Does any one know how to correct this problem. I can not import images into After effects.

Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details like what Targa files you are trying to load and if otehr formats actualyl work.

Based on the extremely limited amount of information in your post (you haven't even told us what operating system your computer has), I would say yes. That seems like a reasonable step.

I know that the code is for AS3 but I cant switch to AS3 atm and I need the same code, but for AS2. So, can anyone convert this for me? By the way, this is supposed to be a preloader and I am putting this on the 1st frame. I have so extensions (.as), just the .fla file.
Also, I am using the newest Flash, Adobe Flash CS6.

Just search Google for an AS2 preloader tutorial instead of trying to convert AS3 to AS2.

Email error message reads: a required resource could not be loaded...

I cannot load email from excite.com email account on my laptop iBook G4 with Tiger OS X10.4 with
512 MB DDR SDRAM. It will start showing 0 or 5 % loaded, then freeze, and the above error message appears after a while. I can access this same excite.com email account on my iMac. I have updated
apps today before trying to access my account online. I have no other account and do not wish to establish any other.

Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, how much Memory free & Hard Disk space does it show?

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move these folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...

Move this file to the Desktop...

Reboot.

Can't render: after effects error: internal verification failure. What can I do?

I need to render a comp (h.264 default settings) and the process is stopped with the following error: "after effects error: internal verification failure, sorry! {could not find itemframe we just now checked in}".
What can I do? I have already tryed to re-start Ae several times. The render stops at random points, when started again. The comp is very simple: a mp4 movie background, still PNG pictures one after another with opacity and 1 mask keyframed and write-on texts at their side, explaining the pictures. Thank you in advance for any help.

After Effects works on a pixel-by-pixel basis. After Effects is not like video editing programs - they just deal with a video stream - in After Effects, each frame is fully uncompressed.
MP4's use interframe compression. That means that they only have a complete frame every once in a while and the rest are filled in using a variety of methods including motion estimation. Depending on the compression settings, a video with interframe compression often won't have a complete frame for a few seconds. That means that, out of every 90 frames or so, only one of those frames actually contains full pixel data for the entire frame (and that frame is usually somewhat compressed using intraframe compression [like a JPEG]). After Effects has to decode a lot of crap and translate it into full-frame, full pixel information before it can even begin to process it.
After Effects is much better with it now than it used to be. CS4 and earlier used to struggle with it bad. Each version since has improved handling of such things. Also, each version implements ways of handling newer versions of codecs. Keep in mind, version 11 (CS6) was written before a lot of modern cameras were even built. The current version (13.2) probably would not have had the issue you did.

AE error: "Plugin could not be loaded"

Hi there everybody,
I'm having an issue when trying to run Video Copilot's Element 3D v2 plugin. I'm currently engaged with their tech support team to try and resolve the issue but, at their suggestion, I'm throwing it up here as well in case anyone else has come across the same issue.
Issue:
Element installer appears to run fine. When applying the effect to a layer I get the following error - "After Effects error: plug-in "Element.aex" could not be loaded (126). (48::46)"
Specs:
AMD FX-8370 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
32 Gig RAM
Windows 7 Pro x64
So far I've tried:
Re-installing Element
Re-installing After Effects followed by re-installing Element
Rolling back to v1.6 of Element - this works

Issue resolved - it turned out to be a corrupt openCL.dll file. I replaced that file and everything works as expected now.

XMII WebService shows error as - SOAP Service could not be loaded: null

After creating the WSDL file from the scenario, I stored it in the xMII server path D:XISendere10099xMII_integration_1_Outbound_MI.wsdl. Then in the WebService action block of xMII BLT, I gave the URL as this file path, user name and password of XI server and click Next. Then I got the error message as SOAP Service could not be loaded: null.
   Please give the solution for this issue.

   Actually I checked those things already. Everything is fine. I executed already HTTP <-> XI <-> xMII scenario and it was working fine. I checked with SendSMS.wsdl file now. That is also working fine. I am attaching the WSDL file, which I am using, for reference. This file is working fine in SOAPSonar and data posted in SAP R/3 table. But it is showing the error in xMII as "SOAP Service could not be loaded: null".

ASIO Driver could not be loaded Error CS3

Hi,
Today, i have installed my Production premium CS3 on my MacBook Pro (Macbookpro 2,2) This Macbook is already 3 years old. Previously my production premium was installed on my iMac (iMac5,1). On my iMac everything worked perfect.
But on my Macbook Pro i can't open premiere pro because of this error:
'The previously selected ASIO driver could not be loaded, and may be in use by another application. The default ASIO driver is now in use"
After this error, premiere gets another fatal error and shuts down.
I already had find a solution but i can't perform it because premiere keeps shutting down before i can do something in the preferences.
Because i know it is something with sound i tested Soundbooth. But soundbooth also keeps shutting down...
Please help me, i need this software for school.
If you need any other information, please say it and i will give it to you.

