You will prbably had other sync setting than the default ones
Check if the option "Only sync marked songs" is checked.

This may sound stupid, but I'm gonna throw it out there anyway. Is it possible, that if I have enough junk on my desktop it might disrupt the signal? It seems odd, but it kind of looks like my signal is strong and relatively steady now that I've cleaned my desktop. I do tend to get very cluttered. I use a lot of reference images and save text clippings to use later... it just piles up very quickly.
So, I wonder if all that extra effort my system has to do keeping up with the junk might have something to do with the drop outs?

I have the EXACT issue as Hatchs88 and the response doesn't help. I found a 3 of 4 missing songs as "song".tmp file in the music directory but I can't do anything here... Hi Dan,
If the song does not appear in your Purchased folder, then you can go back to the Store, select the song again, go select "Buy", and press Enter. iTunes knows you already purchased it, so it won't charge you again. It will, in fact, tell you that you have already purchased this item, and will ask you if you want to download it again for free....
Just in case it is not to be found in the Purchased folder!

I have 4 charges of the exact same amount on my debit card account and I DID NOT make them. How can I get iTunes to refund my money?

I tried entering in a new debit card number into my iTunes account yesterday, from my ipod touch. For some reason it was telling me the information I entered does not match my bank account. I tried 3 or 4 times, but to no avail. I figured I would wait until I was at home & do it from my home computer. About 5 minutes after putting my ipod away, I got a call from my bank saying that there are 4 charges of the exact amount that were charged from iTunes just minutes after each other and they wanted to make sure they were not fraudulant. Well they ARE!!! I did NOT authorize any purchases and now I have 4 charges of $34.78 made to my bank account that I didn't make. ITunes only offers online support...ERRRR!!! My bank told me that it is iTunes responsibility to refund the charges. WHAT DO I DO?????????

I just got back from Afghanistan and discovered two fresh charges for $40.00 from itunes on my Visa account. I havent bought anything from I tunes in over a year. And sure as **** not worth $40.00. The Bank rep told me this has been happening a lot and credited my account for the $80.00 worth of unauthorized charges. Also had to have my card cancelled and get a new one. Apple itunes had better get their **** together and aggressively put a stop to this. Or I will. In court, if it happens again. This is happening in their name. Sync with iTunes to recover these things.
Connect the iPad to your compter and launch iTunes. Select the iPad on the left side of iTunes and then click on the Apps tab. Go down through the list and select all of the apps that you want to put on the iPad. Do the same thing with the photos. Make sure that the headings - Sync Music and Sync Photos have been selected and then sync again.
If you have changed the configuration - you will have to click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes.

After a recent 'update' from Firefox The additional "tab" which used to be at the right side of the primary tab is gone. On the far top left of the page, under the word "File" in the menu bar is a link that opens up a second completely new Firefox page. I do not want this. I want the tab to be in the original position to the right of the primary tab. I have been to 'trouble shooting', tried 'extensions' information and gone to the 'add-ons manager'. Nothing is working. There is only one solution: create a new Standard user account and set it as your auto login account, if you use that feature.
Using what you describe is mostly a false sense of security. Were someone to hack into the computer they could hack into the standard account, so you would not wish to keep any sensitive data in that account. Other things to consider:
Turn on your Firewall in Security & Privacy preference panel.
Use software to mask your online presence such as ProxyCap 2.03, MacProxy, Proxifier, or Hotspot Shield.
