After downloading songs I am unable to transfer them to my Ipod. Any suggestions?
I am having trouble transfering songs to my ipod after purchasing them.
When putting the usb in the computer/mac make sure (if on iTunes) the status bar says Sync with iPod, if not then either try a new usb hole or restart itunes. If it does say that then go on to the itunes side bar and click on the ipod name and then sync all the music to it.

After downloading Yosemite something has happened to my junk mail filter. I am getting 40-50 junk mail messages daily. I went in and reset the junk mail preferences but it hasn't helped. Any suggestions???
There is only one way to uninstall MacKeeper.

Lord knows what it may have done to your system already, or what you may have done manually deleting items. I would suggest you backup and reinstall Yosemite. As for installing another browser, you can install anyone you like that is compatable with Mac. Chrome. FireFox, Opera etc. It's always been this way. You are not obliged to use Safari as your default browser.

Recently got a new iPod Touch 4th gen; I had previously backed up to iCloud and subscribed to iTunes Match, and then wound up syncing the new iPod to my MacBook Pro; all iCloud tunes were downloaded to Mac but won't all sync to the iPod after multiple attempts, despite all songs showing properly on the Mac and multiple syncs occurring after all songs were properly reflected on the Mac. I updated iTunes Match from the iTunes Store menu as well pre-sync.
I should mention that I had previously had the library on a Dell (which is still running) and shared it on my home network. While all iTunes purchases now show in the Dell, the Mac is the device I use for all syncs.
There appears to be no rhyme or reason to the iCloud physical sync failure - some songs were legacy, some were purchased via the PC, some on the old iPod.
The Mac shows all the songs correctly and none show iCloud status -all have been downloaded, but the downloaded songs that were previously showing up as iCloud based aren't syncing to the iPod.
Is there any way to force all music being seen by my iPod as iCloud to download to so I can listen to them offline? Is there a way to force the sync from iTunes?The "system" performed as designed. All devices syncing to one iCloud account are kept in common sync. The idea is that all such devices belong to one user. Different users should have different iCloud accounts. Once your contacts were edited, all devices were updated as well and subsequent backups (from yours and her device) reflected the changed contacts (and any other data that may have been edited like calendars). Your first task is to change your daughter over to a new account before she makes other changes.
The only way I see for getting back contacts is to restore them from a time machine backup, assuming you also have a Mac included in the account which syncs the contacts. However, I'm not sure whether time machine includes contacts from iCloud along with those that are local, "on my Mac".
Otherwise the deleted contacts are gone. -

If you have an iPod Touch running iOS 4.3.3 or later, you can download the songs in the purchased tab of iTunes on the iPod.

I bought a book from itunes with my ipad. after syncing my ipad and iphone the book did not transfer to my iphone. Any suggestions? I might add that I an technically handicaped
If the book isn't on your computer's iTunes then you should be able to copy it from the iPad by connecting the iPad to your computer and in iTunes doing File > Transfer Purchases and you can then sync it to the iPhone (connect the iPhone to your computer, select it on the left-hand side of iTunes, and use the Books tab on the right-hand side to select and sync that book). Does anybody know how to download songs without having to pay for them when you use your voucher. I have redeemed it and have £15 in my account yet everytime I go to download a song it's trying to get me to pay!!! Please help?

i've got another one literally called "track by track walk through" lol
now im wishing there was just an option to select these oddballs and exclude them individually.
i cant come up with rules for every single possibility, but i cannnn eliminate those odd songs when i see them if there was an exclude option.

I know how to add lyrics to a song in iTunes and then see them on my iPod. But now I'm interested in watching those lyrics on my windows pc...can I ? What do I do so than I can see the lyrics of the song while it plays ?
This is the correct behavior. When you play a song, the play count and last played time gets updated. When you resync the iPod, the track gets copied to the iPod to update these new changed fields.
There is no fix for this, this is what it is supposed to do. -

If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:

I have Preview as my default pdf reader. Every time I download a pdf file, I get a dark grey screen. Any suggestions?

I also installed Adobe Reader because an ebook I downloaded wouldn't open without it.
I then chose Adobe Reader as my default. When I later uninstalled it using the Trash Me app-which usually clears everything out-I couldn't get Preview back as the default.
I went to the "Library/Internet plug-ins" path and trashed the two Adobe Reader plug ins that were there. I used Secure Empty Trash, and then shut down completely and did not check the box to reopen any windows. Then I restarted the Mac.
I not only shut down Safari, I closed all applications and shut down the Mac completely being sure to uncheck the "relaunch with windows open" button. When I turned the Mac back on, I opened Safari and went to an online PDF that I had been trying to open previously to test the app. It opened this PDF using Preview and showed it in Safari.
I then tested using a PDF from my files and it opened in Preview.
Quit Safari.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type of copy / paste: /Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Click Go then move the Adobe PDF Browser plugin from the Internet Plug-Ins folder to the Trash.
Relaunch Safari to test. -

lb6301OK, the only thing that I can suggest at this point is to take the machine to your local Apple Store and have them download and install the latest version of Safari. It's likely something that they'll do for free if you get a nice Genius...
I don't know what I was thinking about - finely figured out that you MUST have an iOS or other device!
