After downloading Music (-50) error

I have the current itunes 7.0. Just updated. Ever since, I have been unable to download music. I get a -50 error and it tells me to check the connection. The connections are good. My DNS is good. I did not switch ISPs. I checked permissions. Permissions are good. What else? I am running on Mac Os 10.4.7. It seems to me that Apple has released another crappy product. I'm getting so tired of this.

I have not had any problems with 7.0 or the new update 7.0.1. Try and update your 7.0 to 7.0.1 and see if they have fixed any bug that may have been in 7.0.

this problem shouldn't be related to your Android Software if you are using the Xperia Walkman, but if the Stock ROM is not in the same location and you're not using xperia walkman, the software can contact a different server for tagging the music, probably replying with a different native language

- Terminate the sync
- Reboot the computer
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

After downloading music and dragging into iTunes I end up with multiple copies of the album on my hard drive. I do have the "copy files into iTunes library" checked. When I try to erase one of the copies I end up with red ! in iTunes library.

I do have (under Itunes preferences, advanced) copy songs into itunes library "checked". I'm sure this is the reason for the multiple copies. When I try to delete one of the copies of the album and go back to itunes and try playing a song, I get a red exclamtion point next to the song with an error message saying itunes cannot locate file. My questions are, Does Itunes literally make a copy of the song? If so , How do you know which file to delete?

Sony's own entertainment software on the Vaio plays merry **** with iTunes, worse there's no telling when it will kick in.
First head over to the Sony Vaio site and get the update for the software, that will stop it from messing with the iTunes database/library files when you connect your iPod.

With that stopped you can add the music back without fear of this happening again.

While trying to download music dep error occured

I have windows XP. The iTunes9 downloaded successfully but when I try to download music, apps or anything else a DEP message box occurs and shuts down browser.

That's what 'transfer' meant?
I really don't use another Apple ID for music, and I'm keeping the iPhone so I guess I'll be ok then, I can download music on the iPhone now without any problems after I hit Transfer, thank you

Can't sign in to iTunes or download music "Unknown Error (-9813)"

Every time I try to sign into iTunes to download music I get the following message:
"We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-9813)"
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes and that didn't help....

My nephew is having the same issue as of today. Opens iTunes 8.0.2, clicks Sign In. Tried to create a new account, got the unknown error -9813.
We created an AppleID through the website (that only worked in Firefox, not in Safari 3.2.1) and then clicked sign in. We entered his info, same thing, error -9813.
He's on an iMac running 10.4.11.
I'm going to say this is a bug or recent issue.

Hey Diesel..I for one was to fast to stop the process when the loop started.I recieved an Error Message and didn't write it down or remember itsCode..
Well after spending most of the morning with Apple Tech it all came down that it was a loss of communication between My device and the Apple Firmware Server in itunes..
I used another Computer and updated itune to 11 and after all was up and running in itunes it downloaded the update and installed on the Phone..
All that trouble for loss of connectivity..
Use of the orginal usb that came with the phone also helped...
Still not quite sure but it worked

Downloading music proxy error

Hi
I have installed the latest version of Nokia Music on my PC. I selected tracks to download and have prepaid. When I try to download each track though I get the error:
The Remote server returned an error: (407) Proxy authentication required.
I am using my work PC and we use a proxy server, the proxy settings are stored in IE (version 7) and I can't find anywhere to enter proxy details in Nokia Music application. Can anyone help me?

Did anyone help with this? I have the same problem with a work proxy server. When I connect to the internet vie IE, it asks for a password. Nokia Music doesn't seem to let me do this and it gives a 407 Proxy Authentication Error. The Nokia helpdesk just tell me to talk to my IT dept (thanks a bunch...) who obviously aren't going to lift a finger to help. It seems to me I ought to be able to download the Nokia Music files through IE or another browser, but is that possible?
Any help gratefully received...

I had the same problem! I don't know what caused it, possibly slow Internet but I suppose my antivirus or other software could have affected it. Maybe it's an iTunes problem.
After restarting the download at least 5 times in iTunes after it timed out, I found this website. I didn't know this before, but you can download the update in your browser and then apply it to your iPhone in iTunes once it finishes. I used Firefox 4 and it downloaded without timing out once. All you have to do is hold down Shift and then click on Update in iTunes and it will prompt you to select the update that you downloaded and it will apply it.
Try this and let me know how it works!

Trying to install iTunes on Windows 7 to replace corrupted program. After download, I get ERROR 7 (Windows Error 193) and iTunes won't work.

I've had iTunes on my PC for years (Windows 7 now). I ran an offered Apple iTunes update recently which seemed to mess up the system. When trying to open iTunes, I get the error "Error 7 (Windows error 193)." I've tried to repair iTunes, removed all iTunes files and install as new, etc. Nothing works. The same error message comes up. Also, during installation, I get the message:
Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.
ABORT RETRY IGNORE
I've tried RETRY and IGNORE with no success.
Tlhanks for any help you could offer.

Trying to Run Firefox 4.0.exe after downloading. Receiving error message, "this application has requested Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way, contact your application provider"

I also tried starting Safe Mode and disabling add-ons. No joy.
Several attempts and downloading and installing had same result over a couple of weeks. All other computer functions ok, Firefox 3.6xx works fine.

I can't open any apps after downloading music of mac

I just downloaded 3000 songs of my mac on to my iPad 3 and now I can't open any downloaded apps !
Any one know why ?

Try a reset: Simultaneosuly hold down the Home and On buttons until,themiPad shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Then restart the iPad using the on button.
