After I updated to iOS 6.0, iTunes tells me "there is a problem with your iPhone".
I'm stuck on the activation screen. I can only select language and country, then it tells me to connect to itunes. In itunes I get the "there is a problem with your iPhone" message. Also, my iPhone keep "searching" for my carrier (Telenor in Norway), but never finds it.

Hi. I would really appreciate if someone could help me find a way to solve my problem. I bought a second hand iphone4 from my friend's friend. I fully trust my friend coz she said this iphone is working but it was handed to her lowbat so i get home i recharge it immediately and after charging it, i open and it shows to select language and country and i did select. After this it shows on the screen "Connect to itunes". Then i plug it in to my laptop and connect to itunes. It shows in my itunes " There is a problem with your iphone". My iPhne is 4S, after I downloading the latest OS 5.1 and extracting and verifying, it came to a point on iTunes where it could not at all, activate my iPhone. A message popped up on iTunes saying - "There is a problem with your iPhone"; We're sorry, the iPhone you connected may be damaged and cannot be activated for service. We recommend that you visit your nearest Apple Store for more information. Please kindly suggest me how to do.

It is a hardware/software fault which you'll have to get the iPhone replaced if you're under warranty. -

One thing you could do is to go into a dfu mode and restore your phone again
This is how u enter into dfu mode
Plug your device into your computer.
Turn off the device.
Hold the Power button for 3 seconds
Hold the Home button without releasing the Power button for 10 seconds
Release the Power Button but keep holding the Home button
Keep holding the Home button until you are alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode -

After numerous call with Apple and trying loads of restore, recovery, antivirus off, latest iTunes downloaded....etc etc......now my iphone say "Device Unknown"
The phone worked perfectly until this update.....no way am I paying for a repair for a fault resultant from a firmware update

I just updated my iPhone 4 to 6.0.1 and now I can't activate it.
When I plug it to the PC and itunes are starting to "Access iTunes Store...", it just stops and give me this:

I live in Norway there are no Apple Stores here.
I have tried every USB ports on my PC, even 3.0.
Every cable I got even two brand new ones.
Another PC.
An recent version of iTunes and the latest.
I've tried restoring in DFU mode.
Nothing works...
The phone has no damage, and it where working just fine until I updated it.
Is there anyway to fix this, downgrade or install SSH?

Another thing I noticed, in the lock screen on the phone, you can see an which you can click to usually see the IMEI, but when I click it, it's just blank...One year.

My iphone 3gs when is turned on displays iphone in center and a arrow pointing right and it says slide to confired. I go thru by selecting English and country USA. After it says "connect to itunes". I connect the phone to my computer (windows7) and itunes recognizes the phone. After just a few seconds, I get this message in itunes " There is a problem with your IPhone. When I disconect it and reconect it again the same message show up in iTunes.
