After Effects:CC, Shift+F9 stopped working, and Browse Presets does nothing
While working with my Easy Ease, the SHIFT+F9 just no longer works or hasn't since installation. SHIFT+CTRL+F9, or F9 work as intended.
(I checked the pref text file for my keyboard short cuts and SHIFT+F9 is assigned correctly)
Now when I create a preset then wish to view or browse my presets I click Animation > Browse Preset, and nothing happens.
(Made a shortcut to my preset folder)
Windows Enterprise 7 X64, 8gb ram.
In CC you have to install Bridge separately. That will fix the browse presets problem.
The answer to your other question is down about 3 or 4 topics in this forum.

After Effects Rendering Queue has Stopped Working

Just yesterday, I was having a blast creating some shine-through text animations in After Effects. Today, while working on a new project, the Render Queue just hangs when I try to render my project. Is there any way to fix this?

David.My render details are simple enough - HD 1080, AVI, "lossless with alpha". My system is handling the work just fine, after my recent upgrade. But everything was same-same from the project just yesterday. The difference was that, today, when I clicked "render" after queuing the project, it just sat there until I finally gave up. And the project was a simple opacity change of some text.
I haven't rebooted. Should have tried that first. At present, I'm re-installing. Once re-installed, I'll reboot as well, of course - and then let you know.

Good morning...all of a sudden my email stopped working and the screen displayed nothing at all.
I tried to log out but it said to try again quit mail and choose log out from the apple menu. I went to quit mail but it was faded out and I could not click on it. I then went to the task bar at the bottom and tried to click on mail but nothing happened. I also turned off my computer and turned it back on again, email still not available. This just seems to be on my iMac. I am receiving email messages on my iPhone and iPad. Oh, Safari still works on my iMac!!
Help.....You've left out some very basic information: iMac model and Mac OS version.
There are four broad familues of iMac going back to 1998, and they have different troubeshooting procedures. Please do "About this Mac" from your Apple menu to see your OSX version, While there tell what the same window says for "Processor." That will at least narrow your model to its family. -
Satellite A105 Shift Keys stop working after BIOS update
I have a stack of laptop boards from the A105 series (Intel chipset) that I received with bad BIOS's. Two worked, and I updated the BIOS's on them to fix CPU compatibility issues. After that, the shift keys stopped working, and pressing Shift-A causes the power light to dim. Reverting to ANY previous version BIOS, whether through the Windows program, CD, or Crisis Recovery floppy (magic key is "F", not "B", "Esc", or "U"), does not fix the keyboard problem.
To make things more confusing, I did notice that the one single BIOS that seems to actually correct the problem is version 1.50, which I haven't seen available for any Tecra A7 or Satellite A100/A105, except a couple A100's, but the BIOS file is much too small and can't be loaded.
Does anyone have any idea why these Intel-based boards are doing this? Or does anyone know where I can get a usable version 1.50 BIOS?
For the sake of this post, please consider my skill level to be high. (In other words, I would be thankful for people trying to help with "Replace the keyboard", but I have about a dozen keyboards, all of which I have tried, and all of which work on other laptops. Additionally, if you have just a theoretical solution, I'm definitely open to hearing it. Also, if a Toshiba tech would like to reply, I would very much appreciate it!)Hi, thank you for your help.
Some motherboards were not in chassis when I got them. Is there a place the PSAAxx model number would be written on the boards?
Four PSAA8U (Two A105-S4334 and Two A105-S4014) - Intel Chipset, fingerprint reader. Tried BIOS Versions 1.40, 1.70, 2.00, 5.10, 5.60, 5.90, and 6.00. Shift keys do not work on either one.
Two PSAA2U (A105-S2091 and A105-S2031) - ATi Chipset. BIOS versions 1.50, 1.80, and 2.30. Keyboard works.
Another PSAA8U (A105-S4184) - Intel Chipset, no fingerprint reader. BIOS version 6.00. Keyboard works.
I noticed that so far all of the models with fingerprint readers have the problem. All of the ATi Chipset boards are working fine, but they have significant processor limits. I am in the middle of updating the BIOS in another Intel one using a Crisis Rescue Disc, so after that finishes I will try disconnecting the fingerprint reader to see if it has an effect.
I don't think the keyboard controller is faulty, because these boards all failed on the same day. I have tried updating the BIOS using WinPhlash, Phlash16 in DOS, the install CD, and a Crisis Recovery Disk. I set the defaults in the BIOS almost every time, and I also have tried holding the power button for 60 seconds with the power cord unplugged and the battery removed (as some people have suggested.)
The shift keys don't work in DOS, Linux, Windows, or even in the BIOS. I test it in the BIOS by using Tab to cycle through the fields in time of day, then Shift-Tab to cycle backwards. This works with a USB keyboard, and it also works on the ATi chipset models and the Intel chipset models that are still working.

