After Effects Availability in Application Manager
After Effect does not appear in my adobe application manager. How can I make it available to Install?

I can see After Effect in Adobe Application Manager
Hello. I have a creative cloude monthly subscription. I installed several programs on my working MAC. Now i want to install the same program at home on my Sony Vaio with Windows 7 but in Adobe Application Manager i can see only 14 program but not all . The program that i want to install is After Effect. can you help me please? Thanks in advance!
After Effects and Premiere Pro require a 64-bit computer, otherwise they do do show in the Adobe Application Manager.

Hey, I was wondering if you could help me in an Issue i am having?
I have installed the Adobe Application Manager and it was succesful and it has a list of all the programs i can install/try but im scrolling down and I can see no Adobe After Effects for the Trial.

If you have 32-bit Processor and the operating system(Windows or mac) then the Adobe application manager will not show After effects and Premiere pro as these two software require 64-bit processor and the operating system.

After Effects requires a 64-bit OS per the system requirements. That might be the cause. It is available as a trial on 64-bit system.

I can't update my after effects and my adobe manager isn't working either
tried updating my adobe manager, and it isn't working. neither is the updates for after effects and encoder.

A software update is required? No update available via Application manager.
Hi,
Since today my Folio Builder screen in my Indesign CC says I need to update via the help menu/updates. Application manager launches but doesn't show any updates. I mannualy tried to install AdobeDigitalPublishingPatch-CC-30.0.0.dmg but then it says the update is not applicable. What is going on?I'm not sure what's causing this problem. You might want to remove/reinstall InDesign and try again.

Nvidia CUDA driver update fixes crashes for After Effects and other applications
We are seeing reports that the CUDA 5.5.47 driver update released today addresses the crashing problems introduced by the CUDA 5.5.43 driver update.
So, if you have an Nvidia GPU, please update your drivers to use the most recent version of the CUDA driver.
On Mac OS, you can update your version of the CUDA driver from the CUDA panel, available from the Mac OS System Preferences. For CUDA downloads, see the Nvidia website.
Also, make sure that you have installed the most recent updates for your Adobe video applications.I actually had a very negative thing happen to me when I updated CUDA to 5.5.47, it broke my computer! Here's what happened and how you might put a band-aid on it for the time being....
Specs:
MacPro (Mid 2010)
Mavericks 10.9.2
ATI Radieon HD 5770 1024 MB
1) I went to System Preferences > CUDA > Update and ran the updated for 5.5.47
2) After the update was successful, I launched Adobe Prelude CC and it crashed immediately. Then I launched Adobe Premiere CC, crashed on startup.
3) I restarted my computer
4) Tried launching Adobe Prelude CC again, crashed.
5) Restarted my computer in Single User Mode, Ran a File System Check, shows that the Mac HD Appeared to Be "Okay"
6) Rebooted and went to System Preferences > CUDA, it shows that I had 5.5.47 but that a UPDATE WAS REQUIRED, the problem was that it didn't have an update button
7) I went to the CUDA update website and found the 5.5.47 update for Mac, ran it and it appeared to install successfully, but the applications still crashed and the preference pane for CUDA still showed that an update was required.
8) I called Apple, they suggested re-installing Mavericks, so I did. Still the apps crashed and CUDA showed 5.5.47 with an update still being required
9) I searched for CUDA and found that it was in HD > Library > Frameworks
10) I moved the CUDA Framework file to my Desktop to make a copy and to remove it from the Frameworks folder
11) Launched Adobe Prelude CC and Adobe Premiere CC and they worked fine.
I know CUDA does some wonderful things when it works, so if anyone has any suggestions on how to re-install and it get it working again, please let me know. -
Why wont my free trial download complete after 99% in adobe application manager?
It will download to 99% and stop. If I cancel there will be a yellow message installation failure, which states, administrative privileges required. How can this be if i am using the administrative account on my computer?
Nobody can know. You are not offering system information. And just logging on as administrator doesn't necessarily give you access to all folders, especialyl if they have been created by other users/ under different accounts with restricted security settings.

Language change cs6 master collection mac (cc application manager)
hello there,
in order to follow some tutorials on the web i want to change the language of my (german) master collection (mac) - at least for after effects.
for that it usually used to work by just renaming the de_DE file to en_US in package content/ressources/amtlanguages or just by placing a ae_force_english.txt to the documents folder. but since my application manager updated to cc, adobe checks the license every time i open the apps. now those "hacks" leads automatically to the situation, that it starts as a trial version. when i try to enter my license key it says something like "your license is only for german language". i really searched the internet for that issue - but i could hardly find something.
so please - could someone tell me if it's still possible to change the language at least for after effects with cc application manager? yes, i read about the possibility to swap my whole license to english by contacting the adobe support. but really? it's almost 2015 - and i can't choose english as the primary language like i can in every other app on my mac? don't want to wait 2 days for response and then download and install a new version. above that it's not very practical that all programs are in english then - photoshop for example is alright for me in german.

