After importing spread sheet,unable to select cells for linking components

I am not sure what causes this. Some times the spreadsheet gets locked after i import it to excelcius. I am not sure what i am missing.
Also when a new version of the spread sheet with minor changes is imported for carrying out the changes in XLF, the new spreadsheet in the excelcius gets locked and i can select any cells.
There should be a simple trick to over come this and please help!

I have checked the spread sheet and it not protected. It used to happen once in while earlier but now i am stuck with this.
Also, on the similar lines, can we import a new excel spread sheet of an XLF and modify the XLF to re link some of the cells? It is not allowig me to select the cells in the spread sheet in this situation also and every thing gets locked up and i can not do any thing!

I think that all your form parameters must begin with alowercase letters, for example
startOfSession instead of StartOfSession
try to rename your selectname paramters.

Unable to select Certificate for Remote Desktop Connection

Hi,
I have created a certificate with below parameter in inf file through a local Standalone 2008 r2 CA & imported it into Computer personal certificate store but unable to see this certificate entry while trying to select it under Remote desktop connection.
Somewhere saw we should have the private key in personal certificate store but didn't get how/where to get that key. Is that the reason, m unable to select this certificate or there is something missing in the input parameter used in inf file. Kindly suggest
what could be the problem.

Problem is resolved now. i have done below two changes.
--> used KeyUsage=0xA0 in inf file.
--> imported certificate through certreq -accept. Earlier i was importing cert from mmc.
I think second point resolved my problem. i even didn't think that mmc & command can make this difference.

Latest thunderbird was unable to join cell for table.

I have just upgrade to ubuntu, and currently face with a few issue.
*The created cell was unable to merge using "join cell" function. Currently was on ubuntu 14.04 64bit
*was unable to select all the content in a single column.

It would appear to me it is just the last row of the table than can not be Joined. Is that your observation as well?

Spread Sheet Couldn't be Imported, Spread Sheet couldn't be opened because it contains cells outside the boundaries of numbers. Has any one had this problem? It is an excel file that works fine on my mac.

When I try to import an excell file to numbers on my ipad i get an error message that says it cannot import the file or open the file because it contains cells outside the boundry of numbers. Any one have this problem. it is only one file that i have this problem with and it is an important one. I have no problem working on it with my mac and my excell for mac.

Number is limited to about 65000 cells so if your Excell spreadsheet is too large Numbers will choke. This is definitely one of the weaknesses. If you don't have Excel you can use LibreOffice which is free.

Numbers switches sheets when I select cell.

I've have a problem with Numbers '08, ver 1.0.3 that has persisted across the last two OSX upgrades. I have a multi-sheet file, and when I select a sheet using the Sheets sidebar, it changes to the selected sheet without a problem. But when I click on any cell on the selected sheet, Numbers instantly switches me back to the previous sheet. After I've switched back to the desired sheet a second time, I can select and modify cells as usual. I have not found any way to get around this problem.

I don't know the answer your problem but I am amazed that '08 is working at all in Yosemite. If you have files that you care about and want to use in the future I want to encourage you to upgrade to '09. I stuck with '08 for longer than I needed to and was happy when I finally upgraded. '08 files cannot be read by the current Numbers and some people are finding it harder to locate '09 to upgrade their files (Still on Amazon at last report). '09 has strong support on these forums with many preferring it to 3. Make sure you upgrade it to the most current version.

Unable To Select Markers For Bookmarked AAC Files In iTunes7

Previously if you have used ChapterTool to add index points to an .m4a to make it an .m4b, now iTunes7 considers it an audiobook only and places them under Audiobooks (renaming the file back to an m4a and reimporting places it under Music by the way) will not allow you to see or select those index points anymore. iPods still show the markers during playback. If you burn a playlist containing such a file, it will burn correctly so someone forgot to add that control to the iTunes interface. I hope Apple will fix this.
Gapless playback is going to take a while to iron out for iTunes and iPods so this is still the only true way to have gapless playback with compressed files on an iPod and being able to see and select the markers in the file in iTunes should be a given.

