After I got the update I now have 10GB of new 'other' info on my iPhone, how do I fix this?
I don't know why it happened. I had far less than 1GB before this and now I have over 10GB. All of it was added to the 'other' category and I have no idea of how to get rid of it, where to remove the 'other' information. I'm getting frustrated because I can no longer listen to my music from my phone.
Please help me, if you know what happened!
You will need to go to settings on your iPhone, go to the bottom and reset. This is the only thing that can fix this. The bad part is, your I phone will go back to factory settings. I had to do this on my ipad

Try giving your iPad a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and try again.
How are you charging it? its's best charged plugged into the wall not via USB. So if you're trying via USB, try using the supplied power block plugged into the wall. -
After updating my browser my "open a new tab" button has become useless, how do I fix this?
I recently updated to Firefox 3.6.17 and now my "Open a new tab" + button has become useless, it is still there, it just doesn't work anymore, how can I fix this, any suggestions?
Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

HT4623 I have the updated ios6 but my I tunes will not open at all. How can I fix this?
I don't know how to fix my I tunes I can log onto it on throw the Internet so I know it's the right password. I have the updated ios6 software and have tried everything I can think of. Logging out and turning off the IPad and starting it back up trying to login under the settings/iTunes/login. Still nothing. It states it can't connect when I'm connected to wifi. Do you have a mouse you can use to go to System Preferences and check the TrackPad and see that it is pairing and that the replacement batteries are good? There have been a few users who have had problems with suppossedly new batteries, turned out they actually were not strong enough to pair. If you cannot use a mouse, try a different set of batteries and see if that resolves the issue.
If that does not resolve it, take the TrackPad to an Apple store genius bar and have the techs test it to see that it is not defective. -
I Upgraded to Mavericks. I was having problems being able to run TimeMachine so nothing has been able to back-up since the upgrade. I have tried using Carbon Copy Cloner to back up the hard drive, and have been unsucsessful due to a damaged file at Library/CoreServices/RawCamera.bundle. CCC takes days to try and find only those files it needs to back-up, so I have had to abort the back-up. I used TimeMachine before the Mavericks upgrade, but with Mavericks, it is not recognizing the old TimeMachine data and can't roll back to the previous software (Snow Leopard?).
How can I replace the corrupted files? Do I need to get a disc from Apple with the OSX software and then reload the operating system? Do I need to restore the operating system? Do I need to load Mavericks all over again and if so, how?Thank you so much for your recommendation. In the end, I was able to restore from a version of TimeMachine that I had on my external hard drive. I first tried to restore to the earliest version of Mavericks and it had all kinds of issues with my computer being slow and unresponsive. Seeing that this was not going to get me any improvements, I did a second restore to the last version of MountainLion that preceeded the upgrade to Mavericks, and voila, my MacMini is back to its peppy operation. My computer is now restored and functional again.
I am really puzzled why the folks at the Apple Genius Bar could not suggest this. I had taken the computer and back up hard drive to them, but they told me that my problem was data related, and they don't get into data recovery or back-up issues. But that was ultimately what restored my system back to normal. I think they need to be better schooled on the problems that can be solved using TimeMachine. They had my external disk drive and should have seen that it was capable of restoring my computer and suggested that I go home to try that. But instead. -
I have set up iMessages on my ipad in error now I'm not receiving any messages on my iphone, can anyone advise how to fix this or just undo everything I have done, don't necessarily need messages on my ipad

Somehow my settings have changed. When I open an email and there is a link, my computer won't allow it, also when I am doing a search, my computer won't allow certain links to open.
What I see is "ALLOW" in the upper right hand corner of the screen, and I have to click on that in order to continue my email or do a search. How did this suddenly happen and how do I change it back to being able to roam the Internet without having to click on ALLOW all the time?
Also, I set up Google as my home page, but it won't list Email or any other options. I have to type in Google in the Google box, then Email appears. How do I get the right Google set up as my home page so I can access Email without jumping through hoops.

Can you start Firefox in [[Safe mode]] ?
You can also do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

Sometimes and this is network dependant if they suspect the phone to be lost or stolen as in this case with change of Sim card and provider then the origonal network can and some will block the phone untill you have rang them and proven it's not the case or if you have bough this 2nd hand then the origonal seller may have stopped paying the contract bill and thus the phone is blocked

My mac is the OS X 10.8.3. I tried to update the latest Adobe flash player and kept getting 'Actionlist not found.' I have uninstalled, enabled and disabled plug-ins and am still unable to download the update and now have no flashplayer at all. Help!
PS I'm still new to Macs so the more broken down the better.Adobe Flash Player 11.8.800.42 is the most recent version from Adobe. It is a pre-release version. I am using it without any noticeable problems.
