After Effects will not install.

I belong to the "Creative Cloud," I have downloaded
Adobe After Effects CS6
Adobe Audition CS6
Adobe Bridge CS6
Adobe Encore CS6
Adobe Extension Manager CS6
Adobe Illustrator CS6
Adobe InDesign CS6
Adobe Media Encoder CS6
Adobe Photoshop CS6
Adobe Premiere Pro CS6
All operate fine, except for After Effects and Audition. I can pass on Audition, but I disparately need After Effects. It will not load. I use a Mac Pro, at 3 GHz, with 3.5 Terabyes of RAM. I have downloaded After Effects four time and the trial vesion once. I have gone through three of you technicians — one of them suggest loading and trying the trial version. That doesn't work either.
Every time I try to load After Effects, it doesn not load and I get the same error.
Is there any way to load AE or will I have to drop the Cloud and buy a hard copy?

After Effects will not install after being downloaded from the Adobe Cloud. I've run to Adobe Support Analyzer and cannot find any of the thing I should delete. I have the log file for you.

Help! After Effects will not install into my computer!

Hello, I have tried downloading and installing After effects CS6 countless times, through the download assistant and through the adobe application manager. It installs and all but before it finishes downloading into my computer it gives me an error. the error says this:

I have downloaded from the Cloud CS^ After Effects five times and the Trial version once according to suggestion from your Technicians. None of them will load. Can I leave the "Cloud" and order a DVD of the After Effects?

Update failed on After Effects CC. After Effects will not update!

After Effects CS4 not installing

If this isn't the place on the forum to post this please say so. Every thing was working until one day after effects started making my image sequences alot smaller than usual. I could find no help for this, so I restored my computer. After it got done restoring After Effects wasn't installed. I restored it to when it had been installed. This confused me so i tried to re-install it using the package that you download from the trials(I'm using the trial versions). It got to about 80% loaded(Not 80% installed, the installer was 80% open) it froze and wouldn't go any further. I had to use Ctrl Alt Delete to get it closed. I reinstalled the installer many times, but the same thing kept happening.Thanks for your help I can't figure out what's going on.

No, sorry, all wrong. First, let's get the obvious out of the way: You cannot extend the trial. With your incorrect attempts at "fixing" it, you have effectively ruined it completely. Even if you can revive it now, it will tell you that your trial period has expired and that is that, as they say. Only buying the full version will allow you to continue work. That aside, the only way to get it installed correctly once more would be to use the CS4 Clean Script from the support pages to wipe the installer database. This will make it look like there never even was an AE on the system, with the exception of the licensing system. When using it, you should also uninstall other Adobe software first. The script doesn't cover things like Adobe AIR, Acrobat.com etc., yet those can often be a cause for trouble during installs. Those tools have to be manually uninstalled to not get in the way. Well, anyway, as I said, this is most likely moot, regardless of your efforts...

Premier Pro, After Effects will not download, all other Apps available

Running Windows Vista, SP2, 32-bit, Mozilla Firefox latest updates.
At creative.adobe.com/apps, click on Pr or Ae "download." Neither download works.
The installation window for AAManager.exe pops up, ask to "Run" or cancel. Click on
"Run. It runs, initializes and AAM appears with 14 of 16 apps.
Installed a few Apps that are available. Prelude works fine after install. So, it appears to be App
specific.
Premier Pro and After Effects do not appear in AAM. Cannot install as a result.
Running a tight deadline. Appreciate help to quickly resolve this issue.
Zero error messages generated. Running CS Complete subscription service.

I would recommend reviewing Not all apps displayed for download | Creative Cloud desktop app which discusses the need for a 64-bit OS as well as meeting the system requirements in order to download and install applications. After Effects did not install with the rest of CS4

I purchased the Student Edition of CS4 Production Premium. When I ran the installer I selected "custom" and AE was unchecked and it would not let me check it. I did regular install and it did not install AE. I used all 4 discs in the box. Any thoughts?

