After Effects Error message @ Startup, NEW Macbook NEED HELP

So I'm working with a Macbook Pro Retina Mid 2012, I just bought it,
Processor 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB
Software OS X 10.8.2
Installed the most up to date CUDA Mac Driver: CUDA 5.0.37 driver for MAC
After Effects was running fine -no errors at startup - when I didn't have the GPU CUDA enabled.
I found out that the NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB, is CUDA Enabled
So, I installed the CUDA 5.0.37 driver for MAC
I opened Terminal and ran a GPUSniffer to get the name of the Graphics card
I opened another window in terminal and ran a "sudo nano" command that listed the default supported Cards, I pasted my card name.
NOW I can choose GPU instead of CPU for Ray-tracing, WHICH IS GOOD, Its what I was trying to do. BUT something is still wrong because I keep getting an error message at startup: "After Effects error: Ray-traced 3D: Initial shader compile failed. (5070 :: 0)"
I DIDNT GET THIS ERROR BEFORE I INSTALLED & ENABLED "CUDA GPU"..............What is wrong?

Don't manually manipulate that text file. That is unsupported, and you are on your own if you do so.
What you should have done is to install the 11.0.2 update to add the GPU acceleration of the ray-traced 3D renderer for your 650M:

After Effects error message

Adobe After Effects CS 6 when opening project files it gives the error message that it can't open a document file, this happens even with downloaded template files or previous project files. I've tried updating everything uninstalling and reinstalling software is there some way to fix this.

Ah, sorry about that, this problems got me going crazy trying to figure it out. Heres some info, I store them ( the proj. file I'm working in) on my mac until im done with them, if I use video or audio its from a ext HD. I am running osX with an 2.6 i7 core and 8 gb of 1600 MHz DDR3 ram, Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB. Thanks again!

After Effects Error messages DF015, DF037,DW063 when installing

My After Effects CS6 folder was deleted and when I try to reinstall After Effects I get these error messages. The install gets to 99% and then fails.

I ran the cs cleaner tool and fixed the problem.

ERROR MESSAGE HOW TO FIX need help

Following are the messages I got after instal CS6 Design Standard.
DF013 Failed to delete plist path at /library/Launchdaemons/com.adobe.switchboard.plist seq 20
DW063 Another long failed message
DW050 Payload errors during instrall
DW050 adobe switchboard 2.0 instal failed
DW050 Adobe minibridge failed instal
What can I do to repair / fix the issue.
APPARENTLY CUSTOMER CALL BACK FROM ADOBE DONT REALLY CALL YOU BACK. Wish I knew how to get thru to these people that ignore your request for help afteral its our money that gives them a job.

Lee747 there is not much actionable in your current post. I would recommend you begin with reviewing the installation logs. Getting error message... Need help now..

I was using my powerbook g3 and all of a sudden i get a message pop up on the screen. It says: you need to restart your computer. Hold down the power button for several seconds or press the restart button.
I held down the power button for several seconds numerous times and it did nothing.
Then i pushed control-command-power buttons at same time and the computer restarts, just to the same spot, with the same message.
I even found the manual restart button on the back and got the same result.
Please help me. How do i get rid of this message and use my computer again? I have 3 sports pages to get done this weekend. I need my laptop to work.
I am running os 10.3.9
there is also a 9.2 os on computer as well.
Please help!!!!!

You are likely experiencing what is called a kernel panic. These may be either hardware or software based. To shut down the computer hold down the Power button for about five seconds. You will find more about KPs and troubleshooting information in Dr. Smoke's FAQ Resolving Kernel Panics. If you are able to locate the crash log, please post the last one, as that may be helpful in pinpointing the cause of the issue.

Error 150:30 at start after miragtion from old to new macbook

My elements 8.0 did not longer start. Is terminates with error 150:30 . The adobe support could not me in this case. Hope somebody could help me.

thanks for your help. You may right that Adobe Photoshop is not a tidy programm. But it is the only of my applications that make problems after using the MA. Anf for what the MA ist made for?
But i still have a question. Is this cc-cleaner as well working for Photoshop Elements 8.0? I tried the link but at the second step "Uninstall Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications" I do not find at the Application folder the Utitily folder.

How did you migrate? Unless you cloned over a complete system you just made a bunch more trouble for yourself. You can never, never migrate PSE with the migration assistant. PSE is not a tidy package app in accordance with the apple developer guidelines. It strews stuff all over your hard drive and puts things in places the MA isn't programmed to look. Now you will have a lot of manual cleaning up to do. You must always reinstall PSE from scratch.
First download and run this:

Then you can manually remove the bits that got copied over. You can't use spotlight to help with this; it's programmed to ignore these kinds of files. In addition to what's in the applications folder, you will need to go to the library at the top level of your hard drive>Application Support>Adobe and remove anything in there, as well as your username>library>preferences. Then you can reinstall from your original media.

I am stumped - I am trying to open a recent Pages file (created with a newer software that I thought was correctly installed recently) but error message says that I need a "newer version" of Pages. My software updates show that there are no updates available. Pages 09 version 4.3 shows as my current version.

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5/5.01 can not open Pages 5.1 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.1 sometimes can not open its own files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has not only managed to confuse all its users, but also itself.
Note: Apple has removed over 95 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

i7-980x, Win 7 64, 16 gb RAM
I STILL get the "After Effects error: RAM Preview needs 2 or more frames for playback" and max allowed memory of 0.4, despite max usable memory listed as 15.99. Sometimes if I run Premiere Pro, PS, AI, 3-4 QT movies and 5 or six other programs simultaneously, after effects will recognize Premiere Pro and allopw me 5-6 gigs active memory, but this can take an hour or two and is hit and miss.
VERY FRUSTRATED here.
This happens with and without the firewall turned on.

I get this error message when I accidentaly move my CTI (Current Time Indicator) to the end of the composition. If besides also the option "From current time" in the preview panel is checked, After Effects will see that I just marked less than 2 frames namely 1 (from the end frame of my comp to this end frame).
Check therefore where your CTI is positioned!
Also you could have the same problem, if this option "From current time" is not checked, but you have your work areas in- and out-points closer than 2 frames together.
So condensed: Check your CTI and your work area and set the CTI on a previous frame or let your work area start earlier.