There is no need to start the MDIS (Import server) if you are importing the data manually.you just open the import manager, login into the repository and select type as XML as per your case and select the remote system (it depends on your requirement) and select the port on which your xml files resides.and enter in the import manager then map you data accordingly and you can import into the repository.
when you want to automate the process for importing the data in repository then you will need to Start the import Server. In that case import server automatically pick the file from the ready port folder and also set the property in console as the processing type is Automatic.

Tab key selects cell for edit in JTable

I've seen extensive posts on this forum for this problem, but no solution yet.
I have a Jtable, with custom cellRenders and cellEditors. Some columns are editable, some are not.
What I want to do, is when someone tabs to an editable cell, that cell immediately goes into edit mode. This means, it acts as if someone double clicked on it, or tabbed then clicked on it. Basically, I want it to ACTUALLY go into edit mode.
Please do not respond by telling me how to make it look editable (highlighting, etc) and do not respond with mouseEvent solutions. Please do not respond by telling me to do table.editCellAt(row,col) because that does not kick in my custom editor, it uses the defaultCellEditor.
So basic question:
How to kick in editing when someone tabs to an editable cell?
If you need code examples, please request and I will post.

In JTable:
Look into the processKeyBinding method. It takes a keyevent and matchs it with an InputMap, and the InputMap invokes an Action in the corresponding ActionMap.
You will have to call yourJTable.getActionMap(), then alter the action that corresponds to the 'tab' key.

The problem is that ,for the schemecode 171095, since there is no data for ASSET_TYPE "Loans To Govt",no cells are generated for this SCHEMECODE and ASSET TYPE.
But the requirement is to generate blank cells.
If needed i will send the template at xml files also.

Unable to select folders for Creative Centrale sync

I have a Zen X-Fi wireless LAN MP3 player, bought yesterday. I keep the files I want to sync to my player in the folders Shared Music, Shared Videos, and Shared Pictures.
I keep files waiting to be edited/finished in My Music, My Pictures, and My Videos.
How do I get Creative Centrale to sync the files in the shared folders and ignore the files in the My Documents folders? At the moment I can add the shared forders to the watched folders?list with no trouble but it seems impossible to remove the others as they are greyed out and appear to be hard coded onto the software. As a result a lot of unfinished files are in the sync list which I obvioiusly do not want.

I don't understand what you explain, but i'll try to help.
You have selected to view by tags, its selected in the upper line of icons, the one next to downloads folder icon, you can select to order by other things (date, name, etc...), but even in tag view you have the no-tag-list so you don't need to add tags to everything.

Unable to select DVD for booting

I've searched the forums but did not find anything that helped solve my problem so I'm posting a new question here.
My system is a Mac Mini Core Duo with OS X 10.4.8.
I've just recently discivered that my hard drive need to be repaired so I decided to boot using the AppleCare DVD and fix it from there. The problem is that the DVD will not boot, actually the DVD will not even show up as a bootable option.
I've trying booting while pressing option-key and it will only display my hard drive. I've tried setting the boot drive using System Preferences but even there I will only get the option to boot from hard drive or netboot.
I 've tried to boot with the AppleCare DVD and the grey OS X DVD but both fail to show up as bootable drives.
I can read the DVDs just fine when I boot into OS X so my drive does work. I've even tried buring a new bootable DVD which verified ok but does not show up as bootable either.
I've reset the PRAM maybe 5 times byt now. I've also tried unplugging the mini for 15minutes but still no go.. HELP!

