hello, please start firefox in safemode (by pressing the shift-key while it is launching) & go to ''firefox > options > advanced > general'' & disable hardware acceleration.

We have an instance where in After submitting a request the find button does'nt work and we have to close it and again press view->Requests. I think there is a bug for this in R12.1.1 as i have read some where in metalink. But can't find now. Does any know of this document or method/patch to fix this.

Can you find any errors in the application.log file or in the database log file?
Do you have any invalid objects?
Try to regenerate the form via adadmin and see if this helps.
Also, if you have any other identical instance, please see if you can reproduce the issue.
If none of the above helps, obtain the FRD file as per (Note: 438652.1 - R12: Forms Runtime Diagnostics (FRD), Tracing And Logging For Forms In Oracle Applications) and see if more details will be collected in the logs.

I could not locate the files referenced in the answers presented.

Firefox no longer unpacks an extension automatically, but renames the XPI file to the ID of the extension and copies that file to the extensions folder in the Firefox Profile Folder.
If an extension needs to be unpacked then there should be an unpack directive (<nowiki><em:unpack>true</em:unpack></nowiki>) in the install.rdf file of that extension.

You can try to set the extensions.alwaysUnpack pref to true on the about:config page.

Error after Installing PDK - (404 The requested resource is not available)

I recently installed my PDK over my existing Portal 6.0 using SDM Tool. I downloaded PDK_6.0.14.0_BusinessPackage from SDN. I deployed pdkcontent6.0.14.0.SCA file using the SDM Tool. It installed successfully. But when i go and check the links under 'Portal Content Development ' , it gives me a 404 - The requested resource is not available.
Please help out.

Help! After installing security update...powerbook will not start up....

I need some help please. After downloading the latest security update for OS 10.4 and then shutting down my computer. I turned my computer back on and now its doesn't start up. It's stuck on the gray screen with the spinning wheel.
I tried to boot up in safe mode by turning on my Mac and holding down the shift button but it didn't work.
Any other ideas I can try.

My White Macbook is stuck at the loading screen, and disk utility, safe mode doesn't work either. What should I do?

I went on vacation a few days ago and in El Salvador, they have this mobile broadband sticks. Well, I was using one until it gave me a network error. After that, it shut down my computer entirely. The first time it happened, I didn't think much of it. I took the battery out and put it back in for it could work. It happened another two times, and after the third time, my MacBook stays stuck at the loading screen, and it will take 5-10 minutes on that screen, before it shuts down, or it wouldn't turn on at all. I've tried booting into safe mode, but it appears to not boot into it. I've tried resetting the Pram, and using disk utility, but that still won't work. I don't know what else to do to make it boot into OS X Lion.
I'm an AP student, and the majority of my work is in that computer, and it is very important! What can I do? Not only that, but I enter school in a few weeks and I need the AP work by the time I enter.
What can I do? Can someone help?

Reinstalling Lion Without the Installer
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alterhatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer.

I can't install yosemite, got the error message, that i have to use App Store to download it

I have been reinstalling OSX, but now i can't update to yosemite or install iMovie and iphoto again. I just get the message, that I have to use app store t download the programs, but i'm already using app store, any one who knows what to do? I already have the Mavericks installed.

OS Recovery
Boot up from your computer by holding down the command+r keys. This will take you to the recovery drive.
Select Disk Utility & hit Return.
In Disk Utility select the HD on the left & click on Repair Disk (bottom right).
When done, go back to your desktop by restarting your computer. Try the AppStore again. If still not working see if Yosemite can be downloaded from Apple's Download website.

After installing mountain lion the airplay icon does not appear

Your model iMac doesn't support Airplay mirroring. Airplay in iTunes should be available.

After updating to 3.6.7, Firefox will not start on my Mac. Happened also with the last update. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm running updated OX 10.6.4 on an i7.

Last time (a few weeks ago) I had to uninstall firefox and reinstall it. Today I moved the last version to the trash and reinstalled the new version, but it still won't work. I obviously can't do this every time there is a new update. When I click on firefox, the icon bounces in the dock (like it's trying to open), and then nothing happens.

Please set parameter ~webgui_theme with value "sl" in the HRWPC_FC_EXEC service under GUI configuration. That you will find in the interactive options of service data. After saving this service please also run the transaction SITSPMON -> Templates and Mimes -> go to "Invalidate cache" and select System wide/Application server.

If you can't reinstall Firefox yourself then you need to contact your IT department and ask them to check the Firefox installation.
It is possible that some files got broken with the latest update.

After 4 calls to apple and 8 and a half hours on the phone. The apple people does not how to solve the problem. The last thing they told me is that they will send the problem to their engineers and I will hear from them. unfortunately they have not contact me.
During the phone calls I tried putting the date and time in automatic, changing the username and password, I even tried using somebody elses username and password. Please help, facetime is my tool to telecomute, and it is hurting my job.
