After Effects CC (2014) is unable to start: 1956 GPUManager 2 Sniffer Result Code: 3

I´ve just installed the Test Version of After Effects CC (2014) and when i´m starting it there is an error message: "After Effects Error: Crash during processing. Last protocolled report: <1956> <GPUManager> <2> Sniffer Result Code: 3". Now I´m only able able to click OK.
Informations:
System: Windows 7 Ultimate (64 Bit)
Processor: Intel Core i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
RAM: 8,00 GB (7.66 GB useable)
Graphics Card: Intel HD Graphics 4600
What should I do now???

After effects cc 2014 crashes at start

i downloaded the free trial of after effects cc 2014 and when i start it it gives me this error
it says "error, last message recorded"
"unable to continue, after effects has been an unexpectedly shut down"
since it may be related with the gpu i have a gtx 970 asus strix. From another pc with the same specs i can run it flawlessly

Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details like the actual system crash log, not this meaningless Adobe stuff.

Windows 8.1 (absolutely nothing to do with the problem)
Quicktime version 7,7,5 (absolutely nothing to do with the problem)
After Effects CC 2014.0
Unable to export media with h264 codec of the same quality as in After Effects CS6,
Media Encoder CC 2014.0 - h264 - worse quality, twice the size of the file
Quicktime - h264 - much lower quality, much larger - about 6x - unusable

Thank you I learned that it is dependent on the setting. After twenty years of working with AE, it is refreshing to me. I recommend you try the settings before you answer and you will see that the original h264 codec, which was removed from After Effects, had at the same file size much higher quality. Full HD 50p has MediaCoder twice the size of a qucktime h264 is unusable. If you say that the same results can edit the settings, please publish here the settings for full HD 50p. (for sure 50 frames per second 1920x1080 px) After the recent modifications indeed degraded to a tool for Youtube, but before that it was a professional tool for video post-production. Please, therefore the publication of setting the same quality as it was before deleting AE h264 codec.

Having issues trying to update After Effects 2014 as mentioned in the title.

You have a version conflict with the mochaAE folder in there. Run the cleaner tool and start from scratch.

After Effects CC 2014 unexpectedly quits on launch each time on Mac Yosemite

Anyone experiencing this problem and have a fix?
I have a mac running Yosemite. I am unable to open After Effect CC 2014.
When I try to launch it the error message pops up "Adobe After Effects CC 2014 unexpectedly quit".
Every time i try to reopen - same message.
If anyone has a fix for this it would be greatly appreciated. I've checked permissions etc but doesn't help.

I know you already said you checked permissions, but I've often seen people only check one area and not the ENTIRE folder structure: fixing permissions problem that impedes start of Adobe applications
Please triple-check everything that link suggests.

Bridge CC no compatible with the new After Effects CC 2014 ?

Hi, I'm updating the Adobe suite (CC 2014) .but After Effects CC 2014 no longer works with the old Bridge CC (there is no update of Bridge). Since "browse presets" in After Effects when choosing a preset (dissolves etc) there is an error message:
"After Effects error: can not import file" Entries lum.-marq.calque.ffx "unsupportedfiletype or extension (0 :: 1). With all presets.
I tried on other computers with other adobe updated it makes such licenses except with the old version of adobe after effects (after CC effects) I tried too to change language of Bridge and After effects (beharps this is a langage compatibility problem) but the problem is the same.
So I think the new version after effects CC 2014 is not compatible with the presets adobe bridge CC ??
How can I do? I have to go through the old version of after to apply a preset Bridge? I can not even download it in cloud creativ ... there is only the new version of after effects...

After Effects CC 2014 crashing on startup

I downloaded the trial version of After Effects. By downloading it, it activated a 30-day trial. However, every time I try to start up the program, it gives me an error and crashes. I read on the forums issues about fonts and OpenGL, but it doesn't even give me detailed information on the crash. Anybody able to give me a bit of an assist on this? I use Adobe Design and Web Premium CS6 on my PC. I primarily use Sony Vegas for my video work, however I was sent a file on AE and rather than get in contact with the client to have them resend it in .veg, I figured I could download the trial and open it there. No such luck. I've finished the work, but now this AE issue is just bugging me. I am interested in trying it, but if I can't get into the trial, it really curbs my interest in the program.
What exact version of After Effects? Include the minor version number---e.g., After Effects CC (12.2.1) or After Effects CS6 (11.0.4). Do not just say "After Effects with the latest updates" or "After Effects CC"; give the specific version number.

Do you have Service Pack 1 for Windows 7? It's listed in the system requirements for CC 2014. If you don't have SP1, AE won't run.
That GPU sniffer error message is usually what happens. This should be a simple fix! Of course, you should always take the normal precautions when updating an OS, but still...

Why does "Adobe After Effects CC 2014 Quit Unexpectedly" on launch?

