After I restored my iPhone 4, I click Configure.. and it freezes and turns off. help?
I´ve tried to restore my iPhone 4 twice now, and every time I get to the configuration thing (after turning on the iPhone) it just crashes and restarts?
And when I plug it in to my mac, iTunes just say: There is a problem with your iPhone
Does anyone else have the same problem or know a solution? If so.. please help me. Its really annoying.
You'll have to force it into recovery mode and restore it again (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808). If it continues to fail, you'll have to restore it as a new iPhone, without using your backup.

A sure way to check is to connect the phone to iTunes on your computer and click Restore iPhone (not Restore Backup). If the phone is unlocked near the end of the Restore iTunes will display "Congratulations. Your iPhone is unlocked."

Received an authorized unlock code from apple/AT&T for my off-contract 3GS (8GB). Per the “Completing Authorized iPhone Unlock” instructions, I connected to iTunes to back up and restore so my iPhone can be unlocked! But after the restore my iPhone is stuck at the activation screen, it will not activate saying “Your iPhone cannot be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable”. I tried this again and again for countless times, no way! I have my old AT&T simcard and other carrier’s simcard. Both will not help. Please help me to activate and start using my phone.

I got like the same problem, last days I get message to restore my iPhone, so I did it yesterday and it work very well. In the afternoon I saw that at top in the left corner show invaild sim card or so (only knew the german version). so I restore it again but now it won`t activate after I enter SIM-PIN and it accept it, it shows "No Service".
Anybody can help? My Carrier is o2 Germany.

If you synch your phone to your computer via itunes,it performs a backup prior to synching. You can check by luanching itunes select preferences>devices,all backups should be shown there. If in fact there is a backup of your phone listed then do a restore of that back up.

So I proceeded and after the process was finished, I retrieved my music and photo files from the back-up. _**Now to get to my point:**_ after I restored the iPhone, all of my applications got deleted, including the one I purchased. Is there any way I can retrieve them back, or do I have to install each one manually? What about the ones I bought? Is there any way I can get those back without having to buy it again?

The backup does not include any iTunes content - music, podcasts, video, or 3rd party apps. All iTunes content including 3rd party apps should be in your iTunes library on your computer. After downloading/installing an app with your iPhone, the app should be transferred to your iTunes library on your computer the first time you sync your iPhone with iTunes after doing so.
You can re-download an app with iTunes on your computer and you won't be charged again for a purchased app as long as you use the same iTunes account to re-download the app that was used to purchase the app originally. -

The iPhone can only sync with one computer. If you synced it to a different computer and you did not first copy the iTunes library from the old computer to the new then your phone's content was erased.

I would recommend performing the following steps in order to stabilize your iPhone.
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see the battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

Hello MohammedFawzi. I understand you're trying to recover your notebook to factory conditions.
If you're unable to perform the recovery the normal way I suggest ordering a set of Recovery Discs directly from HP. This will not only reinstall the operating system but will also recreate the partitions (including Recovery), install drivers, and most of the software.
To order the discs you'll need to contact HP Support in your region. You can visit HP Support Worldwide to locate your region's contact information.

What about where you purchased it? Otherwise, Apple would be the only one that would know. Since you cannot activate the device to see inside of it, you cannot go to Settings and look at any other information. I would think the seller might be able to provide you with that information if you purchased a locked phone.
