After export movies works and then is not working anymore?!

Hi guys,
i am capturing HD movies to my final cut express HD..Edit them, expert as quick time movie (option self contain is OFF). Then i test the movies and they are like they should be. Then i import them into IDVD and IDVD accept some and some not. So when i check the not accepted movies they only play the sound. While 10 minutes before the movie was working correct.
After a few times (making the same movies again and again on the same maner) IDVD accepted alle the movies. But when i wanted to burn the dvd it gives me a error about a missing movie file, again and again?
It worked all okay when i made my other dvds.
The only thing changed at this system is that i upgraded to Ilife'11
What am i doing wrong?

Ps. my movies are HD (1080i)

Could it be that the link is broken after i change the movie from folder to a >other folder ?
The FCE Project File or the export?
Sequence>Render Only>Mixdown.
This action makes one temp file out of all your audio. It makes a difference to exported files playing correctly in the audio department.

Personas not working after latest FF update and "solution" is not working

I am still unable to get my favorite personas to rotate. I'm upset that personas used to work quite nicely even though I had it set to clear history every time firefox was closed. I want personas to rotate AND have history cleared again. In the meantime, I've disabled clearing history--now how do I get the rotator working again please.

Personas should work if you aren't in Private Browsing mode.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing mode.

Crystal report 8.5 export to csv and rtf format not working with office 2013

Hi Experts,
Crystal report version 8.5 hangs and eventually crash when i export my report to csv or rtf format on windows 7 with office 2013 installed, code is written in VB 6 although the same scenario is working with office 2010 installed.
i debugged the code and found the application hangs at function Report.Export(False).
below is the code snippet

CR 8.5, being about 15 years old, does not support Windows 7. I am surprised this works for you with MS Office 2010 and to be honest, I'd consider my self lucky there. The fact that is does not work with office 2013... well, like I said, lucky with Office 2010 and your luck ran out with Office 2013.
Your option; rewrite the app in VS 2010 / 2012 / 2013 and use the CR Assemblies for VS .NET from SAP Crystal Reports, Developer Version for Visual Studio .NET. The CR Java SDK would be another option.

The re-set is shown as successful but then doesn't work..I'm locked out of everything!!!

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

After the update camera and lock button not working

After the last update my camera just a black screen and my lock button which is on the top not working properly I cant close my Iphone.

Mail on Maverick is very problematic since latest upgrade. One day it works other day it doesn't, especially with gmail. I don't change any settings but one day it will work and the other it will not. What give? All updates are installed....

COMMIT WORK AND WAIT does not work

I know this question has been asked many times in various forums. But the fact remains that there is no definitive solution found for this problem which does not involve WAIT UP TO n SECONDS or SELECT until the DB commit has been completed.
We have an IDoc based inbound interface for creating Project Defintion and WBS Elements. Here is how the code looks like in the processing function module:
* Create Project Defintion
CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_PROJECTDEF_CREATE'
EXPORTING
    project_definition_stru = lwa_proj_bapi
TABLES
    e_message_table         = lt_messages.
* If no errors
CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT'
EXPORTING
    wait = 'X'.
* Other code
* Create WBS Element (BAPI could not be used because not all fields are allowed to be updated)
CALL TRANSACTION 'CJ11'
Now while creating the WBS Element, transaction CJ11 returns an error that 'Project does not exist'. This is not correct because the same Project was successfully created in the previous step.
It is clear that the problem is because of the delay in database commits.
This happens only with few IDoc's and not all of them. And of course, the problem does not occur if I induce WAIT UP TO n SECONDS after BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT. But this is not the best practice.
The question is why BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT does not wait even though we are forcing it to?

@Sagar Acharya: Well, I thought you were looking for an explanation why sometimes the project isn't created (and you only had posted coding that showed details for step 1) - I'm trying hard, but my mind reading skills are rather limited yet...
So let's think about step 2 and 3: I assume that you made sure that your coding always references the correct WBS element. Again the commit (without wait) is done already via CJ11 (e.g. check form BUCHEN in SAPLCJWB). I'd expect though that the synchronous update mode should make this work. Since it doesn't, I'd try local update mode, which is what I'd choose in your case anyhow.
Apart from that my mind is pretty blank, except for the usual silly things to check. E.g. are you sure you're coding is correct, you are handling all return messages and log them for inspection later (e.g. application log), you are certain that the WBS was actually created by the same IDoc that throws the fit (and IDoc was not reprocessed), etc.
So maybe somebody else has better ideas...