I unplugged my iPod Classic without ejecting it first. It played for many hours(about 8) after that but then suddenly stopped working and it has a blackend screen that seems to say paused. Wondering if there is a way to get it to work again.

Photos/videos in the Camera Roll are not synced. Photos/videos in the Camera Roll are not touched with the iTunes sync process. Photos/videos in the Camera Roll can be imported by your computer which is not handled by iTunes. Most importing software includes an option to delete the photos/videos from the Camera Roll after the import process is complete. If is my understanding that some Windows import software supports importing photos from the Camera Roll, but not videos. Regardless, the import software should not delete the photos/videos from the Camera Roll unless you set the app to do so.
Photos/videos in the Camera Roll are included with your iPhone's backup. If you synced your iPhone with iTunes before the videos on the Camera Roll went missing and you haven't synced your iPhone with iTunes since they went missing, you can try restoring the iPhone with iTunes from the iPhone's backup. Don't sync the iPhone with iTunes again and decline the prompt to update the iPhone's backup after selecting Restore. -
After a tryout with AdBlock, the videos on Facebook, on BBC and on some others websites stopped working and there's always a message asking me to install the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player. Even though it's already installed the situation remains the same since the last month.
Can I fix that just doing the upgrade for the Yosemite?Well, after hours of trying to figure it out I gave up and un-installed and re-installed that last verion of Adobe Flash Player and now it seems I can play games again in Messenger. Everything else had been fine just that. I can only figure it was because it was having a hard time updating the first time and took me 3 tries. So even though it said it was installed, apparently it wasn't done correctly.
Though when I couldn't figure out what was wrong at first I looked and checked to see all the things were enabled that were supposed to be and they were.
I even tried to go to the Adobe site and download the last version I had and couldn't find it. Kept coming up with the new version. Others said if you download a particular older version it may not have all the security features in it.
This really gets to be a bit much, especially when you're by yourself and have only a smattering of knowledge of technical things.

my return and shift key stopping working. It wont go to the next line or function as an enter.
Now, most of the time it wont do anything but if you push it several times it will type a 0p or /- or control volume the instead. I checked the keyboard setting and voicecontrol and reset it to default and updated software for system but no resolve. How do I fix this?Hi -- I have this problem too. no luck with any of it. Could we please have some advice targetted at the specific problem of nonfunctional shift and return keys on a MacBook Air?
In the meantime I'm using only the left-side shift and have downloaded and installed KeyRemap4MacBook and remapped my backslash key so it issues the "return" command. A clunky work around but it seems to do the trick, at least. -
after a few uses, the program will not load, the only way to fix it is to completely uninstall the CS suite wipe the drive and reinstall the software, then after a few uses it stops working, how do i fix this?
Not sure of an answer to your basic question, but it may be that you can run a repair (on Windows --> Control Panel>Programs & Features and run the repair on Acrobat). If that fixes the issue, at least temporarily, at least you will not be reinstalling everything -- a real pain.
Next, open Acrobat and go to the Help to run the updates and be sure you are current. On some OSs, the updates are critical. -
Elements 10 was deactivated on desktop and installed on new laptop. Have on
y used it for photo editing until yesterday. Created a slide show with music but every time I try to burn to cd or move it to hard drive after about 15 sec, it says windows has encountered a problem with this program and must shut down.
I Also can't sign in to adobe with the program. It simply spins and I had to force close the program.
help!?I am using photoshop Elements 10 under the create tab...slide show.
Used it on my desktop several times. Deactivated it and installed on new lap top about 5 months ago. Had not used it other than for photo editing until today.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
