After downloading photos from a camera, and deleting them from the device, "iPhoto Quit Unexpectedly", photos were deleted from camera

Does anyone have any suggestions to find these photos? Can't believe they were deleted from camera, but are not in "Last Import".

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

I had the same problem after I gave my old iPad to my parents and tried to install Netflix. This is what you have to do: Open iTunes on your computer, the one you sync your iPad to. Then go to iTunes Store and search for and download Netflix app. After you download it, if your iPad is set to download new purchases it may start downloading on your iPad. If so, tap and hold to delete the app (because it is trying to install the new version on the iPad) Next step, go to the App Store on your iPad and find Netflix and it should say install since you already purchased it on the computer. Tap to install, and it will say the version is not compatible, tap to download a previous version. Click that and it will install the older version! One more thing, if and when you sync to your computer again it will say something like " Unable to install Netflix on your iPad" Just click the box to never remind you again, because it's trying to sync the newer Netflix app to your iPad, but it doesn't work so it displays the message. The old app will remain on the ipad. Hope this helps, good luck

Remove items from a playlist:
1 On the Home screen, tap Music > Playlists, then tap the playlist you want to edit.
2 Flick down, then tap Edit.
3 Tap next to the item you want to delete, then tap Delete when it appears on the right.
4 When you finish, tap Done.
Delete a playlist:
1 On the Home screen, tap Music > Playlists.
2 Flick down, then tap Edit.
3 Tap next to the playlist you want to delete, then tap Delete when it appears next to the playlist.
If you tapped the wrong playlist, tap the one you want to remove.
4 Tap Delete, or tap Cancel if you change your mind.
5 When you finish, flick up, then tap Done (or swipe right to return to the Home screen if you cancel).

If your computer is on one minute before it freezes, than you have one minute to secure your serial number.
click the apple----->click about this Mac ------> click on version----> until you see the serial number. You may have to do this a couple of times if it freezes before you have all the numbers. A camera might help.

You can't. The iPhone doesn't actually store all your emails anyway. It is showing you what is on the server directly.
Only the most recently accessed emails are cached (stored temporarily) on your phone for access when you are offline. If you delete an email from your iPhone, you are actually deleting it from the server.

You'll need a MicroSD Card in the Voyager's Card slot. Copy the photos from the internal memory of your phone to the SD Card. Now you're ready to install the USB Drivers on your PC so you can connect your phone. Download the Drivers from Verizon's web site or go to http://www.lgforum.com/resources and under the Verizon section, download the "LG_USB_Drivers.." file and install the drivers on your PC. As i said in my topic My iPhoto isn't working, I open it and a second later its saying hoto quit unexpectedly while using the Flip4Mac WMV Import Plug in. i press ok and try to open it again but than says to repair so i do so, but it doesnt seem to repair its problem. I have tried opening a new photo library through it with the alt/option key but that doesnt seem to work either. i thought it did for a min because it didnt log out but once i pressed open photo stream it seemed to have the same problem. this is what i see

Can I delete my apps from my Mac and leave them in the iCloud and they will be on my phone?

I see there is backup options on my mac and then backup on the icloud. If i delete all the apps, after they are backed up in the cloudm on my mac am i still good to go on my iPhone? I have 110 apps so it could free up some good space. Thanks!

I believe so, but I am not 100% sure. It is easy enough to test. Try deleting some of your free apps, then retry restoring them and see what happens. You should be able to restore them in the Apps app in the "purchased" tab.

Matching an AE 3D camera and 3D comp to the perspective of an existing photo

I searched the forums for "3D," "camera," "match," and "perspective," but I didn't find the answer I'm looking for.
I have a 3D comp I have created in AE. Animation is all done of layers moving in 3D. I have a still photograph that I want to composite my 3D comp into, and I need to get the perspective to match as precisely as possible. I do not need to move/animate the camera. Just a simple still shot for my background plate and I want to "place" my 3D comp (or the 3D camera looking at the 3D comp) so that it will animate on top of the still background and match in perspective.
What technique should I use to get these elements to line up? I tried to "eyeball" it by just pushing the 3D comp around in 3D space and rotating it and the camera, but I don't think I was ever going to get it right. Too many variables. Seems like there should be some way to do this "properly." I'm using AE 7.0 and Photoshop CS2.

Regarding focal length / angle of view. We're talking about two different things. You're absolutely right that focal length is "only a cropping tool" and does not alter perspective. However, angle of view is very different from focal length and absolutely changes how edges converge at vanishing points, etc. But I now see that we we're talking about different things.
For what I was doing, I definitely needed to position a 3D camera and work with a 3D comp. Corner pin would not have done the trick. I wish it had been that easy.
I'd love to know what process you used to arrive at this combination of camera position and 3D solid position. I would push things back and forth, up and down, here and there, and I just wasn't getting close. Curious to know what your method was. I was trying to be intelligent about it (figuring out the horizon line... making sure the camera was on the same plane... tilting the camera up slightly... placing grids in 3D space to try to get a match... etc.) and it just seemed to be a nightmare. I've been working in 3D for over 15 years and know what I'm doing, but I couldn't get over how difficult this was. Just seemed like way too many variables. I'm much more of a "figure it out the correct way" kind of person, and I don't do well with "guesswork." If you have some thoughts on how to simplify the effort, I'd love to hear them.

If you mean the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings, it's still where it's always been. In iTunes go to View>Show Sidebar to make the new version look more like previous versions. Then connect your phone, click on the name of your phone on the left side, and Photos will show on the top right.

Iphoto quits when trying to import from ipad

Just got an iPad - trying to download photos and small videos to the iMac so that I have more space on the iPad. Whenever I try to import all the photos, etc. from the iPad, iPhoto quits unexpectedly after a few minutes. When I re-open iPhoto on the iMac, I always get a prompt "we found 1874 photos in the iPhoto Library that were not imported, would you like to import them now?" Same problem occurs, then more photos listed on the prompt the next time... Any suggestions? (My OS is Snow Leopard, if that helps...?) I just updated from Tiger to Snow Leopard, but the iPhoto problem has carried over...

Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for a Folder called 'Import' or 'Importing'.
Drag it to the Desktop. *Make no other changes*.
Start iPhoto. Does that help?
If it does then look inside that folder on your desktop. Does it contain anything you want? If not you can trash the folder.

IPhoto quits unexpectedly and does not allow me to update

When I open iPhoto, I am prompted to upgrade: "The photo library needs to be upgraded to work with this version of iPhoto." Before I even have the opportunity to click Upgrade, the application quits: "The application iPhoto quit unexpectedly." When I click Relaunch, I receive the upgrade message again and the program quits again.
I have already repaired the permissions using Disk Utility and deleted the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from my Preferences folder per the instructions I found to resolve this problem on another site, but that did nothing.

Someone else found that this works
Launch iPhoto while depressing the option (alt) key and create a new library - then launch iPhoto again while depressing the option (alt) key and switch back to your original library - this has apparently worked for some people
