After Effects CS6 fails to render and I dont know why?

I'm fairly new with After Effects and my problem is that when I am trying to render my movie, it fails to render at the exact same point every time. The point where it fails is when my 1st video is transitioning to my 2nd video in the movie. And when I try to RAM preview my movie, it wont render parts where one video transitions to another video. Earlier today there was an error coming up saying that frames could not render simultaneously and that I needed to fix my multiprocessing settings. You're launching the render engine and not the full version of AE. Make sure you're selecting the right app to launch. And if you're super-sure that your shortcut or whatever you're clicking on is the one to launch the full version, make sure you don't have the render engine txt file somewhere you don't want it.
A blank file named ae_render_only_node.txt in one of the following locations (depending on the user account type) will result in AE launching the render engine only:
Mac OS: /Users/[username]/Documents/ /Users/Shared/Adobe/
Windows: C:Users/[username]/My Documents C:Users/Public/Public Documents/Adobe
Also, since this is immediately after updating Mac OSX, you're probably going to need to fix permissions: fixing permissions problem that impedes start of Adobe applications

When Time Machine backs up a portable Mac, some of the free space will be used to make local snapshots, which are backup copies of recently deleted files. The space occupied by local snapshots is reported as available by the Finder, and should be considered as such. In the Storage display of System Information, local snapshots are shown as Backups. The snapshots are automatically deleted when they expire or when free space falls below a certain level. You ordinarily don't need to, and should not, delete local snapshots yourself. If you followed bad advice to disable local snapshots by running a shell command, you may have ended up with a lot of data in the Other category. Ask for instructions in that case.

Either:
iTunes is trying to protect you from the ugly side of the adult world
Your parents are trying to protect you from the ugly side of the adult world
You've turned on the Parental/Content Restrictions by mistake
Look in iTunes at Edit/Preferences/Parental>Content Restrictions>Restrict explicit content and make sure the tick is not in the checkbox.

That would be it. Sometimes you can tweak the album & artist names enough for iTunes to download matching art from the store, or you could add a bonus track featuring 1 second of silence and attach artwork to that, or you could convert the files to Apple Lossless.

What Mac do you have?

Same with me nothing has changed. However what reduces it for me is if you change your battery settings to high performance. But it still does it, you will just find it will do it less.

What happens when you try to reset it? Have you gone to Settings/General/Reset on the phone and tapped Erase all content and settings?

After Effects CS6 super long render times.

I am trying to render multiple 30 second long compositions and the renders are reaching over 5 hours each. There is nothing special in any of the compositions. I have rendered these same compositions in the past with minor changes in AE CS5 and they finished in seconds using the Open GL renderer. I understand CS6 uses a different engine for rendering. I have ensured my video card is in the supported list (added it), and ray tracing is set to the GPU. I triple checked all the drivers and everything is up to date. I have tried every combination of settings I can think of with no results. Help!
System Specs:
i7-3930K
GTX 770
32gb ram
Windows 7 64bit

Five hours is not an unusual render time for a 30-second composition, depending on the details of the composition.
