpose of having my information migrated over.
I've googled the above issues and tried all the solutions I could find but nothing works. I'm fairly computer literate but this is causing me to pull my hair out! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I resolved the problems above by using Linc Davis' post on Nov 23, 2013 11:44 AM on this thread: Could not sign in to iMessage.
    Details copied again below
Back up all data. Don't continue unless you're sure you can restore from a backup, even if you're unable to log in.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
    Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.
Enter the following command in the Terminal window in the same way as before (triple-click, copy, and paste):
    { sudo chflags -R nouchg,nouappnd ~ $TMPDIR.. ; sudo chown -R $UID:staff ~ $_ ; sudo chmod -R u+rwX ~ $_ ; chmod -R -N ~ $_ ; } 2> /dev/null
This time you'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The command will take a noticeable amount of time to run. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign (“$”) to appear, then quit Terminal.

  • Transaction AS03 after data migration

I have done the migration data of assets with 31.12.2008 like Transfer
Data. But in transaction AS03 I can't see the data that make reference

    Hi,
When you do an upload on the begin of the new year the date is 31-12-2008 in your upload settings but the assets are active from 01-01-2009. (the same is with 31-01-2009 then active from 01-02-2009)

  • Why is there no data on my new MacBook Pro after using Migration Assistant?

Last night I launched Migration Assistent between my MacBook to my MacBook Pro.  It said it would take 12 hours so I left it over night.  When it finished this morning it said that some files were not able to be transferred.  But there is absolutely nothing on my new MacBook Pro.  Why is that?
My TimeMachine backup disk has a cable that won't work with the new MacBook Pro so what other choice do I have to transfer data?

  • How can we upload questionnaire to CRM 2007 during data migration activity?

    Hi all,
I have an requirement where i have to upload questionnaires from an existing CRM system to SAP-CRM 2007 during data migration activity.
i just go through what are questionnaires, how we can create them and how we can assign them to transactions.
how can i upload during data migration activity ?
    Thanks & Regards
    Raman Khurana

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that the 'Upload.aspx' page was missing or corrupted from many document libraries after migration to 2010 from 2007.
Per my knowleadge, the upgrade process sets the SPWeb.CustomUploadPage property for upgraded sites to a custom upload page titled
uploadex.aspx, as opposed to upload.aspx which is the default page for file uploads. And this custom upload page contains the “Destination Folder” field.
To removes the custom upload page (uploadex.aspx) from SPWeb, and reverts back to the default upload page (upload.aspx), we can use PowerShell script to loop through all Web sites that are contained within the site collection, including the top-level site
and its subsites, and checks to see if the SPWeb.CustomUploadPage property is not equal to blank. If true, then it sets the SPWeb.CustomUploadPage property to blank.
Here is a great blog for your reference:

  • Data in active table showing blank value.

    Hello All,
I am loading the data from write opt DSO to DSO.
I have written an END Routine to populate a field (zfield)
when i load the data to the ODS , an dcheck the data in the new table of ODS it shows the data for the zfield.
But after activating the data for ODS it becomes blank.
    Why does it happens?
    Thanks.
    Vinay

    Hi Vinay,
I am not very sure but I guess we will have to do some mapping (kind of dummy e.g. constant 1) for the fields we are populating in END routine.
I guess you must have done that coz you are getting data in new table..even then check once.

  • Data Migration for Open Purchase Order

    Hi, All,
Is there anyone know how to Count the volume for Open Purchase Order. What's the normal strategy for the Data Migration and Cut-over stage?
My client want to know how many Open Purchase Order in the legacy system and then determine manual or automatic data migration. If manual, how to do? If automatic, how to do? Because all materials and vendors, plants are different number. How to track? How to find out to match between new and old?
    Thank you very much

    JC,
Sounds a bit early to be making decisions about the realization phase.  It doesn't sound like you have finished the Blueprinting phase yet, much less the testing phase.
Anyhow, in my experience I typically use LSMW (Legacy system migration workbench) to load MM master data (material masters), Inventory (WIP, RM, FG, etc) Purchasing Master data (Vendors, Purchase Info Records, Source Lists, Quota Arrangements), and Purchasing transactional documents (POs, PurReqs, Scheduling Agreements, etc).  Depending on the complexity and volume of data, it  may be necessary to write custom programs to load the data.  You will find this out during your requirements gathering.
It is uncommon but possible to load all of these data manually.  I have never run across a client that wants to pay a consultant's hourly rate to sit at a terminal to peck away loading master data, so if the client intends to have his own users enter the data manually, the project manager should make provision that there will be qualified TRAINED client employees available for this data entry.  I did help with a portion of a conversion once manually; of Sales Credits, but there were only about 30 SD docs to load.   I did this the evening before go-live day, while I was waiting for some of my LSMW projects to complete in the background.
A good opportunity to 'practice' your data loads is right after you have completed your development and customization, and you have gotten the approval from the client to proceed from the pilot build to the full test environment.  Once you have moved your workbench and customization into the client's test environment, but before integration testing, you can mass load all, or a substantial portion of your conversion data into the qual system.  You can treat it like a dry run for go-live, and fine tune your processes, as well as your LSMW projects.
Yes, it is good practice to generate comparisons between legacy and SAP even if the client doesn't ask for it. For Purchase orders on the SAP side, you could use any of the standard SAP Purchasing reports, such as ME2W, ME2M, ME2C, ME2L, ME2N.  If these reports do not meet the requirements of the client, you could write a query to display the loaded data, or have an ABAPer write a custom report.
You didn't ask, but you should also do comparisons of ALL loaded data - including master data.
It sounds like you are implying that the client wants YOU to extract the legacy data.  For an SAP consultant, this is not very realistic (unless the legacy system is another SAP system).  Most of us do not understand the workings of the myriad legacy systems.  The client is usually expected to produce one or more legacy system technical experts for you to liase with.  You normally negotiate with the technical expert about every facet of of the data migration.  In addition, you will liase with business users, who will help you and the implementation team to logically validate that the final solution (turnkey SAP production system, fully loaded with data) will meet the client's business needs.
Finally, you mentioned how do you track the mapping of master data between legacy and SAP.  There are many ways to do this.  I normally try to get the legacy person do the conversion on his end, eg, when he gives you the load file, you would like to have already translated the master data and inserted the SAP relevant values into the file.  If this is not possible, I usually use MS Access databases to maintain a master map, and I perform the mapping on a PC.  If your data package is small, you can probably get by using MS Excel or similar.
    Good Luck,
    DB49
