after entering my user password it takes up to two minutes that the screen opens.
Help whats wrong?

Perhaps a login items issue.
Open System Preferences - Accounts then select the Login Items tab.
Delete all items by clicking then click -
If there's nothing listed there, go to /Library/Startup Items. Move any files in the Startup Items folder to the Trash.
Restart your Mac.

Launch the Console utility and look for messages that might explain the problem. Look for messages with a significant time gap between them. If you see such a thing but don't know how to interpret it, post the messages here and someone may be able to explain them.

Sorry you are having problems. First of all try Fifrefox's safemode.

If that works post back for further advice.
Next step, if safe mode did not work.
First: Try a clean install, (you have had a none standard version installed previously) that involves deleting the program files. Then if necessary try troubleshooting by creating and using a clean empty Firefox profile.

Uggh, it's so frustrating! I've googled every search phrase I can think of and this seems to be the only thread describing this exact issue. I'm always automatically logged into Facebook on my MBP but just to be sure I logged out and back in and it worked fine.
I gotta say, I wasn't a fan of the Droid I had preceding this iPhone, and from what I hear the iPhone app for FB is a thousand times better - not that I'd know personally because I can't log in!! - but I could always access my FB account on the droid. Just sayin...

SRM 7 logoff takes up to two minutes

We have installed a SRM 7 system in a sandbox-environment but when pressing the logoff button it can take up to two minutes for users to logoff, any ideas why?

Markus: System is quite good sized I would say, it´s not "slow" in other regards when using it. It´s a 64-bit system running Linux and MaxDB, it´s installed in a Vmware-environment running 4 CPUs and a lot of memory and system is idling. Disks are on a fast SAN. I don´t think this is hardware related.
How much memory have you assigned to the database (CacheSize)?
What are your database I/O times (DB50 - Task manager - press on the 'clock' button and switch on the DBanalyzer)
Any other ideas?
We had a basis consultant on-site a few weeks ago and he said, that he knows many customers switching back from VMWare environments for their production systems to bare metal for the frontend services (including BSP and WD-ABAP) because the rountrips created by the programs are, due to the nature of them, much slower. I can't comment on that because we don't run SAP systems under VMWare but it makes sense.

You may also want to reset your network settings:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Block Logo after entering password in MacBook Pro

I have MacBook Pro 13 inch, specification is -
i5 Processor
4 GB RAM
750 GB HD
Installed OS- Yosemite 10.10.2
Problem: I am facing a problem after startup login after entering correct Password, then is showing Block Logo on white background.
I am facing this block logo screen every time when i clean reinstall the OS.
Steps i have done:
1. i clean reinstall os 2-3 times
2. Reset the NVRAM
3. Start the os in safe mode
Please suggest me the solution.

Blank Screen after entering password

I seem to be encountering an intermittent issue when entering my password at logon.
I would enter the password and the little ‘busy’ circle would spin attempting log in but after a few seconds rather than seeing my desktop I just have a blank screen.
I can adjust the volume and hear the sound going up/down, but I cannot see anything.
If I restart or shut down the device, and then attempt to log in again sometimes the same issue happens or sometimes it logs into the desktop.
I have taken the device to an apple store for them to look into, disk diagnostics were performed and the OS X was re-installed but they then brought it down to a hardware issue without specifying which hardware.
I got a replacement MPB Retina however the problem still happens on that device pointing towards the OS X.
Is anyone else having this issue, have Apple recognised the problem and will there be a fix?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have a MacBook Pro that worked perfectly well on Snow Leopard. However since upgrading to Mountain Lion, and it's updates, I have experienced a number of problems, including grey screens when changing from one account to another. Force shutdowns are required to get back to normal. I wonder is a re-installation of ML would fix the problems, but I don't know how to do that. I have made a bootable copy from the installer, but would like some guidance on replacing 10.8.2 with 10.8.1.

AirOS (from Ubiquiti) cannot open after entering password with firefox.

Firefox cannot enter the webbased application (AirOS) from ubiquiti networks. This application is used for controlling (control panel) the devices.
In the previous version of Firefox (4.x and below) it can open normally. But in version 5.0 and above it is only open the Login screen. Then after user enter the "User Name" and "Password" the application stack and cannot open the control panel.
I hope it can be fix ASAP. Thank you
