After disk recovery, restoration incomplete error - error during PININST_BBV - and can't access BIOS

Hi I haad got :Ultrabook HP ENVY 6-1103el
I performed a disk recovery (with disks made myself) to wipe the hard drive. Got to disk 4 of 4 when HP Recovery Manager window appeared with following error message when I click the Details button:

There are 3 options, Save Log, Details, Retry. When I try 'Retry' it asks for recovery media. I've put my recovery disk 6 and disk 1 in, but nothing happens. Oddly enough, the command prompt (cmd.exe) is open at this point. Now whenever I restart the laptop it goes to the same restoration error screen with the command prompt open and minimized in the lower left hand corner.
Pressing F10 (BIOS Setup) or F11 (System Recovery) after starting doesn't do anything, it just goes straight the the Restoration Incomplete message. Pressing Esc during start goes to the Startup menu, but pressing F10 or F11 there just does the same thing. F2 System Diagnostics works. I ran quick memory check, everything passed. I ran the long hard drive check. Overall it passed, and each one passed except for optimized dst it said 'not available'. When I choose BIOS Management from Diagnostics UEFI, and try either a BIOS Update or BIOS Rollback, I get 'The selected BIOS image was not available.' My system's BIOS ID is F.23. When I try to select a BIOS Image to apply, I've clicked through the file trees and there's nothing there to choose.
I tried recovering the BIOS pressing Windows and b key when starting. The screen stayed blank and the caps lock light kept flashing but nothing happened. The screen just stayed blank and no bios update screen appeared.
Did my BIOS become corrupted during the system restoration from disk?
Any suggestions or options?

According to your description, after you cleared job queue about force check-in then you can't access some pages in PWA.
Maybe you need to check in the pages which has been checked out.
If you have administrative rights, it is possible to override the check-out via the View All Site Content page:
Site Actions->View All Site Content->Pages->Hover the item you want to check in, and from the context-menu (arrow-down next to the filename), choose "Discard Check Out"

Yes this issue was resolved. I had to add the below two parameters in the instance profile and continue the installation.
icm/server_port_1 = PROT = P4, PORT = 5$(SAPSYSTEM)04, HOST = <full hostname as in the /etc/hosts file>
icm/host_name_full=<full hostname as in the /etc/hosts file>
Note 1158626 P4 connection to ICM on machine with multiple IPs fails.
You can refer following SAPnote # 609603 for the above concepts although this refers to old release."

I think we'd better see if some other application (other than QuickTime itself) has dropped old QuickTime componentry in the system files on the PC. (If there's a version mismatch between the old componentry and the "QuickTime proper" componentry, that can create those symptoms.)
So we'll go looking for the older QuickTime componentry in the most common locations for it to be stashed.
First we'll need to change some view options on the PC.
1. Open My Computer from the desktop or Start menu.
2. In the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
3. Click the View tab.
4. In the "Advanced settings" pane under "Hidden files and folders" make sure that the "Show hidden files and folders" option is selected, and the "Hide extensions for known file types" option is unchecked.
5. Click OK.

Hello this is happening to us also (minus the Bluetooth speaker). We can't figure out what is causing the data usage. I turned off mobile data as soon s I activated the device, and got the message that unless I am connected to WiFi.....(that is exactly what I wanted). We watched Netflix for about three hours, then the alerts started. Like you we have many devices connected and never used over 2GB now all of a sudden we have used it in a matter of hours. My husband called Verizon and got the usual doubting Thomas response. I understand that they don't know my device settings. So over the phone we check all the settings and turned off every possible culprit eating up the data and end the call. By now I have purchased another gig for the month! Assured we are NOT using mobile data, we continue on the IE path to bliss. HA! A few hours later I check the mobile data usage on the Verizon website and that darn thing is still using data. After two more phone calls and two VERY uneventful trips to the local store we were told to take out the sim card. This has stopped the data usage, but it defeats the purpose of having the data plan. I could have just stuck with my Surface. Verizon sent us a new sim card. Its been installed and I have set my homepage to Verizon mobile data usage (just kidding) but I am on that site a lot. I am surprised at the number of complaints about this device. When we called the Verizon support acted as though this was the first time they had heard about this. In Reporting Services, values for LogonUser, LogonDomain, and LogonCred are created when the report server connection is configured to use a domain account. As to the error that “The encrypted value for the "LogonCred" configuration setting cannot be decrypted”,
we can know that it relates to the domain account for report server connection.
To fix this issue, we can refer to the following steps:
Log in to SQL Server Database Engine in SQL Server Management Studio.
Under Security folder, give sufficient permissions for your domain account.
Open your Reporting Services Configuration (go to Start -> All Programs -> Microsoft SQL Server 2005 -> Configuration Tools -> Reporting Services Configuration)
Navigate to the Database Setup tab, select ‘Service Credentials’ as the Credentials Type, then type your domain account and password in there. Press Apply.
Restart the Report Server services.