I'm currently on a 2012 MacPro OS X 10.9.5 with 2x2.66 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon Processor, 24 GB DDR3.
I uninstalled CS5 in order to download and install Adobe's Creative Cloud suite. I was able to get Photoshop up and running, but I cannot get After Effects to run. Every time I try to open it, I get the message:
"Adobe After Effects CC 2014 quit unexpectedly." So, I uninstalled it, and tried re-downloading it and restarting my machine. Same result.
So, please take a look at my Problem Report below and let me know if you can see any possible solution to this problem. Thanks for any possible help!

Problem importing .vpe into After Effects CC 2014

I am having Issues importing .vpe files exported from Photoshop CC 2014 (2014.1.0 - most recent update to date) into After Effects CC 2014 (13.0.2.3 - latest update to date) on Mac OSX Mavericks 10.9.4. After a (lengthy) couple of chats to Adobe customer support I was advised to update both programs to fix my original issue outlined in this thread VPE issue and this has half way fixed my issues (The export from Photoshop now works properly).
The problem I have now is that when importing the .vpe file to After Effects I get an error:
"Unable to execute script at line 107. Function newLayer.transform[sel].setValue is undefined".
The process creates a composition and a folder which is meant to contain the .png's. Inside the composition, the one imported .png is present, but no parent or camera layers.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Is the bug present on Windows? Does anyone know if this will be fixed in the update forthcoming? It isn't listed as one of the stand out bug fixes.

We're getting kinda tired of the Beta nature of the CC suite here in my department at work. Our internet speeds are currently not great and so having to download so many updates is a bit of an issue. Is there any other way to download updates remotely? That is to say on a different machine than the install of After Effects? Could I perhaps download update files at home, put them on a USB drive and bring them in?

Why is RAM preview crashing my After Effects CC 2014?

I'm getting numerous crashes when using the RAM Preview.
Until my current project started getting more complicated all was good - no crashes. As I've added more assets to it, it's become very unstable.
When I click the RAM Preview button it'll either crash immediately, or succeed. If it actually starts, it's fine. But more often than not it just crashes the whole program immediately.
How do I solve this?
Is there a checklist I can use to check for possible issues?

Right, right. Vague info I know, but I was hoping for a checklist of common culprits I could eliminate one by one. Very new to the world of video.
I'm running:
Windows 7 x64
Intel i7-3770K CPU @ 3.5GHz
32GB RAM
GeForce GTX 780
Doing a 720p project, but using mainly 1080p footage.
Video files used are .MP4 and .MTS format.
Using various effects. Mostly simple stuff.
Plenty of sound effects and music as well. All .WAV format. No MP3's (I heard AE hates MP3 format).
I don't get any crash info. The entire program freezes until I kill it manually.

After Effects CC 2014 - Crash on launch

At first - I've read all topics with that problem , and it doesn't work correctly.
I bought After Effects as Single Application yesterday. And I'm very sad, because of this problem. Can anyone help me?
I've tried this - CC Applications crash immediately after launch . It did not make any difference.
I can see the work space of After Effects at start for a slit second before crash. And then my window are makins smaller with crash. But it doesn't save any crash logs. I tried to fix it.
I've reinstalled program something about 5-6 times. I used Cleaner Tool too...

What exact version of After Effects? Include the minor version number---e.g., After Effects CC (12.2.1) or After Effects CS6 (11.0.4). Do not just say "After Effects with the latest updates" or "After Effects CC"; give the specific version number.
Have you installed the recent updates? (If not, you should. They fix a lot of problems.)
What operating system? This should include specific minor version numbers, like "Mac OSX v10.6.8"---not just "Mac".
If you are getting error message(s), what is the full text of the error message(s)?
What were you doing when the problem occurred? What is the exact sequence of steps that you are taking?
Has this ever worked before? If this worked before by doesn't work now, what has changed on your computer in the intervening time?
Tell us about your computer hardware. Include CPU type and number of processor cores, amount of RAM installed, GPU, number and sizes of connected monitors, number of disk drives, and how any external drives are connected.
What versions of drivers for your graphics hardware do you have installed (including CUDA driver and driver for display adapter)?
Do you have any third-party I/O hardware (e.g., AJA, Matrox, Blackmagic, MOTU)?
What kind(s) of source footage? When telling about your source footage, tell us about the codecs, not just the container types. For example, "H.264 in a .mov container", not just "QuickTime".
Do you have QuickTime installed. (You should.) If so, what version? The answer should be specific, such as "QuickTime 7.6.2".
What other software are you running?
Do you have any third-party effects or codecs installed?
Are you using OpenGL features in After Effects?
Does the problem only happen with your final output, RAM preview, or both?
Are you using Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously multiprocessing?
Are you using the ray-traced 3D renderer?
If the problem is with output, give your exact output settings (both render setting and output module settings). Screenshots help.

I'm running skype/chrome like other software.
I'm using OpenGL.
I'm not using Ray Traced 3D,( because my After Effect don't work correctly).
I think that's enough.

When i start Adobe Effects CC 2014 crash with follow error:
