After effects wont install

I have a dell inspiron and after effects wont install. I had downloaded it before and it worked perfectly. But one day my computer had to reset itself causing me to re-download all my software. Everything downloaded perfectly except for my adobe softwares. Please help.

After Effects wont open error message

Hello.
My After effects wont open. I've read many forums and info that others have written about it not opening. Stuff about erasing fonts, deactivating fonts, then also, finding folders /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/CS4/MediaCore---> which was empty and had nothing to erase or do anything with http://forums.creativecow.net/thread/2/973961 ...Still nothing.

What exact version of After Effects? Include the minor version number (e.g., After Effects CS5.5 with the 10.5.1 update). Do not just say "After Effects with the latest updates"; give the specific version number.

It has worked for about 4 or 5 days. It was even working when i was doing the same action prior to the last time it stopped working. I was uploading a file from my other computers file. Which i had done many times throughout the day. As i work on one computer and when i have to leave and bring my laptop with me i do so. Because i work on my computer all day long. Desktop or laptop.
Do you have QuickTime installed. (You should.) If so, what version? The answer should be specific, such as "QuickTime 7.6.2".

Yes. I've since deleted them but i'm not sure where else to find the files if they're still around. ?

I have tried numerous times to download after effects but it just won't install. It says "Installation Failed". This is the error message I get.

I've uninstalled previous versions, and I don't know what to do now.

I originally had Adobe Photoshop Extended, then upgraded to the Production Suite. I ran the Adobe Cleaner, and that uninstalled most Adobe products, including my existing Adobe install, and then I re-installed everything with the same error code. Since CS4 came with CS5, I've installed AE CS4, but would really like to upgrade because I'm new to Creative Suite, and not sure how CS4 integrates with CS5...CS4 After Effects installed perfectly. I do have a 64 bit system, and installing to an OCZ Vertex 2....every other suite installs perfectly, except AE. And I think that is the coolest program in the Suite. I thank you all so much for taking the time to help, I really want to get AECS5 running...I did try to install after doing the recommended items Adobe suggests for Exit Codes 6 and 7, including turning off many startups...

I can't seem to get my after effects cc install past 90%. after I have waited for some time, i then press cancel and rather than going back to an 'install' button, it goes to a 'update' button. i click that and get error - U43M1D204

I had this exact same problem, and I didn't know what to do. However, I went into the menu to Force Quit Applications (Apple Menu, Force Quit...), and I noticed that Skype wasn't responding. I wondered why, and I force quitted it. Straight away, my update went to 97%, and after a short while, installed. I'm not sure if this is the case with your computer, or if you even have Skype, but this solution works for me.

Adobe After Effects Wont Open

The application wont open, even after the newest update was installed. It says "The application "Adobe After Effects CC" can't be opened. error 10810" How do I fix this?!?!

After Effects CS4 install on Win XP 64bit OS

I am trying to install the After Effects CS4 trial unto a Win XP 64bit OS. There was only one trial download available and figure that if there is a 64-bit trial versions, it would be packaged with this also.
The installer designates installation location as "C:/Program/Adobe" which is correct as this is the 64bit program folder location. However, it actually drops the application in "C:/Program Files/Adobe (x86)". Also when After Effects CS4 is ran, it shows up as a 32-bit app in the Windows Task Manager process list (labeled as "AfterFX.exe *32")
If possible, is there a way to get After Effects CS4 properly recognized as a 64bit app under XP64? I know this OS is not fully support per system requirements, but managed to install Photoshop CS4 as a 64bit app without issues.
Another thing that confuses me also is the After Effects CS4Readme/technote:

Does this mean After Effects CS4 is a 32-bit only app?

Thanks for the quick clarification. I figured since video is so memory intensive, After Effects and Premier Pro would naturally be the first apps in their lineup to receive full 64bit compatability. Seems Photoshop CS4 is the only full 64bit app in their productivity line up.

After Effects wont render video completely

Usually I am pretty good at solving problems, but for this issue, it seems that I cannot figure out why I can't fully render a composition. I've used After Effects for over 3 years and I've done tons of video work for clients.
The issue lies when I send my entire composition to the render queue. My export range is for the entire composition. But when I press render, it only renders 21 seconds and then stops completing the action of rendering.
I'm in Adobe CC 2014, if that makes enough of a difference to fixing my problem.
Can I get some help?

I just recently installed the newest version of After Effects and did a system reboot. I make it past 0:21:09, but the render stops at random points. The farthest it makes is to 0:52:03. It is a three minute long video. I get an status saying "Failed at (Timecode)".
This is the latest version of Adobe. I am operating under 10.8.5.
I don't understand why I am having these issues.
For it will stop at times before then, but, I honestly dont know the issue.

After effects trial install error

On the install of the evaluation version of "After Effects CS4" and after the "checking system profile" box is displayed, another dialog box with the error "Critical Errors were found in setup. Please see the setup log file for details." After clicking this box the install terminates. I can't find any setup log file to check what the error might report.
I am using a 32 bit system with Vista.
Any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it.

The logs are located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Installers. In any case, I'm sure this could be solved without the logs. Is there any other Adobe software on your system? If so, it may need to be uninstalled or at least "cleaned" using the CS4 Clean Script from the support pages. Also provide a few moire details about your computer. Maybe you are also running low on disk space or have a permission issue (Are you running as administrator?).

What version are you trying to download from where? If it involves using a browser you might want to try using a different browser. Have you checked the tech specs for After Effects to make sure you meet all of them with your machine?

Hi guys i am having an issue with CreativeCloud.
I am on PC
Everytime i try to install After Effect trial on CreativeCloud it keeps saying this error message : "Installation failed Errors encountered during installation.(34)" and i've tried alot of times and always the same error message. I also tryed using CreativeCloud cleaner tool but that didnt help at all.

Help! After effects wont operate properly!

After Effects was working fine until 2 days ago. There was an error that used to pop up as the program was loading that stated something about the media core cs5.5 stopped working. It would load up, but every click that I make in the program took about 10-15 seconds to execute. Now it doesn't give me the error when loading, but still doesn't function properly.
Running Windows 7 x64/ Intel i7 2.00ghz/ 8gb ram

As Dave said, we need a lot more info, especialyl regarding your graphics hardware and any CoDecs you may have installed. As a start, trash the prefs and flush any disk caches...
