After having reset Mozilla I'm unable to restore my settings. Can you help?

Although I get access to the Mozilla's default profile I don't know how to restore the settings to the fresh, newly reset Mozilla. That's all.

One way you could try is to copy/overwrite each and every file/folder from the desktop backup folder created by the reset, into the current [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder Firefox Profile Folder] after exiting Firefox. To open the current profile folder via Firefox: '''Help''' ('''Alt''' + '''H''') > '''Troubleshooting Information''' > '''Show Folder'''.

As Terence Devlin said, the upgrade to Mavericks is free at the AppStore. Open the first tab at the AppStore (Featured) and you can buy it for free, if your Mac can be upgraded to Mavericks.
But before you do that, check the applications you need to use for compatibility with Mavericks, for example at Roaring Apps: http://roaringapps.com/apps?index=a
PowerPC applications can no longer run on Mavericks, some device drivers may not be available as Mavericks compatible versions.
To prepare for the update take these precautions:
Make a full backup of your mac, including the applications libraries. In addition to the TimeMachine backup a bootable clone is very useful, since it enables you to revert easily to the old system.
Update all applications to there latest version, thatare available on Snowleopard.
If you find, that the Mavericks upgrade would make too many applications redundant, consider Terence Devlin's second option to buy the boxed iLife version. -

How did you save your Timeline content which included the narration clip produced with the project's Narration Tool?
Publish+Share/Computer/ and then what? And, what preset? And, for that preset, did you use the default settings of the preset
or did you customize the preset under its Advanced Button/Video Tab and Audio Tab?
What other audio was in the project - any on Audio 1 or Soundtrack? Did you get involved with Smart Mix at all?

Try going to the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your iPod and you should be able to redownload an older compatible version of the app from there - you won't be able to do it from your computer's iTunes, you can only download the current version of an app on there, it is only directly on a device that you can potentially redownload an older compatible version.

I bought my computer MacBook about six years ago. I am trying to download the new version of itunes. It downloads to my computer, but then asks me for my name and installer password. The options to get that password back is to install the initial disk of the computer, which I do not have anymore or restart the computer doing some sort of steps. I am clueless when it comes to computers, so if anyone can help me that would be awsome!

Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu.
Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

Did you ever back up your phone on the computer?
Did you use photo stream at all?
May I suggest changing your passcode lock to a letters and numbers lock (if not all ready it will make your iphone more secure and a restore lock otion shouldent be needed). Then change your setting as well preventing restore after ten incorect passwords.

Want to update plug-ins as I've been getting script errors, usually involving chrome and what may be java script, advisories of virtual memory being too small, etc. Nurse indicates some "Up to date" in green box. Others indicate "unable to detect plug-in version. I click "research" and get myriad sites offering options I've no hope of understanding. Can you help? L
What are the names of the plugins that show up as "Research" on the [https://www.mozilla.com/plugincheck/ Mozilla Plugin Check] page?
For example, I only have one like that, Microsoft® Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin np-mswmp ... and the Research button lists a Microsoft page as the first link.

A week or so back I noticed my computer running differently so I looked at it, and I am very good at taking care of all of my computer issues. But this is something that I did not do, and do not understand how it happened. Firefox has been my browser for the last 7 years and I have never had a problem with it. But over the weekend it crashed and now it just won't open. I've uninstalled and redownloaded it but it still won't open. I can't reset anything as I can't get into it. I'm not sure what recent updates or add ons I had.
