  • HT4972 How do you save your photos, Are they saved in the back up?

So you know how when you plug in your apple device the tab for saving your pictures in a
    certain folder comes up,
Well that thing doesnt show up and I dont know how else to save my photos. When you
back up your device on itunes does all my photos in my ipod get saved in there.

    - Photos in the iPod's Camera Roll/Saved Photos album is included in the backup that iTunes and iCloud makes.
    - When you import photos to your computer
iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
they go to where the program you use tells them to go.

  • Premiere Element 9, how do you save your favorite transitions and 1080/60p

In Premiere Element 9, how do you save your favorite "transitions" and or "effects" to a folder like all the Premiere Element versions, theres no right clicking.
Does anyone know if the Panasonic HDC-tm700 1080/60p would work in version 9 ?

As you can see from this discussion from Muvipix.com, that camcorder does have some challenges.
    http://muvipix.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=89&t=8453
In 60p mode, it uses a proprietary system that most third-party editors, including Premiere Elements, have problems with.
Using the software that came with the camcorder to convert it to 60i seems to make it compatible.
I'm not sure why Panasonic decided to make its video format non-standard. But it looks like the easiest solution is to edit that 60p video pretty much only with the software they give you with the camcorder.

  • How can you get your photos in the order they are in your computer

How can you get your photos synced to your phone in the same order as the file on your computer?

The iPhone Photos app orders photos by date.

  • How do you get your photos in to different photo albums?

How do you get your photos into different photo albums on a i phone 4

If you are willing to manage your photos in iPhoto and transfer the albums you create in iPhoto to your iPhone (using iTunes), I think you will find that an easy solution is available.
In iPhoto, locate the image that you want to insert into an album (or albums); for example, you may locate the image in an event, or it may be in one or more "Faces" categories, or it may already be in an album, etc. Then, drag the image into any album. Repeat to insert the image into other albums.
I may have misunderstood your question, or the above may not provide what you're looking for, so post again if need be.

  • How do you save your artwork in Photoshop CC 2014 as an PNG or JPEG file when it doesn't give the option?

How do you save your artwork in Photoshop CC 2014 as an PNG or JPEG file when it doesn't give the option?
Thanks for your time and help in advance.

Thanks for replying. I actually got it to work. I had my work set to 32 Bits/Channel in stead of 16 or 8. Once I changed it to 16bit/Channel, it gave me the option to save as either file. Thanks again.

  • How do you view your photo stream?

If you are away from a computer, how do you view your photos on your photo stream?

You'd need an Apple mobile device running iOS 7 and logged into your iCloud account.
If you create a Shared Photo Stream and know the URL of it you can access the photos from any computer via its browser.

  • How do you save your DVD to your Hard Drive, and then convert to iPod?

Hello everyone, I was wondering how you save your DVD to your hard drive and then convert it to the iPod Video.
    Please respond.
    P.S.
I know that it's been discussed all the time, but none of the posts are useful for me.
    Thanks

    Hi,
The best option is to pull the card out and plug to your computer UNLESS your computer does not have a card reader. If your computer did not have a card reader, you need to map the cardreader on your printer to your network using the following method:

  • How do you store your photos

This is a double question I am using Adobe Production Premium for editing and I will be purchasing Lightroom in couple of weeks and wanted to know when you download your photos to your computer what everyone is using in terms of hard drives and backing up.  Are you using a single hard driver and backing up. or some type of raid like a raid 5?  I trying to come of with the perfect setup for video editing and my photo work in photoshop and Lightroom

You aren't going to find a "perfect" setup, well, unless you have unlimited money.  And even then someone will say it's not the best way.
First, backups.  By all means, backup your files!  DVDs are good for about 5 years, on average.  So not a final solution to backing up your data.
Operational disks:  Many choices here.  If you don't want to lose your current work,  not even the last 15 minutes, raid1 is a minimum.  If you need more speed, raid1+0 is a good bet.  I personally use raid5, with hardware controller, battery backedup, etc, which is (to me) a solid choice.  Others say raid10 is just as good.  At this time, I see the main difference as basically the number of disks you need to allocate to storage.  raid1 uses 50% overhead.  Raid 0 uses multiple disks for speed, but no redundancy.  So raid10 basically has a minimum of 4 disks, which means (@50%) you get 2 disks worth of storage.  For raid5, with 4 disks I get 3 disks worth of storage. With hardware support, it's just as fast as raid10.  So it's a trade off, just as everything is.
Some people have opted for SSD for boot disk, or catalog disk.  Raid1 those, and you will get good performance for the catalog (which is accessed a LOT).  Then put slower, less expensive raid10 or raid5 disks for your image storage.  You could, of course, use SSDs raided for your main storage, too... heck, if I could afford it, I would love to have a few TBytes of SSD storage for all my editing needs!
Raid doesn't negate the need for backups, though.  It just reduces the loss impact should something happen.  Without a raid file system for your data, if you suffer a disk crash, you will lose all changes from the time you did your last backup.  You wil also loose the time it takes to swap the disk and rebuild from backups.  With  raid5, I can hot-swap and keep going.  With raid10 I have to stop, do work on the mirror, and then rebuild.  Again, a trade off.
So I guess my basic suggestions here are:
Raid your working drives as much as you can with what you can afford.  Make the trade off between speed/disk space/ease of repair
Setup and keep a good backup strategy.
Oh, don't forget the UPS to keep your computer up long enough to shut down gracefully in a power outage!
And no, backing up to DVDs is not a long term solution!
    Cheers!

  • How can you Copyright your photos in iWeb

Does anyone know how to copyright your photos in iWeb so that others can download your images and claim them as their own?? thanks

Press: Option+"G" and you will have this "©" after it put your name as:
    ©Fito Pardo 2007
In photoshop or a program like this put your copyright notice on top of your photos like I did it:
    http://www.cinematograf.com/Links/Clientes/Pages/Belinda.html
If you like no one to download your pictures I recomend to you to put your images like here:
    http://www.cinematograf.com/Media/StillPortfolio/StillPortfolio.html
So is more dificult for others to use them as their own as this pictures are in way less resolution than prints and is very difficult to use video images on a catalog, it look like crap.
    And there is another way
Put your images like I did in video, then place a box layer on top of the video and make that box transparent:
Under the "Inspector" window, go to "Graphic", then go to "Opacity" and make the square "0%", make shure is on top of your whole video so no one can download your video.
This is actually the best way, but then again if you don't put a copyright notice like the "Belinda" pictures I did (she is a Latin Pop Star, That is why I put that copyright notice on top of every shot, there is a lot of fans who like to have some of those pictures) you will still have to worry about:
    "Shift" + "Command" (Or Apple) + "4"
That one is the command to copy what ever you want on the screen
I hope this works for you