Anyway, the issue here is that I still cannot boot from a DVD or CD. Actually I just tried booting from an external firewire drive and even that fails to show up at boot.
It's not a surprise you can't boot from your AppleCare disk. Someone else already mentioned that Apple is really slow about keeping the AppleCare disks up-to-date with their computers. For now, the only solution is to download an update to TechTool Deluxe that makes it compatible with Intel-based Macs. But, this update won't help you boot from an already manufactured CD.
Did you reformat/partion the FireWire hard drive with the GUID partitioning scheme? If not, you won't be able to boot an Intel-based Mac from it. Chances are you'll have to reformat the drive and then install your Intel-based copy of Mac OS X.
And, just to be clear, you've got the grey Mac OS X Install disk that came with your Intel-based Mac mini in the optical drive and when you restart and hold down on the "c" key, the Mac mini does not startup to the Installer? What if you restart and hold down the "option" key? (It may be the "alt" key on a non-English keyboard.) You won't be able to startup from a retail copy of Mac OS X.

Exposée dies after a while, also unable to use hotkey for spotlight

I recently upgraded to Leopard and am having an issue w/ exposée. Every so often exposee will die. Hotkeys for it won't work and neither will hotcorners. Only thing I can do (that I know) is reboot machine to get it back. Anyone has had similar experiences? If not, any one knows what to kill/restart to get it working again? Thanks

yes today for first time a bunch of my hotkeys stopped working, including the expose ones. In addition the spaces one, and cmd-tab to switch apps, and PTHPasteboard hotkeys don't work. very frustrating.

Autocad 2010 drawing pasted in microsoft excel 2007 spread sheet not visible after converting excel

Hello, I am having an issue with Autocad 2010 drawings not showing up in a pdf document. Normally, I cut and paste part of an Autocad 2010 drawing into a Microsoft Excel 2007 spread sheet. Then, using Adobe Distiller, I convert the Excel spread sheet into a pdf document for propriatary purposes. However, recently the drawing pasted into Excel will not fully appear on the pdf, the drawing is cut off past a certain point. The drawing will print normally in Excel, but in pdf will not print normally. If the drawing is shrunk below the "cut off" point, it appears normally. If the drawing is expanded above the "cut off" point, any additional image is lost. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem would be appreciated.

Error message using SQL import and Export Wizard with Excel spread sheet

I am trying to import an Excel spreadsheet using the Import export wizard that is provided with SQL 2014.
Everything seems to set up OK but then when I go to do the transfer "error message" comes up saying:
External Table is not in the expected format.(Microsoft Jet Database Engine).
This is a spreadsheet and there is no database, that is why I want to import it into a database!! So the reference to JET is a tad disappointing.
So why the error and how do I fix the problem?
As there are over 100 variables in the spread sheet rows, it would be great to have this automatically create the database and populate the fields.
I am using SQL 2014 Express and Office Excel 2013.

When import a .xlsx file to SQL Server using SQL Server Import and Export Wizard, you see a “External Table is not in the expected format.(Microsoft Jet Database Engine).” error message. This error message seems that the Microsoft JET Database Engine is
unable to handle something that is contained in the file.
So please make sure there is no unsupported content in the Excel file. Alternatively, we can use ‘Microsoft Excel’ as the Data Source, then Select ‘Microsoft Excel 2007’ as the Excel version to import the excel file.

Unable to select individual chapters after burning to DVD.

I created a wedding DVD with six different chapters in IDVD. Five are videos and one is a slide show. After burning the disc everything seemed fine except I am unable to select the chapters in my DVD player. Is this because I used a DVD+R DL for the blank media instead of a DVD-R DL? I had to use a DL disc because of the size.

This been hunting us in several versions - and never been corrected.
To set it of - You make a movie in iMovie or FinalCut - With Chapters
Import it into a new project in iDVD
You see something in need of correcting
Return to Video-editing program (application)
When back in iDVD - it will notice and ask You to either
• Up-Date - or
• Cancel
NON WILL WORK
Resulting DVD if made will
• Play movie OK
• All Chapters (Sceen Selections) - WILL START AS Chapter ONE !
Medicine:
• In iDVD Trash old movie - AND - Clear iDVD Assets - OR -
• I favor - Create a Brand New iDVD PROJECT - and do not go back if not very important