After Effects will not RAM Preview in real time

Recently I have started working on a new project and can't work on it because my RAM Previews are not in real time anymore. I have only had this problem since I started this project a few days ago. Every other project I have done I've never had this problem before.
I have 10 GB of ram allocated to After Effects, my clips are in 59.94 fps which I have set the composition to as well. When I ram preview it tells me 50.019/59.94 I know what this mean, I understand it's telling me to change my composition's frame rate to 50 frames, however if I do this then music plays too slow. Right now my problem is that the clips aren't playing fast enough for me to see if my editing and time syncing is acurate. When I render the video everything is synced up fine but this is making my editing very inconvenient and I would like a fix please. I tried: Clearing my disk and media cache, unchecking "render multiple frames at once", taking off all effects on the clips, using different clips, AND even reinstalling After Effects CS6 but nothing has worked. I really badly need a fix to this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!!

You are misunderstanding the typical video workflow.
Composition setting are supposed to match the characteristics of the intended output, not necessarily the characteristics of the imported footage. This is how you ensure that what you preview exactly matches what you output and what your viewers will see. Consider, also, that most compositions use assets with many different frame rates, sizes, etc.

Great. But you're having a problem now. And it's because of a bottleneck somewhere between your RAM and drawing the pixels to the screen. One more reason that this might be happening is that you're running a GPU-heavy application; note that web browsers can also be GPU hogs these days.

After Effects will not download :'(

When I click on my after effects app this pops up every time! I have tried uninstalling and redownloading it, but every time it stays the same in my creative cloud & this is the only thing that will ever pop up. SOS please helppppp (I have a MacBook Pro with the latest software update)

You say that you can't download it, but then you show an error message that comes from starting the program, which indicates that you have downloaded it.
Why are you trying to use the After Effects CC (12.x) version? If you're trying to use the trial version, then you should be using the current version, After Effects CC 2014 (13.0).
If you are intent on using After Effects CC (12.x) on Mac OSX v10.9, then you must also install the update:

All of space(primary storage) is 499.07GB and l can use 391.3GB more.

After Effects will not register any sound files.

Problem - When ever i bring a sound file or any file that contains sound into AE, the sound is non existent.

As you can see, the wave file has no option to mute the file. I can not use the drop down arrow to view the wave length since the file is empty.
History - Just recently the computer i work on at my workplace was hit with a trojan and we had to do a reformat and install everything again.
Prior to this i had been working on numerous projects that ranged fro 15 secs to 2 mins.
All of these projects used .wav files for sound and in some cases a .mov was present in which i would simply hide the video and have the sound running.
I have tried using every sound or mov file that i had used in the past for projects that worked but the same result keeps appearing.

Updated : I opened a old project that had a .mov with sound in it and the sound icon was their to mute the .mov.

The actual situation has become more strange.
There is another computer that is exactly the same as the one i work on here at work.
It also has the same version of AE CS4 on it and has always worked fine.
Yesterday i was working on it while the other PC was being reformatted and the same problem is happening on it.
Our server at work which stores all our user profiles, client files and so forth went down about about 2 weeks ago and it seems like this might be the reason for AE playing up. Initially we ruled out the server being the cause since we never tested the 2nd computer.

After Effects will not run get a licensing error

Hello AE Helpers! Thanks to all for help in advance.
I've been using AE CS3 for a long time. Recently it will not start and I get the following:
"Licensing for this product has stopped working. You cannot use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by uninstalling and then reinstalling this product or contacting your IT administrator or Adobe customer support for help."
I contacted AE support, but am not getting help.
I can't uninstall the program - in Control Panel it only allows for reinstall/repair, not uninstall. Trying to repair with original install disk does not work.
This problem did happen a year or so ago. I was able to uninstall and reinstall, and that fixed it, but not this time.
Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it?
Is there another way to unistall AE so I can reinstall it?

Use the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, reinstall the program. Then uninstall it again, restart your system, and install again one last time. This convoluted process is required due to a bug in the licensing system.

After Effects will not open

I have a downloaded trial of After Effects CC and I'm only on day 4. I am half way through a project and have taken my laptop home to work over the weekend. When I try to open AE it just comes up with a message "Adobe After Effects CC 2014.1.1 has stopped working" and prompts me to close the program. It worked fine plugged in at work but not at home. I dont know if it's a coincindence or not? I have rebooted, but nothing. Funily enough the Media Encoder comes up with the same problem if I try that too. AArrgh!

After Effects will not snap to Desktop!!

AE will not snap to the screen anymore! Does anyone know how to fix this problem??

You've moved AE up in the corner of your desktop to the point where you can not see the top bar. Try dragging it to another desktop. If that doesn't work, shut AE down, reboot, and then launch AE again.

After Effects will not install.
