After I try adding music or simply just sync my ipod to the computer, it says "an unknown error occured." WHAT DO I DOOO???

but when it says "an unknown error occured" , it doesnt give me any options to do anything!
Error 23, 28, 29: These errors may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow the steps in this article. Also attempt to restore while connected with the white USB Dock Connector cable that shipped with your device, on a known good computer and network to isolate this issue to the device. The MAC address being missing or the IMEI being the default value, (00 499901 064000 0), can also confirm a hardware issue. Out-of-date or incorrectly configured security software can also cause these errors.

Every time I try to purchase a song from itunes, it says I have to put in security questions and answer them, which it's never done before. Then after I do the questions, it says that an error occurred and my changes couldn't be saved. It has been doing this for weeks, and I can't purchase anything! HELP!
Hi mterry1723, one solution that might be worth trying is this:
- Close iTunes, if it's open
- Open Safari and got to 'Preferences'
- Select 'Security' on the top
- Untick all the security options in the menu
- Click the 'Show Cookies' button and look for all the 'apple' entries in the left-hand column.
- Highlight them (select them collectively) and press 'Remove'
- Now open iTunes and buy the song as usual.
- You may be asked to do the same security process as before, so do as asked.
- Hopefully, the security check will now have accepted your answers and start downloading the song as normal.
Remember to re-tick all the required security options you had just un-ticked in Safari preferences. You don't need to bother about opening the cookies again.
I hope this has worked for you and my profoundest apologies if it has not. Worth a go, though!

Just upgraded to latest iTunes for Windows. Rebooted the PC as required after the update. When I start iTunes I get a popup message saying "An unknown error occured (-42110)."

Can someone help me please ? I was using itunes (downloading albums etc) just half an hour ago. I had a pop up asking me if i'd like to download the latest version of itunes, which i accepted. When the update had finshed downloading, i then restarted my computer, as i usually would. I've had the same problem for a month and yet I still cant get iTunes to work, I've heard different solutions but none have worked for me

I downloaded iTunes. I was going to put an MP3 lecture on iTunes so I could put it on our new iPad but I got the message:
