What version of AE are you using (down to the last decimal)?
Did you say no Adobe software runs at all? Which software have you tried and what is the exact text of the error messages each one gives?
You might look into fixing permissions problem that impedes start of Adobe applications

Unable to open after effects: error code 15

I have been searching the forums and it looks like only mac users have had this problem, I am a windows 8 pro user and every time I want to open up after effects cs6, it keeps coming up with a message simply saying:
Configuration error
Please uninstall and reinstall the product
If this problem still occurs please contct adobe technical support and mention the error code shown at the bottom of the screen

Secondly, plz let me check your system.
1. Did you install the package of Adobe master collection or Creative Suite Production Premium, or each software separated in AE and Premiere?
2. Did you uninstall whole package about that ; if you have, including not only CS5 but also previous package or software was related with Adobe AE and Premiere like CS4, CS3?
3. Also check your any whole local folder like 10.0 folder or user application folder in document about Adobe not deleted by order "uninstall"
4. Then, after reboot, Just install only AE(or Premiere), Only one of Two! by clicking the content in the window of installing package of Adobe.
5. Does opening AE(or Premiere) is ok? -->I wholly believe it won't have any Problem. Just imagine that you got adobe software first.
6. Then, try to install the other.
7. If both AE and Premiere are that opening is good, you are able to install the others of your package.

Acrobat x pro crash after installation and running it, exit code 16,

I installed Adobe acrobat X pro 10.0 trial and every time after installation and running the software it give me the following error message
Please uninstall and re install the product, if the problem still occurs contact Adobe etc….

I uninstalled also the adobe reader but with no hope,

After Effects and Premiere dont start on a new Mac.

Heyho community,
one thing up front... my english is not the best, so please be patient if i dont understand everything straightaway.
my macbook is just a few weeks old, means i am a noob to mac osx.
i recently installed the adobe creative suite and photoshop, illustator and flash are working fine. but after effects and premiere wont start. i sse the starting window and then it breaks.
i guess that it has somwthing to do with admin rights, something like that i have read in some other forums.
my main account is admin and maybe i have to start the programs with root rights, but i dont have any idea how to do this.
anyway... if i am completly wrong with that admin-guess, tell me.
Another Thing that may help you finding some ideas for solving the problem.
if i directly start after effects in terminal, it shows inside terminal this error message:
error for object 0x122a2c1b0: pointer being freed was not allocated
And another thing... if i start the mac in save mode i can run both programs, but if i try it in normal mode againt they dont work.
Any suggestions?

I have reinstalled everything now, then running the cleanscript and repairung rights with the intsall dvd. now it still wont work. maybe this changelog out of the terminal will help you:

After Effects not working. It hangs before getting to the interface and I can't upgrade neither!

I juust bought adobe after effects for the creative cloud. I can't get it to work. I installed the Afx through the app manager and launch it and didn't work. It freezes. Then I though it was because I had a previous version trial installed in my computer. The Cs 5.5. I downloaded the Adobe cleaning software and cleaned the HD. Then I reinstalled everything and now stills not working and won't patch neither. What should I do?

Nobody can tell you anything without system information. The most common issues why the app won't launch are GPU issues or DynamicLink problems, but again, we really can't know without more details. Hi. I've tried every solution on adobe help pages and it still does'nt work. I don't know what else I can do. I'm despered please help. This is error code after 2% of installation:

Yes, I've read this before, but renaming folders was impossible cuz i've deleted all from Program Files/Adobe. But I've read this again after your reply and I realized that some files were in Common Files in folder Adobe. And that files were the problem because when I've deleted all of this, the installation was successful;) It took three days cuz adobe creative suite cleaner tool didn't delete this files. Thanks a lot!

Exit code 7 in After Effects CC installation

Recently I have had to change my hard disk which was in the partition "L". Now, I have to reinstall After Effects CC and in spite of setting the file allocation in "C", it gives me this error. Any solution? Thanks. I have Windows

Error Code: 34 Mac OSX 10.8.4 for Photoshop CC, Bridge CC, After Effects CC, and Flash CC

Hello,
So I am installing all the CC versions of the software and all but Photoshop, Bridge, After Effects, and Flash installed without a hitch. On those 4 programs I get the same error code: 34. I am able to install the CS6 variants of them without any problem and run it. Here is the error code:

I have been unable to fix this on my own and with what I've found online. I'll list what I have done so far to try to fix this issue. I have tried to use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool but the issue is since PS, BR, AE, and FL won't install I can't clean them to try a fresh install. I tried installing the CS6 versions to see if it would dowload the 'Camera Profiles Installer_8.1".
Any help on fixing this ASAP would be much appreciated!

Install error on adobe after effects cs6 (error code 15)

I have Windows 8 and when I try to install after effects cs6 it gives me an error message saying ,"Inconsistency in the installer database. Please restart your computer and install again." it has error code of 15. How do I fix this? I've already tried restarting and lots of different things. Please respond if you have the same problem or know the answer please.

Please help - frustrated to no end. Can someone help me?

make sure you're using the adobe cleaner, not crap cleaner, Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
copy the installation files to a desktop folder and install from there.