I am having similar problems on the Mac computers in our lab. I have found that the error does not appear in administrator accounts only on the standard user accounts. That makes me think that maybe Premiere might be looking at some file that my users accounts don't have acces to. It is a fresh install of CS3 onto OSX 10.6.2 What files is Premiere looking at when its trying to load the ASIO driver? Any help would be appreciated. At this point making the standard user administrators is not an option.

My name is Tyler and i'm a Mult-Media Editor in training. Just recently meaning just this project i've been getting this error "After Effects error: crash occurred while invoking effect plug-in “Looks”." every time i try to render. If i try to remove the clip where it messes up and replace it with another it will just mess up in another spot.

I've read other forums and watched tutorials. I've already done the following. (Not in order used)
1. Downgrade Magic Bullet Looks from 1.4.3 to 1.4.2 (Didn't Work)
2. Upgrade Magic Bullet Looks to MBL 2.0 from Magic Bullet Suite 11 (Didn't Work)
3. Uninstall my gfx card and re-install it with the newer version (Didn't Work)
4. Reset AE preferences by pressing alt+shift+ctrl on the shortcut (Didn't Work)
5. Change render settings from H.264 -> .AVI (Didn't Work)
6. I've deleted "AE_OpenGL" from my After Effects folder (Didn't Work)

I've never had this problem before and hope that someone has a solution to this problem... if so please post an answer. I don't know if its because i put the plug in on all of my clips and then made an adjustment layer with another Magic Bullet Looks or if it's my clips fault but i just dont know what to do.

It sounds like Looks is only crashing on this project. If that is so then it's most likely a problem with one of your video clips. Either there's a corrupted frame or some other codec glitch that's throwing the errors. I'd suggest replacing footage items with temporary footage. You could even use solids. Replace one at a time, then undo, until you find the footage that's causing the crash. Then either re-compress that footage to another codec or replace it.
If Looks is crashing on every type of footage then you need to pursue other options that are more system related.

   I made up a bat file with 8 commands like" afterfx -m -r ...." .
   It will startup 8 AEs and render my work. But when I double the commands with starting 16 AEs,7-8 of them are carshed,says "crash occurred while invoking   effect plug-in"scripting" .
   And "After Effects error: Crash in progress. Last logged message was:<2312><ASL.ResourceUtils.GetLanguageIDFromRegistry><0>Unable to obtain the User 'Language' registry key at: Software\Adobe\After Effects\10.0\Defaulting to 'en_US'."
   I am confused for a few days. Need help here.

Good question, but I would suspect that the previous instances simply never correctly unload and/or parts of the auxiliary services like dynamiclinkmanager or qt32server remain active/ loaded, ultimately causing a conflicht or simpyl chewing up all your memory...

Since you seemed to miss it, I'll just directly give you the link provided on that thread, but I really recommend that you carefully read that thread about the issue that you're facing. It inlcudes information about conflicts with ATI drivers.

Hi, I was trying to following the Kramer's tutorial "The Ring" in AFx (http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/the_ring/), that involves the use of Trapcode Particular, and all went well..
Then I've customized it, not drawing a circle, but a square, and after a while AFx started to crash very frequently reporting this message:

this happens only when I work on the compositions with particular plug-in.
I'm working on my "old" iMac OSX version 10.4.11
2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 duo

I'm guessing that you're running out of RAM.
The system requirements state 2GB as a minimum (I know the page links to CS4, but it seems the CS3 one's aren't available).
Have you made sure to run all necessary updates?
I know you've been able to work with 1GB for awhile, but you've probably been pushing that envelope.
What are your comp specs (frame size, frame rate, etc...)?
Are you trying to view at full res, or lower?
Have you modified your RAM preferences?

I tried rendering the individual composite effected in the final comp, they were came out fine. Would anyone know under what circumstances would such message appear and how else can i troubleshoot. Please advice.

Well I only have version CS3, however I got the same error while trying to open Knoll Light Factory plug-in. I tried several times and it never worked. I searched and found a couple of 'fixes' but they didn't work (for me).
What did fix my problem, I looked inside the After Effects directory, specifically at C:\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS3\Support Files\(PCI)\Setup\... - inside this directory is the file 'Setup.exe'. This setup file is the Adobe After Effects Third Party Content Installer. I ran this setup file, after it finished doing it's thing, and without rebooting, I opened AE, loaded a project and went to Effects and the KLF plug-in. I chose it and it opened perfectly without any glitches or errors. I'm not saying it will work for everyone but it did for me. Not sure if there is any difference in versions as well, like I said, I'm using CS3. I have since rebooted a couple of times and no problems with AE or the plug-ins (fingers-crossed).
