After I updated to the latest version, the scroll-function on my laptop-mousepad doesn't work in Firefox... Any tips?
The questions sais it all really... It just doesnt work - no matter what i do, the scroll function just doesnt work.
I remember this was the reason why i went back to the old version earlier - but now many sites require the latest version of FF...
Try to modify the pref ui.trackpoint_hack.enabled on the about:config page from the default value -1 to 0 or 1 to see if that makes the scroll pad work.
Close and restart Firefox after changing the pref.
To open the <i>about:config</i> page, type <b>about:config</b> in the location (address) bar and press the "<i>Enter</i>" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.<br />
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.<br />
*Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.

*Preferences can be reset to the default via the right-click context menu if they are user set
*Preferences can be changed via the right-click context menu: Modify (String or Integer) or Toggle (Boolean)

Immediately after updating Acrobat Pro XI to the latest version, the software no longer displays images in pdf docs. All the boxes where images are supposed to be are solid grey. Old documents that worked are no longer displayed correctly and new documents I make do not display images. All grey boxes. Worked fine before the update. Suggestions?

Could you please let me know what version of OS are you using.
Open Acrobat and go to "Edit > Preferences > Page Display" and check whether 'Show large images' option is checked.
Is this issue specific for one PDF?

after update to the latest version, the tinny pic in front the bookmarks disappeared. I think it is called the identity info...
when I go to the website, they will appear on the tap, but when I go through my bookmarks, they are not there, usually they are remembered after the first visit.

You should take a look at [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/latest-firefox-issues this article] that discusses some of the issues with the latest build of Firefox.
There is some information in there that should help you to resolve your issue. Luckily, it is a very easy fix.

I updated Itunes today to the latest version. Windows 7 64bit. None of my drivers work and get an error when itunes starts, about registry setting for reading and writing dvds and cds missing. Anyone else have the same issue. I downloaded itunes again, reinstalled still have same issue.
I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

When I first pull up Firefox it often says I'm not using the latest version. I go to the download page and start the download. Then when its completed and the start page comes up it usually says I don't have the latest version. I went through 8 downloads on Wednesday January 4 before I got the latest. You have to ask that? Because the more plugins you add to a browser the more likely something is going to clash, or simply slow down the the whole thing, particularly if it is a plugin designed for newer model computers. As Niel said, if you don't need it then don't install it. -

What didn't work? Removing everything or just the older version of Bonjour? Did you follow the instructions in the link I provided above to walk you through the process?

I updated my iTunes to version 11.1.4.62, but it does not detect my iPhone 4s any more. I have tried the following ways but still did not work:
Rebooted the computer
Rebooted the iPhone
plugged and unplugged the USB cable multiple times and to various USB ports
Uninstalled and installed the i-Tunes
Signed out the iTunes and signed in again
my USB cable and ports are all ok
my ios version on iPhone is : 7.4.4
my laptop os is windows 8.1 and my processor is: Intel Core i7-3610QM @ 2.30 GHz

Go to Windows 8.1 Control Panel.
Go to Hardware and Sound; Devices and Printers; Device Manager; Portable Devices (look for Apple IPad)
Right-click, then select properties on the menu list.
Under the "Driver" tab menu, confirm the update driver button is not greyed out. If the update driver button is grey and unselectable, you need to select and click "Change Settings" button located near the lower left corner.
Now you can click the "Driver" tab menu near the top, so you can see the "Update Driver" button.
Select "Update Driver".
Select and click "Browse my computer for driver software".
For Windows 8.1 64 bit, it should be located in the folder: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers.
Click Next, and let the driver re-install.
iTunes 11.1.4.62 should open automatically if your iphone is connected already. -

Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. Head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (Although the procedure is for Vista and 7 and you've got XP, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)
