After having updated my ATV 2 to 4.4.4 and iTunes on my iMac to 10.6 things are slower
Suddenly loading album cover images in the music library takes a huge time.
Thumbnails in the picture libraries also takes more or less forever.
Starting slideshows sometimes don´t work at all.
Music streams OK.
Reestablishing home sharing by switching it off and on can have a short impact.
Any suggestions??
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first.

And that is the root of the problem. Unless you had your carrier unlock it, it was hacked and cannot be legitimately activated. Even if you don't care about warranty or problems, downgrading simply will not help an activation issue. -

Have you tried swiping up or down on the screen in the photos app? When you swipe up or down, that cycles through the Photo, Video and Square modes in the app. The current mode appears in yellow type.
The screen on the iPad in photos App is going to look different that what you see if you click on the link that was posted for you above - that link shows what the screen will look like on the iPhone, but they are similar. -

Not unless you saved a copy of the old iPhoto Library. Otherwise, you can't go back.

Just to be clear, if by downgrade you mean uninstall, then the answer is technically, no.
You can't uninstall an OS. You can erase and re-install the old OS, but if you don't have a prior backup of your data, you'll lose it during the erase procedure. -

Having the same issue but it seems to be everything - messages, phone, contact, viber. It's made my phone completely useless!! I open it, opens it, doesn't load anything but the white page and then it goes back to the home screen.

I've just recently updated to the ver 4.0. After the update, I can't select my vertical scroll and any buttons on the search toolbar. I've tried switching off all the add-ons and running it on safe-mode but the problem still persist. Anybody encountered the same issue here? Any help would be good. Cheers
Okay. The missing menus at the top of iTunes (in recent versions) can indicate trouble with the Segoe UI fonts on your system. It's a new symptom of a problem that can also cause text to go missing from the Device tab in iTunes.
Unfortunately it's a bit trickier to deal with on Windows 7 systems than Vista or XP. (The "Vortical" instructions which can fix it for almost all folks on Vista and XP aren't applicable to Windows 7.)

I went to update my phone and after the update I recieved a message that it failed and that the back up failed. I had to restore my phone to stock. I just want to know if there was a possibility to get my pictures back. I tried to get my phone to restore from my last back up but it wouldn't do that either. Does anyone have any ideas. Thank you. I have been reading about a lot of these occurances and many people have been able to get their pictures back through iexplorer however I am unable to. The error number I got was 50 or something like that. I have a feeling I will not be able to get the pictures back because it said the backup failed after the update failed.

hello, this is a scam tactic that is trying to trick you into installing malware, so don't download or execute this kind of stuff! as you've rightly mentioned, you're already using the latest version of firefox installed and you can always initiate a check for ''updates in firefox > help > about firefox''.
you might also want to run a full scan of your system with the security software already in place and different tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes], [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner] & [http://www.kaspersky.com/security-scan kaspersky security scan] in order to make sure that there isn't already some sort of malware active on your system that triggers these false alerts.

After software update (Sept. '09) apps don't work and some missing
Plugged my phone in and itunes said there was an update I needed to install. Did that then it said there was a problem with the phone and it needed to be formatted before itunes could read it, did that too. Then while it was syncing up again after formatting it kept telling me there was a problem and items could not be found. All downloaded apps, some are missing completely from the phone, are no longer working. HELP!

Perhaps the OP doesn't connect the iPhone to the computer very often.

A long story about your issue... I think the reason of this is why you have deleted some registry keys. If you delete something in the Windows registry you should really know what you do. You can damage the complete Windows system!
So I think this is the reason why the keyboard doesnt anymore.
In the user manual I have founded that the CD-ROM booting option is only available with optional optical disk drive.
So for me it sounds like that your USB CD drive is not compatible to the notebook