Same issue Network Discovery not working and Windows Update not working

This is a Vista Ultimate upgrade. My OOOOH My I have clocked 8 hours
Everything was working before. I tried all of the recommended services turning on restarting.
Also, ran into the problem of my memory being eaten. Suspected cause hibernate mode, which I had to disable. Scott Hasselman blog recommended the fix which is a cheap work around that limits machines functionality!!
I'm and IT Engineer specializing in MS product lines since Windows 1.0. MFC foundation classes etc.. What is the real problem ?
I don't have the NetBIOS over tcp/ip in my services?
I figure that the cost of my time and other individuals pays for the OS four times over. Give me a Microsoft developer subscription or something to make me happy. This is my development machine and I'm loosing time and money.
FYI, Just upgraded my second machine to Windows 8.1 OMG !!2 Hours to upgrade after the download. I loose my configuration settings. I required to have a Windows Live whatever account!!! This is not the way to compete and keep customers.
Windows XP has been by far the best deployment experience. I need a Knowledge base that gives solutions , not a troubleshooting scenario that does or does not work!!
Please , don't tell me to go and by a OEM Surface I cannot recommend this to my clients.

Also, please temporarily turn off your firewall and all the security programs for a test.
As far as I know, Network discovery requires that the DNS Client, DNS Client, Network Connections, Network Location Awareness, Remote Procedure Call (RPC), Function Discovery
Resource Publication, TCP/IP Netbios helper, SSDP Discovery, and UPnP Device Host services are started and set to automatic.
You should check again if you have started all these services.
Regarding the update issue, I suggest you try the following suggestions.
1. Temporarily disable firewall and antivirus program to test the issue.
2. Open the Windows Update troubleshooter

I Mac Not working, and Repair Disk not working

I have been trying to help out a friend with his I Mac loaded with OS X. It will not load up just by pressing the power button. I have tried running the Disk Utility and get the following messages. I am probably at the understanding of this hard drive is just toast. My next step will probably be to Erease the hard drive completely and try to install the OS X. But i am a little leary about doing that. If anyone could suggest something before I do this, that would be great. All so I have tried booting from the install disk and reinstalling the OS X with out the Formatting of the disk and it does not Allow me to access the Mac HD. There is a big yellow "!"

I cant access any of the files on the hard drive to back up. Do you know of a link on how to format and reinstall. It would be my first time. I have diskwarrior and it will not load at all.

I use my iChat to do video chat with my granddaughter. I used to do iChat without any problem to connect with her in New York. However, After Mobil Me account closed, I accounted connection problems frequently. Sometime, I had to turn-off my computer then re-started the computer to make it work again. . When I had this problem to connect on iChat (the Mac did not allow me to choose "available"), the poped out window message said that " the iChat lost the Mobil Me account [email protected]" "The server connection was unexplected disconnect". Do you know what is my problem? My Apple ID for iCloud and previous Mobil Me account should be [email protected] I am no longer using [email protected] for Mobil Me e-mail address. My current iCloud e-mail address is [email protected] is no longer of using [email protected] account for my e-mail. If this is the problem, please let me know how to remove the [email protected] account from your system. Thanks!

Certainly disable FlashPlayer in your plugins by using

You need to get Firefox working again before you are going to be able to do anything with Firefox.
See if you can get Firefox to open in [[safe mode]] noting that when you get a window with a list of options just click on continue.

Sorry but at present there are many possible causes of your problem and you will need to try Firefox's SafeMode &/or some of the suggestions in those linked articles in order to narrow it down a bit.

SuperDrive not working and bootcamp seems not working with external CD

Hi everyone,
I have a MacBook, and the internal SuperDrive is dead, now I'm using an
external CD drive (USB).
Yesterday I bought Leopard 10.5.4, (need to intall BootCamp).
The update from Tiger to Leopard was easy, and withought problems, but when I tried to install BootCamp, the partition seems correctly created, but when the program request the Windows CD and restart, a grey screen apears and nothing
happend... also Leopard is unable to start again, just the grey screen...
Now I found that if I press alt key, appear the Macintosh HD and i can start it,
but never automatically...
What can I do? I tried to reintall again with the same result...
I need BootCamp, if not i think i waste 129$ cause the only reason to purchase Leopard was BootCamp... also I need my computer reebot again by itself, not using the alt key... that's really anoying...

I don't have an external CD/DVD-Drive, so I made some guessing.
From my understanding of Windows it is more likely to work with an USB-connected external drive than with a FireWire one.
Windows XP (and Vista to my knowledge) can only support/access Firewire devices with additional drivers, that are not loadad/used during the installation phase.
Only when Windows is fully installed the needed Firewire driver is present and Windows can use it.

Urgent!! Need your Help! iPhone stopped working and Lock Button Not working

Lock button on phone has not been working for 6 months (me being lazy, never got it sorted). Now today, I took my phone out of my pocket and it had shut down. Black screen. Cant turn it on because button broke. doesnt respond when i plug into my computer or on charge.
Desperate for help please!!! Need my phone! got very important info on it and alot of baby pictures of my son which arent backed up (again, my fault for being lazy)
