Thanks petermac87...but for some reason, the only purchases showing are OS. So assuming iPhoto is in Mountain Lion, I was hoping to look under Hidden Items there as you suggested, but there is no option for that. Only option is to download Mountain Lion again, not iPhoto specifically. Any ideas welcome!

Re wifi:
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. OS X Lion Version 10.7.5 and after new hard drive I have lost iPhoto, iMovie, etc.

I have the OS X Lion version 10.7.5 and after a new hard drive I have lost iPhoto, iMovie, Garage Band etc. I have tried the re-install of the OS X Lion and checking the app store under 'purchases' but none of these options were successful.
When I click on iPhoto in the App Store, it says that it cannot update because version 10.9 is required (I tried to transfer iPhoto from my brothers computer but he has a newer laptop which means I cant open it whcih is why it says 'update' but have deleted it now). When I go to iMovie on the App Store, it says I need to pay but the only reason I dont want to do that is that it origionally came on the computer and after paying Apple to install a new hard drive I dont want to have to pay for all the apps that origionally come on it.
Can someone please help

Then you will need the Original System Reinstall DVD discs that came with the system to reinstall the iLife suite of apps then you can update them from the Mac app store or through Software Update.
Those discs came in the box the computer came in. Hopefully you still have the box and those discs.

Have plugged back in and resynced. The apps should be there in your i tunes on the computer. Make sure the right sync buttons are checked.

You erased them.
Did you back them up before you erased them?
Then did you restore that backup to your newly erased computer?

After formatting my laptop with XP ipodtouch will not synchronise ,Also when asking for homesharing for my AppleTv, they are telling me to deauthorize existing computers.But how?

2.when choosing homesharing on appleTv , it is asking to deauthorise earlier computers. I do not find the option for deauthorising earlier computer.

It helped in authorising the computer after deauthorizing existing 5 computers.
But even after synchronising the ipodtouch with i tunes, the contents of ipodtouch could not be transferred to the itunes library,especially the musics.
How to tackle this problem?

Have you tried the R300 or R320 software? Typically the software covers a broad spectrum of printers, often providinbg overlap to cover "relatives" of a series.

Hi I have just updated my computer and I seem to have lost the disk which came with my ipod (ipod for windows software 1.0). Does anyone know where I can download this so I can transfer my music to my ipod?

After IOS 6 update I have lost my purchased ringtones. They show up in iTunes but do not show up on the phone

I have tried all the suggestions and nothing works. I can see the ringtones in iTunes but I cannot delete them as suggested. I have had to buy these ringtones twice I am not buying them (or any other for that matter) again.

I'm with you. I will NEVER spend another cent buying ringtones. It is such a RIP-OFF!!! It also lessens the experience of having an iphone. I have also lost my entire Music Library after a sync. - Just sync the media back to the iPod from your iTunes library. You can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- Sometimes a computer glitch occurs and the iPod then identifies the computer/iTunes library as a different library.
- If you have media purchased from more than one iTunes account you have to go to Settings>Store and sign out of one account and sign into the other to redownload media purchased from that account.

I bought a new laptop and have lost all my music library when installing itunes?

This will be the third Laptop that I have authorised but when I installed iTunes to it, my entire music library had disappeared, only purchased items were there. It's worked ok previously when I authorised the old Laptop so I am really confused as to where it's all gone. Unless you have subscribed to iTunes Match signing into your iTunes account on a new computer only gives you access to your past purchases. You need to migrate the iTunes library from your previous computer or recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
