After downloading the latest ujpdate from itunes it is impossible to see album songs individually, the screen is black and all that shows is the album cover.

Trying to find music to download and buy but the screen is black with no facilities to view the records on the album.
When I click on the album it plays and offers a single purchase on that song playing, but no other option to
buy the whole album. It also displays 4 pictures of the same album cover.
Have tried deleting and downloading again and pressed repair, but the same thing happens.
What do I do now please?

Thank you for your question. iTunes 11.1 is required to update to and sync with iOS 7. If you are still running iTunes 10.6.3, I recommend trying to obtain the update by going to the iTunes menu and selecting Check for Updates.

This happens even if I simply hover the mouse over bookmarks, not even opening a page.
And waiting for this to happen some times or closing and re-opening seems to make it work ok again.
I've already disabled almost all add-ons (I'm using only one for Flash and NoScript right now), reinstalled Firefox (8.0.1), restoring only the bookmarks from an older version.

I just tried deleteing every smart mailbox and re-constituting a few. This went OK until I made one that had to reference a Gmail IMAP 'folder' and as soon I did that ... BAM! ... the infinite spinner appears.

My iphone screen is black and all the buttons are not working

The screen of my iPhone 4 suddenly went irresponsive and within a few seconds it went completely black. I tried to power it off and also tried the home button but nothing seems to be responding.
Incoming calls still ring out but I am not able to answer the calls and cannot see anything on the screen.
I connected it to my laptop, the iphone appears on "my computer" and I was able to see pictures and videos that are on the phone, however iTunes cannot detect the devise.
Any help please?

Try to reset your iPod using the recovery mode as described in this support article
However, this will erase the iPod completely. If you have an iTunes-backup on your computer you can restore your iPod settings later from the backup.
I have never tried this in WIndows, however. The procedure might be slightly differeent.

I found another work-around that doesn't require iTM (and actually gets rid of the ghosts).

Look for the post from GeekDad3 (2nd from the bottom as I write this).
(EDIT: the Windows app I used was iExplorer - it has a free demo mode).
After doing this, I synced the same playlist that I mentioned before (with the ghost songs) and they were duplicated on my phone. I deleted both instances of the songs manually on my phone, removed all music via iTunes (un-synced the playlist), and when I re-synced the same playlist the ghosts were gone and the songs were no longer duplicated!
Hope you get the same result! And I completely agree - I'm not renewing iTM either. Hopefully they'll fix it someday - it has great potential.

Did you try a reboot/reset?
Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. The iPad/iPod should restart

After downloading te "latest version" of iTunes, nearly 3/4 of my purchased and imported Library will not play. How can this be remedied?
Can it be remedied? Is it possible to "Uninstall" this "latest version" and revert to my previous version?

find the folder on your computer that contains missing music.
you can add to libary by dragging the folder to your itunes libary.
Or from menu bar in itunes go to file- add to libary.
(menu bar on windows click on the little partially shaded box- show menu bar)

I have a similar problem. I restored my iPhone 5 to the latest available OS. After completing the process the phone never restarted. The phone was fully charged when I restored it but now refuses to charge past the red battery icon. I have been able to get the phone in UFD mode several times and have been able to load the new OS on the phone. The Apple logo does come on and the software fully loads. iTunes tells me the phone will restart but never does. I left it to charge all night but it never appeared to load the battery. This morning I went to the Grand Central Terminal apple store for help. A woman at the store plugged the phone in but it never charged. She absolutely refused to believe that I got my phone in UFD mode and loaded any software on. I don't think it is a battery issue. The only solution I was given was to buy a new phone. Repairing it was out of the question. At this point the phone is completely useless. Thanks in advance for the help.

I have the same problem and have been fighting with it for several days. I think the last thing that I did before this happened was to let Quicktime update itself. When I open itunes and click on store, the connecting bar gets halfway and then stops. That leaves me with the white store page, if I leave it alone for a bit, I see words as in names of singers and but no pictures.
I have ran the diagnostics and see no problems at all, no event logs in windows, no errors at all. I've un-installed itunes and re-installed but no change. I'm using Norton 360 from comcast. I have windows 7 pro 64 bit. Also, the help in itunes doesn't display.
I put in a ticket with apple and the response I got back basically told me to do what I've already done. I created a new user and have the same issue.
Any help at all will be very much appreciated. I think this started August. 8, 2011.

Yes. I just solved the problem on my PC. Here goes...
Issue: My Windows7 computer was producing the pop up box with the error text as you described.
The Problem: You have another application on your computer that uses the like named .DLL file... in this case a DLL supporting SQLite on your local PC.
Solution:
1. You need to use the Windows File search feature to look for the name "SQLite". This will quickly locate the offending DLL in the other application.
2. Decide which program you like the most, in my case "Mobile Me", and uninstall the offending application.
3. Uninstall Mobile Me.
4. Restart your PC.
5. Reinstall Mobile Me.
6. Mobile Me should sync at this point, but if not, restart the PC once again.
In my case, the offending program was my Aptana Studio development application. I had recently the SQLite3 database to my Ruby On Rails configuration...
This is where the file was located:
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Aptana Studio 2.0\plugins\com.aptana.radrails.sqlite3.win32_3.5.7.1278709071\vendor\SQLite3.d ll
