After first round of updates on newly formatted Windows 7 Pro, boots to repair screen

I have formatted this PC about 5 times now, exchanged a few different HDD's out, and get the same results after I complete the first round of Windows updates. It boots to the System Repair menu and does the repair but does not find any issues. I've ran boot
sector virus scans, malwarebytes just for the heck of it, chkdsk and sfc. I have tried installing the drivers before downloading windows updates and also after the first round of windows updates. But it keeps coming back to the startup repair.. And I've also
ran diagnostics and memtest and everything came back ok.
I can't really seem to find anything on the forums regarding an issue like this so I figured I might as well create a thread and see what comes of it.
EDIT: This may have something to do with it.. When trying to run updates, it first asks to install 1 update. I check it, and it is the Windows Update Agent. 7.6.7600.256. I am however able to boot back up after this 1 update.

Do you mean that you've reinstalled Windows 7 about 5 times, and the same issue persists after you installing Windows updates?
As I know, Windows Update should not cause this kind of issue, how did you install your Windows? With an installation disk or something else like an .iso? Are there any addition software\3 rd party applications included? if yes, then remove\uninstall them
after the installation finished.
After you install Windows 7 and install Windows Updates, do not restart, check the cbs log first in C:\Windows\Logs\CBS, or refer to the following KB to gather additional troubleshooting information

Exit Code 6 after installed CS 5.5 Web Premium on Windows 8 Pro 64bit

I installed CS 5.5 on Win 8 Pro 64bit and it worked fine, until I had to re-format this PC (it was a hard disk problem, not from CS). After I finished installing Windows and wanted to install CS 5.5 back, then I got Exit Code 6 with 5 errors and 40 warnings, mainly itis about OS requirements not met for.
I tried to fix it by doing as the trouble shooting tips on the last installation windows;
1. Restart the PC
2. Exit and stop all applications, including internet security.
3. Reinstall
This time, I still got Exit Code 6 with more errors and warnings.
I have tried serveral medthods on the same machine.
On Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit with or without any internet security.
On Windows 8 Pro 64bit with or without any internet security.
All the same result, Exit Code 6 with some error and warnings.
Any help please?

Sorry for the delay, I do not think I have missed anything, because I tested by re-formatting and re-stalling the OS (7, 8 and also 8.1) and also updated all windows service patches until nothing left, all other programs are fine to install and run, such as MS Office, games.
It is very frustrated and time consuming with this software. I started to understand why many people still using a pirate one as it seems Adobe cannot help or do not want to be bothered with this issue as there are many people posted the same issue on the web.
Expensive software that only looks good in the box!!

I'm using T410 and Windows 8 Pro 64 bit.
Sometime, when i boot start Windows, after Wellcome , the screen is black.
But when i press Ctrl+Alt+Del, its' appear Task Maneger...vv.v...... but when i try lo login, after then, it's re-appear Black Screen (with cursor)
I updated BIOS.
Display was updated by Windows 8 (not manual)
Please help me fix this issue.

Dump after first flexible load update

Hi!
Can somebody please describe the problem. First flexible load from cons monitor goes ok and the data is written to info-cube. After that when I tried to do the same thing to any another cons unit, or to test the same I have a dump message:

I see two possible means:
1. Something is wrong with your hierarchy of ConsUnits (or with units themselves) -- try to check if your unit have the FYV, local currency, period of first data entry (in the appropriate cons group) and the like -- all info related to units (and their combinations) and their hierarchy.
if it doesn't help, then
2. Look for OSS notes.

SyncServices quits after latest round of updates

After updating 3/21/08, I can no longer sync to .Mac. I tried restoring from TimeMachine; SyncServices and FileSync. No help. Not sure what's causing the SyncServices to crash, so don't know what to restore. Any ideas.

I run kde and I use testing, since the last time I used my usb stick auto mounting doesn't work. I get
mount: can't find /dev/sdb1 in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab
I tried a DVD doesn't work anymore either

After 10.8.5 Update, I Have Random Windows Open

After updating my mid-2009 MacBook Pro to 10.8.5, at startup I have a random collection of windows and applications that automatically open. It's the same stuff every time: An Aperture icon open in Preview, a Finder window showing a deeply buried iPhoto theme in the Application Support folder, and TextEdit with all of my documents open. The first time this happened, there was also a fresh Terminal window open, but that behavior has since stopped and it's just the other three.
These apps are not listed as Startup Items.
I have repaired permissions and verified my disk, and nothing else seems to be amiss. Anybody know what's going on, or have similar behavior after the upgrade?

I also had to go to System Preferences/General and check the close windows when quitting an application.

i´ve just installed all actual updates for the n500, including a bios update. since then I cant get into the boot up utilities(I think its called thinkvantage) anymore with the lenovo button when booting up (instead, I get a menu where I can choose where to boot from!!!!)... when pressing f8 on bootup there used to be something like "repair system" in the menu, its gone too...
also, rescure and recovery in vista basic does not load anymore, the gui process is running but nothing happens... please help!!!
what can I do??? I didn't touch any partitions or delete anything... before the updates, it did work. installing the newest bios from the website did not solve the problem too...

