After downloading iOS5 on iPhone 4, the volume buttons and switch on phone's side won't work? All "Settings" are correct, but phone is completely silenced at all times. Solution?
There is no longer a Lock noise, Key clicks, Phone Ringer, camera shutter noise, etc.
has anyone solve this problem? i upgraded my iphone 4 to 5.1.1 and now i can see only ""We're sorry, we are unable to continue with your activation at this time. Please try again later, or contact customer care."
i tried mani sim card, laptops, wifi. but for 7 days the problem is still exist....

OK, I thought you'd like to know that I figured it out! Yea.
I reasoned since my iphone is now sending, I would check to see if the exact same settings in the advanced mail area were the same.
The port on my phone was 110, but in advanced mail area on the mac it was 995/SSL.
I clicked on that and it defaulted to 110.
But what is strange is the 110 port is supposed to be for incoming mail (which I was getting fine even tho it had the 995 port) and the smtp outgoing I thought was a defaulted 25 port.
Anyway, when I changed the mac to the 110 port in advanced area, the mail in outbox was immediately sent.
I have absolutely no idea how the port server was changed to 995 SSL on the mac, since no one but myself uses this computer and I certainly didn't change it. Also, it doesn't at all explain the iphone doing the exact same thing a week ago, even tho that port said 110 when I checked. Very strange indeed, but thanks for the help anyone who is reading this and I hope this helps anyone else having a similar problem.... -

After downloading IOS5, i can't access my itune and receive the following message "The Folder "Itune" is on locked disk or you do not have write permissions for this folder", noting that i access this folder in a normal way. Any clue ?
In my case its a new computer the old one was stolen and the time machine disk did not work for a restore but did for copying the info to the new mac

Try hard reset.
Hold down the sleep and home button until the screen goes black. Turn the phone back on.
If that doesn't work, back up the iphone using iTunes.
Re-install the iOS by putting the iPhone into DFU (recovery mode.)
To do this,
Make sure the phone is pluged in to you computer with iTunes open.
Hold the Sleep and home button until the screen goes black, immediately release the sleep button but continue to hold the home button.
After a few seconds your iTunes should recognize your phone in DFU mode.
"iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes."
At this point you should click on "Restore iPhone"
After your phone is done restoring, don't start as new iPhone. Restore from back up.
If that doesn't work, you're SOL.
Take it to Apple. Tell them they are stupid. -

To start troubleshooting this issue where you are unable to adjust the volume after receiving a call, please go ahead and first force close all of the apps currently running on the device, and then reset it by following the steps in the articles below.

rented a movie on itv. It started downloading. I accidentally hit the menu button and it threw me out of download. I went back and tried to download again. I got a message that I had already downloaded it and go to "settings" and on "iTunes download". The wheel is still spinning after several hours. How do I get the movie?
Ok problem solved; signing out of iTunes account and signing back in solved it.

I was recently updating my phone to the newest software after ios7. It froze for quite a while so I tried holding down the home button and the power button and it shut off. Now it says I have to restore my whole phone but an Error keeps occurring? It brings me to a website saying the steps to possibly fix it but I don't find them helpful

My Ipad has stopped receiving emails today. It has IOS7 on it. The settings are correct but says "connection to the server failed" help!
It is the same accout that has been working find for years and just after I updated the software this has happened. My Mac is still receiving and sending via Outlook with the same account and settings. My Iphone 5C has also stopped and I tried deleting the account and adding again (via exchange as it's an exchange accout) the same way I always do and it won't even recognise it to add the settings.

I have Lion on my IMac and it is hooked up to I Cloud, however, even though all settings are correct I am not getting auto sync of calendars to my I Mac from my IPHone 4S or my iPad 1. Neither am I getting Photfrom my IPhone to my I Mac?
Can someone set me straight?Check system preferences to make sure you have iCal and your photostream checkmarked to TRUE.
If you still have problems, give us more details.
Also, make sure the calendar in iCal you're using/looking at is not "On My Mac", but actually an iCloud one. -
Trying to publsh changes to my website. I get a message "There was an error communicating with the FTP server. Try again later, or check with your service provider." I did, and all my settings are correct, but still cannot publish.
Any other ideas?Most likely you are suffering from a bug in iWeb that doesn't let you publish websites if an image you have added to your site begins with space. You can either search for that image and remove it.

I downloaded CD's to my itunes library. I have itunes match. All my itunes purchased music is on my ipad and iphone cloud. For some reason, while the cloud appears in my library, the CD's that I downloaded (popular ones that itunes recognize) are not showing up on my ipad2 and my iphone4s. When I purchase songs from itunes directly they show up on all i devices (with the cloud icon). In my itunes library all the new downloads from CD's have the icloud icon. However, none of these downloads are showing up on my ipad and iphone as stated above. All my settings are correct. I am sure I am missing something, but not sure what....if anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. thanks.

I just first started my new U400.
However, after registering Windows and Toshiba Quarantee, the system (toshiba message) keeps on showing a warning/info after every time I reboot that I should reboot again to check if all settings are corectly installed.

But I assume there is a tool starting always when the notebook boots up.
Go to RUN and access use the command msconfig.
There you could check what applications start at the beginning.
Then unmark (disable) the process which could cause this message and reboot the notebook.