Did you use any of the "sleep" drivers supplied? I have found it best to just totally reformat/erase the drives and let the OS handle them.

Thinkpad edge s230u twist can't access bios by F1,bios recovery

When I tried to update win8.1 updates KB3000850, it failed via auto-update or installation. Follow the Microsoft guide to restart laptop into safe mode, installation failed also. Then I chose safe mode with minimum way to restart laptop. Then laptop halted down at Lenovo logo.
At first, I thought bios is modified by windows8.1(x64) and it can't load any hard disk to boot. With a couple of days test, I found a way to flash BIOS at very beginning of laptop boot. BIOS can be updated. But there is still no startup option to set boot sequence. My laptop is still halted down at Lenovo logo, same as BIOS update. I can only access bios by keeping real clock error which I generated by clearing BIOS.
if no real clock error, i can't access bios. And f1 and f12 doesn't work. At the lonovo logo screen, Enter doesn't work also although it hints me to press Enter.
In my laptop bios, there is no startup option even I udate it.
can somebody help me on this? Lenovo service center just aksed me to change board.
Here I share the bios crisis recovery solution for s230u, may also for other models.
Laptop: ThinkPad edge s230u twist 3347-3QC
Bios: 1.67, UEFI.
OS:windows 8.1 x64
How to do BIOS crisi recovery:
1. Download bios(exe version) from Lenovo website
2. Run it, and release file. Uncheck the installation at last. Remember the release location. You can get the bios in .fl1 format, mine is in ..\gduj21us\GDETA9WW\
3. Rename it as BIOS.cap and copy it into a new formatted USB stick with FAT32 in root directory.
4. Shutdown Laptop and disconnect AC cord. Insert USB stick.
5. Hold Fn+R, plugging in AC power. And power-on.
6. USB stick is blinking, then you can release key. A short while, after a lenovo logo, flashing screen shows.
7. After flash, laptop will restart or shutdown.
In BIOS, it shows new version. If new bios is new one, flashing takes a longer time than a very short time for same version flashing.

I tried 1.02, it will try to read USB stick, then shutdown, restart, read again, laptop would be in this cycle. It's same when i changed one Bit by hex-editor of 1.69 version. I also try to use PhoenixTool 2.59 to rebuild BIOS after change one or two Bits of extracted roms. same status also, it took the changed bios as wrong input, enter the above cycle also.
I tried 1.53, it can show lenovo logo, and flashing screen, but it hints that BIOS should be qual or newer.
I still wait for some on guide. Thanks in advance.

- Power off, unplug AC, unplug battery, wait 15 miniute, try all again
- Try to update BIOS again

That is really weird.
When you are in Windows, can you test and see if the F1 key is working? If it is working. Shut down the laptop then boot it back up. At the Thinkpad screen, keep spamming the F1 key and see if you are able to boot into BIOS.

I've been trying to find a common denominator. It happens inconsistently. It never happened before the Denim update. When it does occur, the screen goes black immediately upon answering the call and doesn't come back until the call is ended by the calling party.
I thought it might be the proximity sensor, but when it's working normally I can see the screen go dark when it's at my ear and comes back when I take it away (tried it multiple times). I had Gestures Beta installed. I wondered if that could have an affect so I uninstalled it, but that didn't make any difference. I'm still stumped by the inconsistency. I haven't reset my phone as I didn't really want to go through that...

Try from the layers pallet after highlighting your background copy layer. You should have dropdown menus for blend modes and opacity.
