After installing Firefox Synch. Adobe Acrobat hangs. Remove and is okay. Reinstall, Acrobat hangs. Any suggestions?
I installed Firefox Synch on two Macintoshes, an iMac and a MacBook Pro, both running Lion OS. Running Firefox 7.0.1 and Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.4.6. Synching works fine, but on the MacBook Pro, now Acrobat hangs doing simple chores. Okay again if I remove Synch and problem returns if I re-activate the iMac Firefox Synch. Have restarted and run disk permissions repair. Any suggestions?

I work on a iMac Intel Core 2 Duo - OSX 10.6.8 I rely on using AppleWorks v 6+ (Classic mode -Rosetta) I have over 3000 records in an AppleWorks data base and do not want to lose these records.
Also, I run two Operating Systems on my computer - one (OSX 10.6.8) in my internal HD, another from a 2TB external HD (also OSX 10.6.8). Although I do not recall doing so, I must have downloaded and installed Firefox v 22 on my "internal" HD. Since doing so, AppleWorks hangs up and sometimes requires me to Force Quit the App. However, when using my external HD (which still runs Firefox v 21) when I launch AppleWorks (from my Applications folder on my "Internal HD) I do not experience any problems with AppleWorks. The problem with AppleWorks hanging up or not responding, began only after installing Firefox v 22 on my internal HD. I have no idea why but Firefox v 22 is definitely causing problems with AppleWorks v 6+
Is it possible to revert back to Firefox v 21 (if I uninstall v 22)?I 'm facing the same problem but I don't want to uninstall better to Roll back to my previous version . 'cause many plug-in ( which is most usefull and important to me ) not supported with my present version V22. like easy youtube .
I want to know what is the benefit if I don't get any better opportunity from upgrade version and also lose my previous version's facility ! -

last night I downloaded 4.0, once the pc rebooted my toolbar was gone. I get a message " Firefox is not able to show the toolbar, please reinstall. But its' not letting me. I've always had Firefox set as my Homepage, that's weird also...I am a intermediate user need some help.

I have just updated Acrobat to version 10.1.13. I am using a MAC Running Yosemite. When I try to scan a document, after the printer scans Adobe Acrobat quits and I get an unexpected closure error. I am running Mac OS 10.10.1. This only started happening when I installed the update of Adobe Acrobat.

Is the printer connected wirelessly or wired?
Go to Preferences and under categories go to > Convert to Pdf then select the Image Capture and then hit ok button.
Close Acrobat and then relaunch it and see if it helps you while you do scanning.

Issues after purchasing CC Photographer, Adobe Acrobat Trial cannot uninstall
CC Photography version, downloaded CC Desktop to Windows 7 64Bit with Lightroom 4 already installed. Downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro Trial. All programs worked in Trial version. After i signed for membership the following isn't working: most critical - Acrobat is not compatible with Outlook 2003. Cannot use Word or Excel, had to fix Chrome Shockwave problem in Chrome Admin Editor. I CANNOT UNINSTALL ACROBAT however i have tried. Secondarily, I PSCC opens, but I cannot open any menu items, same in Lightroom. I have 4MG Ram and external HD. Need to uninstall Acrobat immediately. Thanks!

Since having installed Yosemite my adobe acrobat X crashs as soon as I want to open a file, can anyone help on this issue?
Please try the steps below and let me know if it worked for you
Delete all the files from following folders:
[Home]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLStore
[Home]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLCache
And, delete all files from following folder except cache.db
[Home]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AdobePCD
Then launch Acrobat and try to activate and check.