Adobe Application Manager Fails
Hi there.
Already six months ago, but now I have the same issues. Everything startet with a bug in Media Encoder and the support notice by adobe to uninstall all Quicktime components (see this thread: Re: Adobe QT 32 Server is Not Responding in Premiere CC ). It solved the problem, but then I could'nt import several Quicktime source because of the missing components. I reinstalled Quicktime, Pro Apps codec pack, .... many other codecs I need every day: nothing. At last I reinstalled Final Cut Pro 7 again hoping the missing components will come with it. Then I recognized that I had to reconnect each media manually in Premiere to use all teh sources again. Fine! Until I tried to export again. Then the same issues came up like before: buggy Media Encoder. And ON TOP I can't open After Effects becaus "Adobe Application Manager fails!". I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, logged out and in again...nothing changes. And I won't uninstall all my CC Apps!
So: is there a save solution for this issue??
Another point: Why should there be a problem of running CS6 Apps and CC Apps on the same machine? Encore isn't even included in CC. Running the cleaner tool will make you to reinstall Premiere CS6 in order to have Encore on your system.

En fait cela venait de l'ajout d'un plug-in (ICOformat) pour Photoshop.
Si quelqu'un rencontre le même problème, il suffit de supprimer ce plug-in dans "MACINTOSH> Library>App Support>Adobe>Plug-Ins>CS6>File Formats". -
After Effects quits unexpectedly on launch; GPU Manager Error
Hello,
I've been searching the forums and haven't found an answer yet to my issue, although i have found some similar problems on older AE versions and older Mac versions.
Here's the symptom:
AE crashes every time I launch it. It used to work fine on Mavericks, which I recently updated to. It generates this error on launching (I'll post the Apple report at the bottom of the message):

When I launched AE the first time that this happened, it asked if I wanted to sync settings (I also use CC at work on a different machine), to which I said yes. I doubt that this caused the issue, but I figured I'd mention it.
System specs:
Mac OS 10.9.2 3.4GHz Intel Core i7, 16GBs RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB GPU.
After Effects version 12.2
I have tried booting AE while in Safe Mode; I've tried erasing the preferences, and I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the program. No luck.
The other thread I've found here suggests editing a kext file. To me, this seems like a dangerous solution that I would like to avoid, since I don't know the reprocussions of doing it.
There is an added oddity to this, however--when I updated to Mavericks, it added a CUDA driver to my system preferences, and had me install an update to it. I feel that this is related to the problem, since I don't have an nVidia card installed.

Removing the CUDA drivers took care of the issue. I must have installed it some time ago and forgotten about. Poor choice.

After Effects CC alert keeps showing up when tying to open application, HELP!
I just got a (never used) in the box refurbished Mac Pro and installed Maverick 10.9.2. Now I get this “After Effects Alert” when trying to open AE CC. I ran the AE 12.2.1 updater to update it. But when I do a “Get Info” it still says “12.2” and I still get the alert. I've un-installed and re-installed AE but it's still a no go. Does anybody know how to fix this problem?
Oh, also I do have that "Red Giant Link" installed. They call it "UNIVERSE". I wonder if that could be a problem!Okay here you go:

Can't log anymore on creative cloud after the installation of the new application manager (7.0)
the first capture is comming after starting the adobe application manager and the login process. and the second on is comming after try to connect to my folio builder.
the connection to the adobe server is working because if I enter a wrong password I received the regular message that my id and password is wrong... it's when the credential is ok that I receive this message

MichelAs an update, suggested route from Adobe Care was to use CC cleaner to clear off the installer and re-install it (see here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5418705#5418705).
I did this (someohow wiping out Photoshop in the process!!) and re-installed Creative Cloud Installer. Still the same issue of 'Unknown Server Error' on log in.
It should be added I am on a broadband network through my company. While the IT here always say they dont really do much in the way of a Firewall I do have problems with some connection types (such as email programmes, radio apps and Dropbox can be a bit funny too). But the intallers had all worked without issue before this update.
Awaiting a call back from Adobe now. -
How do I close Adobe Dynamic Link Manager & Adobe Media Core to install After Effects?
when i try and install the after effects cc it tells me to close the following programmes: after effects, adobe dynamic link manager and adobe media core.
How do i close the last 2??You can also restart your computer to make sure that everything has been quite that needs to be. Restarting before and after installing major software is a good idea in general, anyway.
