After I close Firefox and reopen, my app tabs are not found. Is this correct?
Firefox doesn't save my app tabs. Is this normal or is there a setting that I am missing.
The loss of my app tabs still happens even though I have my settings set up under Options > Privacy to "Firefox will... Remember history." I have not selected the option for Firefox to clear my history. I have not selected private browsing mode.
The problem is this: when I close my app tab(s), or when I use my app tab(s) to browse to another page, my app tab actually does disappear or change, and it does not come back when I subsequently close and reopen Firefox.
This is not the behavior I was expecting for a "permanent" app tab that is "pinned" somewhere. I was told on the features page: "Take sites you always keep open—like Web mail—off your tab bar and give them a permanent home in your browser." To me, permanent means permanent until I actually delete it, like a bookmark on my toolbar. If something is pinned, it should stay pinned down.
I guess I have to use the bookmark toolbar to get the behavior I want. These app tabs are just temporary skinny tabs.

PaulApp (pinned) tabs and Tab Groups (Panorama) are stored as part of the session data [1] in the file sessionstore.js [2] in the Firefox profile folder [3].
Make sure that you do not use "Clear Recent History" to clear the "Browsing History" when Firefox is closed because that prevails and prevents Firefox from opening tabs from the previous session.

I open facebook or other site. right click link/photo to open in new tab quickly. Then all tab connection will be connection to website, all page stop loading. Have to close firefox and reopen then only site will load.
You can override how links are opened via the browser.link.open_newwindow.override pref.

You restart Firefox and open a window, since you closed without app-tabs there are none so you just see a window with your home page.

Which games do you have downloaded? I have ran across a couple of games that have in app purchases to get to higher levels. Those games are no longer on my phone and will never be on my phone longer than I can delete them when I discover that situation.
What apps have you downloaded just before this started. I would look at them first.
Did you get any apps outside of the market?
Do you have side loading turned on? That would be the setting under Applications that allow you to install apps not from the market.
I would be concerned personally. I do not have the Wiki app, but take a hard look at everything. If they have something in there that you have to pay for to get more levels in app, I would delete them.
As a last resort, I would do a factory reset (which wipes everything out internally, but leaves the SD Card alone). Then start from scratch, adding each game/app that you had before, but do them slowly and wait a day or two before doing the next one. If you get that message back after adding an app, delete the app and do not download it again. If you have any apps that you have moved to the SD card, I would move them back before the factory reset so they get deleted too.
I know that this can be a slow process, but that is better than having a rogue app buying stuff from your phone without you knowing about it. -
App tabs are not saving nor highlighting when I get updates
When I restart Firefox, my app tabs sometimes saves, and sometimes they do not. Also I open a new window in a current session, my app tabs do not save between windows. I would expect them to be on every window I opened; otherwise, they'd really be no different from normal tabs.
Also, Firefox says that when an app tab updates, it will highlight. However, my hotmail app tab and my facebook app tab will not highlight no matter how many emails or facebook notifications I receive.

Is there a way to have the app tab save the page you pinned. For example, have it save my facebook wall and have it open my facebook wall when I restart firefox instead of having it load a friend's profile page?The app tabs feature is still in a relatively early stage of development. The option to remember app tabs independently of sessions has not yet been implemented, but it will be part of the release version of Firefox 4.

FF Privacy and FF Sync : FF Sync keeps asking me to 'set up...' becuase [ i think] I have Privacy Mode on and therefore all the cookies are deleted. Is this correct ? Can FF Privacy 'understand' that Sync should be allowed ?

Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, I already did all of these things. As you can see from the below screenshot, the language is already set. Also, this screenshot was taken in Safe Mode, so NoScript is not enabled. About:accounts still says I need to enable cookies for some reason. So, this solution didn't work.... -

In iOS 7.0.2 All and Missed tabs are not showing call history correctly, I have iPhone 4 running iOS 7.0.2 version it looks like there is a bug. Missed call history and All calls (incoming, outgoing and missed) history is not showing properly in a list. Ideally when I click on missed it should show me recent missed call list and when I click on All it should show me (incoming, outgoing and missed) calls list sorted by current date and time.

Basically, just as I said in the above question, frequently, bookmarks won't open when I click on it. If I close firefox and restart it, usually then I can access bookmarks. Is there anything that will fix this?

Thanks for the reply. I never get the option to "Restore Previous History" from History. I don't even have the box checked that asks to delete the history when Firefox closes. I don't know what's wrong, no matter what, I always lose everything. I have the box marked "Show my windows and tabs from last time" for when I open Firefox, but it never shows that, just my homepage. Also, when I check my History, it only shows the pages that I opened since I started Firefox, nothing from before. Even if I were to open up 10 pages now, close Firefox, and open it, the history would only show the homepage that opened this time, not any of the 10 pages that I opened 5 minutes ago.

When use Firefox, and in different tabs open: GMAIL, web normaly, other web, google, conection with my server plesk, ...
Normaly use 6 to 8 tabs in differents sites, some moments firefox run very slow, at the moment, in one web, it stop, dont run and response.
Than, I close firefox, pause 10 seconds to firefox service stop and reopen, it open all the last webs and popups visited today.
Sometimes, it even opens popups that had been closed for some time ago, sometimes it crashes.
In the same day, it success two or three times.It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.<br />

The only way I can clear it is to actually go in and manually delete my history. Help, please! Before a few days ago, my email session would only stay active as long as I didn't close the browser. I believe this applies to all sites requiring a password.
I wonder whether Firefox is not really shutting down completely. Would you mind checking the Task Manager?
After closing Firefox, press Ctrl+Shift+Esc and view the Applications tab. Firefox should disappear.
Then check the Processes tab. Click the button to show processes from all users, and click the Image Name column heading to alphabetize for easier visual scanning. firefox.exe should close within 15 seconds, after all file maintenance is completed. If it is not closing, then some other process may be keeping it running, preventing your session from ending.
If the session is ending, and your "When Firefox starts" is not set to "Show my windows and tabs from last time", the two normal ways you could be logged back in automatically are cookies and saved passwords.
In case an add-on is responsible, you could try starting in Firefox's Safe Mode with add-ons disabled and see whether Firefox still remembers your session.
First, make a backup of your profile folder for safekeeping. To back up Firefox, see [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information].
Next, see [http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode Safe Mode]. Be careful not to "reset" anything permanently if you didn't back up.

If you have multiple exhange calendars can you add appointments to any of them from ical?
We use Exhange calendars in Outlook 2010 which lets you add calendars beyond the default calendar. Do all of your exchange calendars sync with ical and can you edit any of them or only the default one?
