After installed Lion, mail can't read the old messages

I have installed LION and all it's OK!!
But only MAIL have a Big problem, I can't read the old messages!!
Someone may help me???

I had the same problem, but this is was I did:
After the old messages was deleted I imported the old deleted messages from the ~/Library/Mail/V2/INBOX.mbox
After the import was done I moved/dragged the messages from Imported to the acoount where they were deleted from

After installing Lion I can't I boot from the Techtools CD. I have purchased the upgrade for Photoshop CS5 because CS2 does not launch in Lion 10.7.3. However I need to get the serial number for CS2 for the upgrade. I have waited over 30 minutes for the boot but never get more than the Apple logo. Any ideas anyone?

Boot disks can't change when the firmware changes, lock you out.
Techtools obviously uses Linux as a boot OS, so you need a Lion version.
CS6 coming out in about 30 days, for 10.7 and 10.8

I can not find it in Disc Utilities - so I can not repair it.
I also haven't found any Driver for the HDD to do an update.
My Mac is running on the most recent updates of OS Lion.
The HDD worked before. It contains my former Time-Mashine Backups. I would like to use this drive again. It isn't very old yet.
It would be much appreciated if anyone could help.

OK, try restarting in Safe Mode and if that doesn't work try resetting the SMC and PRAM.
SMC RESET
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord and ALL peripherals.
Wait 15 seconds.
Attach the computers power cable.
Wait another 5 seconds and press the power button to turn on the computer.
PRAM RESET
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.

I had the similar problem, where my windows option went missing after installing Lion. I gave up trying to resolve it and did a clean installation on windows again by re-configuring my Windows partition & install Windows 7 on it. It seems to work well for now...
Apple should have warned us that the Windows partition will be unreadable when u install Lion. Hence, allowing users to back their files up on Windows environment before installing Lion.
Thank god I did not have any important files save in Windows.

After installing Lion, macbook doesn't read cd

My macbook doesn't read bland cds/cd with media on it. It doesn't show up in itunes or finder. Everything was fine when I had snow leopard. After installing Lion, my macbook has stopped reading cds.

they dont show up on the desktop but if you go to burn a cd in itunes with the cd recongized there? there is a setting under finder prefrences that allows you to turn off hard drives and cds and such to not be visable on your desktop, but it would be if you opened up the finder or itunes, also the first time you put in a blank cd it will ask you what the default program you want to use it with is, and if you click dont ask again it wont, but it will still be avaibale....is it not working all together or ust not showing up on your desktop

Mac OS 10.7 Lion "Mail Can't Verify the Identity of "-Server-".

This has been an issue for years, but didn't really become a serious problem until another issue (See ~ Massive Deletion of Junk Mail Lockup) conflicted and locked Mail App. I must force quit Mail to try another tactic.
Upon launching, nothing has kept all the "deleted" messages from all reopening (this takes about 10 minutes) and not being accessible because each account sequentially has pop up windows that are not responsive.
Either the host server's certificate is not valid or Mail doesn't recognize the certificate, so each time I launch Mail, it asks what to do for each account.

Great. I've done nothing else and it has resolved itself. I hate when that happens because I can't conclude what the final fix was. I can only guess that accepting the wildcard SSL fixed it since that was the last thing I did.
So, I can only conclude at this point that accepting the SSL and rebooting(?) fixed the issue.

You most likely need to open Mail>click on the word "Mail" in the Menu bar> click on "Preferences">click on "Accounts">now enter the correct information from your ISP for the Incoming AND outgoing Mail Servers, that your ISP provides you with>also enter your user name, email address and password for your ISP email account.

Windows 7 Enterprise is not genuine after installing new hard-drive and cloning the old one

I retired from my job as a university professor two years ago, and they let me keep my laptop computer, which is a Dell Latitude E4300 with Windows 7 Enterprise installed. I do not have any of the original disks for Windows. Recently, the hard-drive began
to fail, so I replaced it with a new one, cloning the old hard-drive onto the new one. Soon after that, a popup window began appearing saying that this computer is not running genuine windows. One important consequence of this is that I can no longer use Windows
Update, so I have concerns about security. If I go to the control panel under “System”, it says windows is activated and gives me the Product ID. I have talked to tech support at Microsoft, and they tell me something along the lines of the following: that
the problem is the new hard-drive is not recognized as being licensed to use this copy of Windows, and that I should post a question on one of the forums asking this: How can I reinstall Windows 7 Enterprise on the new hard-drive? Any assistance will be much
appreciated.
PS I have no idea which forum this should go under, so pretty much just picked one randomly.

I just bought an iPhone 4s and synched it yesterday. I backed up the old phone (a 3GS), then restored all that to the 4S. It generally worked well, except it truncated all SMS messages after October 20. Can I get the new messages on the new phone?

It generally worked well, except all SMS messages after October 20 were not there. How do I get the newest messages from the old phone on the new phone? (I wouldn't mind getting ALL the SMS messages...)

After installing iBooks app, can't get the screen off of App Store

I am new to the ipad, and I can't figure out how to get the iBooks app page cleared from the App Store. Any advice "

Typically all that you have to do is to tap the screen anywhere outside of the window that pops up that the describes the app. When you tap the screen outside of that iBooks window, the window should disappear. If the iPad screen is frozen, try closing the App Store app and reboot your iPad.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the App Store app and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

After installing Lion, I get an audio "instillation failed" message every tine I turn on computer. everything seems to work except microphone on roseta stone software.

I have reinstalled OS Lion with same results.

If you have an older version of Rosetta Stone, it was coded in PowerPC code which Lion is not capable of executing. I understand that they either have or will have a new version that is compatable with Lion.
