After downloading V. 5, my Fast Dial homepage has disappeared and I can't get it back??

After downloading and installing V. 5 my Fast Dial homepage has disappeared from the opening screen. All of the webpage logos are gone, and the opening screen is blank. I have not been able to restore the Fast Dial homepage. How do I restore the Fast Dial homepage with all the logos?

This does not help. The checkbox is checked. The Downloads window is listed in the list of windows in the Windows menu, though it isn't shown in the set of windows displayed by Exposé when I display only the Firefox windows. Somehow it seems to exist as a non-appearing window.

All the images in my Speed Dial thumbnails have disappeared and I can't get them back. When I check the settings all the thumbnails have the site shown in the details so should be showing the site in the thumbnail, but they're just blank. I uninstalled Speed Dial and installed it again, but to no avail. Something is stopping the image appearing but don't know what. I paused blocking on Ghostery, but that makes no difference. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, then I tried deleting downloads.sqlite, but it gets recreated when I restart Firefox. Apparently the downloads database is stored somewhere else that I must also delete, but I don't know where. I'm assuming that deleting that will solve the problem, though perhaps there is some other problem.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Yup, your question and Diane's answer helped me also. Tho' I had had problems before getting into the iTunes store I always managed to find a way. Today they had me blocked cold with the "Update to 10" advert no matter what I did. Other questioners are being told, incorrectly as it turns out, that they have to update their OS to accomodate iTunes 10 and upgrade to iTunes 10. I did the download which did not take up much more room on my crowded old hard drive and now I'm back in business.

Clarification:
I believe now you potentially lose all extensions, plug-ins when you use the new reset function, but you will let me know.
If that is the case, your find corrupt file method maybe better. However, I reviewed the two help articles and there appear to be more files than just the delete search.json file and a possible search.sqlite file in the Firefox Profile Folder. I am confused. Then I have to find the folders. I think help articles mentioned how to find the profile containing the files, but not sure.

Your phone connected, iTunes running, under the "Apps" tab, you've selected this app to install on your phone, correct? Hit the "Apply/Sync" button, lower right on the Apps tab, what happens?

You've tried restarting the film ? If it still skips then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that film and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, 24 to 48 hours).
Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

Why does the "more info" of "Get info" get erased after the first time I look at it, and how can I get it back?

When I download a graphic, photo, or PDF, I can get information about it, including size and the web address of the download, using Get info. But in Mountain Lion, after I look at a file once, this information disappears. This wasn't true of Snow Leopard, though I can't remember whether it was true of Lion. In any case, it seems like a bug. Is there a way to recover this information?

Only when i go to a different browser (like IE) after i clear it , then all that shows up is the pages i visited in IE , that is what bugs me , why is IE browsing history sowing up in Firefox ??

After updating to Firefox 5.0 the font changed on my email. I checked, and the default setting is what I had put in before the update but it's not working. How can I get my email to use the font and type size that I chose? The one that's currently being used (since after the update) is so tiny one can hardly see it. My email program is through yahoo but there doesn't seem to be a way to change it at the email site. I'm not terribly PC savvy so please respond with a detailed/explicit answer. Hi again...,,yes, I did try the "reset zoom" on the email compose message page and nothing happened. I'm not familiar with add-ons. Went to the address you suggested (DefaultFullZoomLevel) but don't know how to use it. Also, I don't want to enlarge the text on all web pages.....just the email page. By the way, if it makes a difference, I think I forgot to mention that I use AT&T/Yahoo webmail....not Outlook Express or Thunderbird or any other email program. I'm not familiar with those and don't want to change email programs. Thanks again for trying to help with this. Depending upon what country that you are in have you tried deleting and redownloading it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes ? If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link.
