After Form Personalization getting problem

Dear All,
I did one form personalization, it's working fine. But the problem is ..
At the time of closing that form it's asking Do you want to save? with out changing any filelds.
Just i opened that form and queried records, then i tried to close that form . at this time it's asking do u want to save.
i didn't change any filed data.
why it's asking .pls give me solution.

Oracle Forms Personalization - Menu Icon

Hello, hopefully a quick question. Looking at forms personalization and want to add a new menu item. I can achieve this using Forms Personalization no problem. My question is regarding the 'Icon Name' field for the Action Type of Menu. I understand that this is asking for a .ico file to display in the toolbar, however I'm not sure where to place this .ico file on the file system for it to be picked up? Any thoughts?

Basically in the Forms Personalization Form for an Action Type of "Menu" there is a parameter called "Icon Name". According to the Forms Personalization documentation (279034.1) the definition for this field is:
"Icon Name: Specify an optional icon name that you want added to the Toolbar to achieve the same functionality as in the special pulldown menu entry"
I tried specifying one of the icons in the directory you mention below: afattach.gif (even tried just afattach) to see if that would render on the Toolbar, but no luck.
Any thoughts on what is required for this field?

Problem in Form personalization of FA module of Quick Additions

Version : 12.1.1
I am doing a form personalization in Quick additions of FA module.
I have registered a concurrent as PL SQL procedure. The procedure updates the asset number as per our requirement once the asset gets added.
To achieve this I have created a procedure to submit the concurrent request and executed the procedure as follows in form personalization:
Condition:
1) Trigger Event=> When Validate record
2) Trigger Object => Addition Dist
Actions:
1) Type => Buitin
2) Builtin Type => Execute a Procedure
3)Argument => 'begin proc_name end'
The problem is concurrent is being executed seven times,
Please suggest me your valuable solutions as soon as possible.

Help my music wont play. Diamond on the bar doesnt even move. I have just authorised and downloaded itunes 10 after my last harddrive crashed and imported my purchases so I didnt think I'd get problems...

Cant get music to play. It's all there but the diamond on the bar doesnt even move, I can place it in the middle of the song but when I press play it goes back to the beginning and nothing!
If it helps I have just authorised a new computer and downloaded itunes 10 after my last hard drive crashed and then I imported my purchases from itunes cloud so I didnt think I'd get problems...
Can anyone help?

Forms Personalization not working after R12 upgrade

Hi,
We have recently upgraded to R12. We have forms personalizations on the People, Enter and Maintain form and this is not working now after the R12 upgrade.
I went to one of the form personalizations and Validated and Applied again but it still did not work. I also created a new one but had no success with that either.
Any ideas how to get this working again ? Is there something extra that needs to be done for R12?

Pl indicate which version of R12 and on what form you had the personalization in the previous version. Have you checked FND_FORM_CUSTOM_% tables to ensure that the personalization survived the upgrade ?

Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the problem is resolved. Some of these steps are only possible if you have control over the wireless router.
Step 1
Turn Wi-Fi off and back on.
Step 2
Restart the router and the computer. Many problems are solved that way.
Step 3
Change the name of the wireless network, if applicable, to eliminate any characters other than letters and digits. You do that on your router via its web page, if it's not an Apple device, or via AirPort Utility, if it is an Apple device.
Step 4
Run the Network Diagnostics assistant.
Step 5
In OS X 10.8.4 or later, run Wireless Diagnostics and fix the issues listed in the Summary, if any.
Step 6
Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Enter the name of your wireless network in the search box. You should have one or more "AirPort network password" items with that name. Make a note of the name and password, then delete all the items. Quit Keychain Access. Turn Wi-Fi off and then back on. Reconnect to the network.

Re-installing does not affect your Library in any way. You don't delete it, only the app.
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store or have a Recent Mac you can find it in your Purchases List.

Thanks for your response.
At the line level in the purchase order form, we have configured DFF with one field for train# and 14 fields for the container#.
In order to prevent the user from entering the same container# twice in the same PO. We need to save the PO on each line. So that when the user move to the next line, our program will check with base tables and confirm whether the entered container# is free to use or not.

Problem in Forms Personalization

Hi All,
i am new to forms personalization.
I need to do form Personalization for Advance supply chain planner Module.
Req is when Order_type is Planned Order and Min_Ordered_qty >0 then make the row in Green Colour.
I am able to do Green colour but this green colour appears everytime even if my condition in not fulfilled.For eg. if order_type_text = 'Mixed order' then also its changing font to green color.
Trigger Event -When new Block instance.
Condition-
${item.MRP_ORDERS.ORDER_TYPE_TEXT.value} = 'Planned order'
AND (${item.MRP_SYSTEM_ITEMS.MINIMUM_ORDER_QUANTITY.VALUE}>0)
Could you please suggest on the same.

You need to set the property at Item-Instance level to affect only the current row (which also makes me think that you should use WHEN-NEW-RECORD-INSTANCE trigger event), if that is available to choose from forms personalization. Otherwise, if it is a multi-row block, the property change affects all instances of the item. Looking at what is available, the most promising property is "VISUAL ATTRIBUTE (ITEM-INSTANCE)", but you would need to rely on one being available for the form as I don't think you can create them at runtime.

Forms Personalization Issues / Urgent help

Hello Oracle Gurus,
I have an issue while customizing the Customer Standard Form in Oracle Applications using Forms Personalization.
Issue descritption:
1) In Customer Standard Form (ARXCUDCI), at Bill-to Site level i need to disable the buttons NEW and OPEN for a custom responsibility.
I have written code in Trigger Event "WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE" and in actions i mentioned as
1. Property - Object Type as Item
Target Object as CTRL.ADDR_SU_NEW
Property Name as Enabled
Value as False
2. Property - Object Type as Item
Target Object as CTRL.ADDR_SU_OPEN
Property Name as Enabled
Value as False
When i check, it is working for the NEW button (i.e. NEW button getting disabled) but the same is not working for OPEN button.
Am i missing any thing else.........Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

I would guess that the problem with the Open button is that there is existing standard code within the form that runs after the WHEN-NEW-FORMS-INSTANCE trigger that enables/disables the Open button based on some other condition.
Apart from opening up the form in Forms Builder and working through the code to work out what standard code is doing this (which can be an extremely painful process), I would suggest that you try moving your personalisation to a later event, such as WHEN-NEW-BLOCK-INSTANCE.

Report Called from FORMS having Printing Problem

Hi all
Guys i have a report problem in reports 6i.
I am calling a report from my FORM 6i directly to printer (a dot matrix printer).
I have set
Add_Parameter(pl_id,'DesType',TEXT_PARAMETER,'printer');
The report is actually a confirmation report and i have given its layout height equal to 3.7 . But when i send it to printer it ejects the paper equal to 11 (equal to height of a portarait report).
How can manage this ejection from Form or Report Side.
NOTE : This problem occurs even if print the report from report preview(means not printed directlty from FORM).
Kindly help me with this if any.

The furthur detail to my previous problem is given as follows:
I am getting problem
with the Oracle reports. I have a dot matrix printer (Epson LQ-300, which is a
tractor feed printer). While printing a report which is always not more than half a
page, the printer does not stop after printing the report(the half page). It stops at
the end of the page. I mean that half the page is printed and the rest half is blank.
I want that the printer should print only at half a page. On the blank half it should
print another copy of same report.