I am beginning to love lenovo. and vista. I´ve used the boot disk found at http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-54483
(vista version), made a disc with it, "fixed" my mbr... and now vista stops booting all together. something about a missing bootmanager. I love it. really. both. lenovo, and vista.
edit: lucky me, I had a dart cd to repair the boot manager. so I can at least boot again. but, still no solution to my problem... any ideas?
edit 2: I tried again. this time, no error. but still, I have the same problem with a not working thinkvantage. any ideas?
edit 3: seems like the only solution left after reviewing all hints and tips is installing rescue and recovery, but has anyone installed it on a N500 yet? does it work? does it damage the pc? which version should I install, if it works?

After update Mac Pro boots to grey screen with Kernel Panic. Help please.

It would be great if someone can help me out. Yesterday I did a software update of iTunes and osx (it said to ease update to Lion) and now my Mac Pro tower (MacPro3,1) boots to a grey screen, kernel panic, telling me that I need to power down and restart my machine. I can boot into osx via the safe mode but unfortunately I don't have an install disk to repair the system disk. What are my options?
The machine appears to work in safe mode. I have tried resetting the PRAM. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There's no point in reinstalling the same driver. It hasn't changed. It's incompatible with the OS update. Contact the device manufacturer to see if there's a driver update. In the meantime, you should physically remove the device so the driver doesn't load. If you uninstall the driver and leave the device installed, that might also cause a panic.

After upgrade Lion to Mavericks, can't run Windows 7 on boot camp because is hidden/disabled

The question is about iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011)
It was with Lion, there was a Windows 7 (32bit) partition created by Boot Camp v4.
So, I made the upgrade to Mavericks (no clean install), after this when iMac start and holding "ALT" button no longer appears the option to boot into Windows!
EDIT: I installed rEFit, now I can see Win partition but when I select it system says: "A disk read error occured Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart"
I am sure that Win partition there is yet because when I'm booting Mac OS X and opening "boot camp assistant" it says me eventually remove the Win7 partition, and because I can see in the "Disk Utility" there's still the partition (disk0s4).
It's because MBR is broken after upgrade to Mavericks?

When bootcamp start, between the choises is to create a bootable usb disk. So you need to choose this and put your windows 7 cdrom inside and an empty usb flash disk. Then the program will take the Win7 file from the copy you have and will create a new copy in you usb disk. Then it will use the new copy for the installation and normally no error will appear.

I bought and downloaded the windows 7 ultimate edition 64 bit iso, then proceeded to perform a correct burn to a DVD one at the slowest speed and one at the fastest. all went well. so I open Boot Camp assistant and follow the instructions to the letter, downloaded the driver support to the flash drive. partitioned my drive with more than enough room 150 gb. its starts its install. I get through everything seamlessly where I put in my info all with the exception of my activation code. yet it still continues to finalize the install and does another restart. boots back up to either A. black screen saying press any key to boot to my install disk. B. if I take it out just a white curser. also I read it may be because I had the flash drive in while I was trying to boot so I removed it as well, same result. any input would be much appreciated.

X230 Wi-Fi problems after upgrading to Windows 8 Pro

My X230 came installed with Windows 7 Pro and was working fine for several months. I upgraded my X230 (Intel Centrino Advanced n-6205) to Windows 8 Pro a few weeks back (10/27). The Wi-Fi was working fine for the first week or so. After that I enabled the Hyper-V on Windows 8 Pro and my networking problems started around the same time. Not sure if they are related but my wi-fi connection seems to have degraded dramatically over the past few weeks. At first it was slow then it started dropping connections and the it would not connect at all and I had to reboot. It is at a point now that it will not connect anymore. I have tried installing new drivers/removing and installing Intel PROset/rolling back drivers/Remvoing the hyper-V etc. All options seemed to work for a day or so. Right now the Wi-Fi doesn't work anymore. No fiddling around works. Very frustrating, how can I check if this is something related to Windows 8 or if it is related to Centrino. I'm *this* close to rolling back to Windows 7 and be done with this nonsense. I have about 10 devices in the house which connect fine to this wifi router.

Does your notebook have switchable graphics that worked i Windows 7?
The AMD graphics driver provides the audio while using an HDMI output.
You will need to install the AMD graphics driver in Windows 7 compatibility mode to resolve this.

Happy to report that iTunes Match has returned to working like normal on iTunes 10.7 on my computer today. If any iTunes engineers read this thread, I really appreciate the fix.

I connected my iPhone to my computer and sync'd it hoping that it could download my purchases from the itunes store and then put them back on to my phone but no such luck. When i look at my iphone on my computer and look at tones, they do not show up at all. However, if i click on the "On This iPhone" tab and click on "Tones" the deleted ringtones and altert tones show up...they are just grey'd out and have a dotted circle to the left of them. I also tried to go to the iTunes store on my phone and redownload them and it tells me that i have already purchased this ringtone and asks me if i want to buy it again. I press Cancel. I know when i do that with music it would usually let me redownload the song without buying it again but it wont let me with the ringtones...so how do i get them back? any help would be greatly appreicated

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.
