After editing, not seeing the photo

I use iPhoto 5.0.4; I have about 5200 photos in my library.
I'm having issues with seeing an image after cropping the photo (down to 4 x 6) in Edit mode. In the following scenario:
Crop/edipt photo -> click the Next arrow -> see "Saving Changes" -> go back to the photo
Though I can still see the thumbnail, I see nothing but blank white, and can no longer see the image in Edit mode. This seems to be happening when I try to edit images that have been uploaded with large "rolls".
Any feedback?

iPhoto crashes at about the 12th album - I have tried this twice.
Do you have any other feedback?
There is a damaged file or files at this point and this is causing the crash.
This is not an issue with your RAM is a corrupted Library database.
If rebuilding with iPhoto Library Manager won't work then you need to restore from your Back Up. IF you don't have one follow the instructions in this article for Manually Rebuilding a v5 library:

I can not see file( photo,document) in IM APPS

I need your help!!! I chat with my brothers with my iphone 4 and they use Blackberry or computer to chat with me. I can send all file or photo to them but when they want to send it also to me during chatting (via Im+,MSN,eBuddy), I can not see anything not even invitation to accept it. It likes they did not send anything to me but they said they trying to send a photo to me. Does anyone know what is wrong with my iphone?

I double-click on event to see all the photos in that event displayed, but all I get is 1 large photo on the edit page. To see the photos in that event, I have to scroll. Need to be able to work with all the photos in that event, not one at a time.

IPhoto 9 does not save edits, cannot see the edited photo except in the edit panel

I am a macbook pro user, OSX 10.6.8, iPhoto 9 - 8.1.2
The problem - noise edits of my pictures are not saved, I do not see the edited version of the photo in the iPhoto album or event, my photo prints only monochrome on the HP 1280 inkjet printer and that too only the original version.
Crop edits are however saved as are enhancements.
Solutions tried thus far - creating a new library by holding the "option" button pressed on launching iPhoto and importing pictures to the new library - no good.
I have seen the Library Manager based solution on these forums, so where to get the library manager.

To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2. Download it from the App Store to reinstall It's on your Purchases List there.
For older versions that have been installed from Disk you'll need these additional steps:
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 or later they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.

I can not see the pictures in the photo pane

I'm trying to see my pictures in the photo pane (the media section in iMovie) but I can not see them. I know that I have to have iPhoto 4 or later. I have iPhoto 6 but I can't still see the photos. Can you help me?????

If deleting the pref files didn't help, then it's likely a problem in the iPhoto albumdata.xml file. This is the file that other apps must read to access your library. It usually goes bad due to a problem keyword in your library. Look for non-ascii characters in your keyword list. One user had an empty keyword that caused this problem.

In an album in Photos touch the Edit button and then touch the desired photos (up to 5). A blue check appears in each selected photo. Next touch the Share button at the upper left and select Mail. This starts a email with the photos attached.

Not see the apps after sync from laptop

Ok, the issue seem to be solved. The problem was this:
The many hundred files (raw and xmp per image) have been downloaded by ftp in no specific order. Means - a couple of files in the download queue - both raw and xmps. Most of the time, the small xmp files have been finished loading first and hence the "last change date" of these xmp files was OLDER than the "last change date" of the raw file - Lightroom then seem to ignore the existence of the xmp file and does not read it during import.(a minute is enough to run into the problem)
By simply using the ftp client in a way that all large raw files get downloaded first followed by the xmp files, we achieved that all "last changed dates" of the xmp files are NEWER than the related raw files. (at least not older)
And then LR is reading them and all metadata information has been set / read correctly.
So this is solved.
