After I exit Foxfire, the last page I viewed is in the startup window

so how can I change this setting. I don't know how it got changed. When I start a session, I would like the last session sites I visited to be closed and just the google page on the screen

Hi Rennee,
Use Tools -> Options -> [General] ->startup
Then choose "Show my homepage"
Next you may need need to enter a suitable homepage (or pages which display in tabs)
In my case if I wanted a google page I may then use as a homepage:
"http://en-GB.start3.mozilla.com/firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official"

Is there a fix/reset to wake to last page/app viewed?

My IPad does not awake to last page/app viewed. I have to turn it off and on to reset. Is this a common issue? Is there a fix?

Ok....I have trashed iPhoto and all associated files and re-installed, run disk utility and repaired permissions as well as repaired permissions from within iPhoto. Have rebuilt, library and database from within iphoto. I have tried to create a new library from within iPhoto and iPhoto Library Manager but the result is always the same...iPhoto crashes without getting past the black window. I have also created a new user and new library and iPhoto still crashes on start up.
The only thing I haven't tried is going into Time Capsule and retrieving an older copy of iPhoto and the library associated with it BEFORE upgrade to 9.2 and 9.2.1to see if that works. Any further suggestions woukd be very much appreciated. Thank you, Penny

Firefox Opens the Last Page I Viewed Instead of My Home Page

I have tried more than one solution found in your forums. Nothing has worked so far. I've put text from the solutions I've tried in the Troubleshooting Information box below.

I have had this problem a few times and came across a solution that worked for me these are the steps i tried before it worked.
I'm using FireFox 4.
1. Go to Tools then options.
2. I went to general and tried Restoring to Default that didnt work so then Cleared the History and that still didnt work.
3. I then went to Pivacy and under History select FireFox will: Never Remember History.
4. Close browser and it went back to my Home Page. I then went back to Tools, Options, Privacy and set FireFox back to FireFox will: Remeber History again and it worked.

I just tried the 'group tabs' function but when I close a window and open a new one, the last page I viewed opens every single time. I can't remove or ignore the group tabs function and it automatically opens with it. How can I stop this?

Before I attempted using the 'groups tab' function for the first time, there was no icon (unlike currently). There is now the icon with for the function yet I am unable to remove it or its function.

Try a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder and desktop shortcut before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

How can I disable the session restore feature after I have closed the broweser window myself?

I don't want to disable ANY other feature at all (e.g. restoring session after a crash), I only want when I close Firefox and restart it to start new on my home page, without any restored tabs whatsoever. I have tried everything on about:config and it won't seem to do the trick.
This is a big privacy concern and I'm really puzzled why Firefox was programmed this way without an easily accessible option to change it.

hello kayjay76, this sounds like a problem caused by some sort of adware on your pc. please go to ''firefox > addons > extensions'' & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc). also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes] & [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner].

After I download firefox the install window does not appear

I am trying to upgrade Firefox on my laptop. After I choose to download the most recent edition, I'm waiting for the next step - RUN - to appear but it does not do so. I've tried this four times without success. Please advise. Thank you.

Firefox does not have a run for .exe which is a good thing for security and common sense reasons.
After you download Firefox you go to where you save the file and run it.

After applying a template to a page design view is blank - I can only edit in code view.

When I apply a template to a page everything is fine. I can see the page elements in design view and code view. I can edit the page and upload it and all is fine. However, when I save the page with a new name or close the page and then reopen the design view is empty, the code view is normal. I would like to be able to see the page in the design view and cannot. I don't know what to do. I hope someone has an idea for me. Thank you.
I am using DW CS5 and pages are ASP.

When you say "template" are you talking about the .dwt Template file from DW?
If so, you may be using it incorrectly. Once you create the .dwt, all of your new pages need to be created via File > New > Create Page From Template and then saved to your site. If you are using the .dwt file and doing "Save As" to create more pages, you're going to run into all sorts of problems.

After installation of cc the cc window is blank and i only see a spinning wheel.

I am new to the cloud thing. I am using a MacBook Air running Maverick.
So I download and then install the creative cloud installer. THat seems to be going ok, and the cloud icon appears on my toolbar. Clicking on it opens a window, as expected, with one spinning wheel in it. nothing else. As if it is waiting for some input, but I can't see any way of inputing anything here.
And this is how it stays. forever. What is it waiting for and more importantly what can I do to now with it?
Seems I am missing something here?

Hm. Thanks for the info. but none of that seems to apply to me.
I done all of the suggested steps.
1) rebooting..no change
2) uninstalling /re-installing ... no change
There is no error message, at least none that I see. (Where would I see that?)
Also, there is no "tab" i could switch away from and back to. All I have is an empty window with a spinning wheel. There is a black bar at the top with the title "Creative Cloud" and a cog wheel menu with the options to 1) help 2) open as window 3) quit.
I don't see any other menus and no preferences to set.
It looks like it's waiting for something, but I don't see any pop up window, or input field it would be waiting for. It's strange.

Can I override a compiled labview 7 app with ini settings, command line options, via a registry edit, or other option?

Besides saving the vi in a position, you also have a property node to determine window position at startup app.
Values can be fix, calculated from monitor specs, etc.

How to decide the last page in smartforms

Hi experts,
I want to display a signature block only in the last page, can anybody tells me the perfect way to decide when it's the last page?
Now I'm using a window with the check EVENT "Only Before End of Main Window", a flag is set in this window, and then use another window for signature block with the condition of flag is on.
This method is not working perfectly, sometimes it works fine, sometimes not.
Please let me know how will you do this, thank you

Try this logic!!!!
I hope you have used table in main window to display items. Just after the table in your main window, create a program line and set a variable(let say "x').
Cretae a separate window to display the signature. In the signature window use a text element to display the required value. Go to conditions tab of text element and set the condition (i.e. check your variable value which you have assignes before) and accordingly your text will get printed.

When I start firefox the page it comes up on is the last page I viewed the last time I was on the internet. It doesn't come up to the home page I selected. I have Windows XP Home Edition

U can include ur text objects here.

Despite setting a Home Page Firefox always opens in the last page viewed. How do I solve this?

I have followed the instructions for setting a Home Page. Firefox always opens in the last page I viewed. Clicking on the Home icon does take me to my Home Page once Firefox has opened.

You can check if you have an user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that sets the browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once pref to true.

Your System Details List shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize some prefs on each start of Firefox.
The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created it, so normally it wouldn't be there.
you can check its content with a plain text editor if you didn't create this file yourself.
The user.js file is read each time you start Firefox and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.
