After Installing iCloud 4 folder missing

I install iCloud 4.0 for windows.
Everytime when i activate the cloud drive check, nothing happened.
No cloud drive folder in windows explorer to see, only the cloud pictures folder is there.
After reopening iCloud 4.0 controlapp, the check is gone.
Any Solution?

After installing Icloud on PC with Windows 7, Outlook 10 no longer sends messages. It places the messages in the outbox of the Data Folder and provides an error message is not accessible. I have not been able to configure my email folder to receive the sent message to the email outbox!
Also, if Icloud is uninstalled, all outlook email folder are no longer accessible because of lack of access permissions!
The incoming messages work. The newly defined icloud mail capability appears to work well.

You may have already resolved this? but I just realised you may have had the same problem as myself.
1. Connect your iPhone
2. Go to iTunes and click on your iPhone icon in the left hand panel
3. Click Sync tab (you will see sync contacts, mail accounts etc.)
4. IMPORTANT scroll down the page as the sync bookmarks is hidden!

Did you upgrade to Lion just before setting up iCloud? that's more likely to be the issue. PhotoShop CS2 is a PPC program and won't run on Lion - on Snow Leopard it requires Rosetta to emulate PPC, and this is not included in Lion. CS3 and lateer apparently work though with issues.
Click on the program's icon in the Finder and hit command-i. Near the top of the pane it will say 'Kind': if it says 'PowerPC' then this is the problem. It will not run on Lion and there is no workaround. You will need to revert to Snow Leopard (you could install this on an external disk and start up from that).

I found my playlists. They were never removed. It appears that iTunes 11 shows them in a different place. Which is kind of annoying. Even more annoying trying to add purchased songs to the playlists on your iPod.
- Click on the iPod button on the top right of your screen (beside the iTunes Store button)
- Click Playlists along the middle of the top of the iTunes window
There are the playlists from your iPod
Kind of frustrating to add the songs, but the way I did it is:
- Click on the song you want to add to your iPod playlist from your iTunes library
- Click the arrow beside the song and select "Add to Up Next"
- Go to your iPod playlists as per the above instructions
- Click on the list icon in the same bar as the Apple icon on the top of the window (it is to the right of the apple icon)
- Now drag that song to the playlist(s) on your iPod
I am sure there is a much simpiler way....I just dont have time to figure it out right now. If anyone has any simpiler way of doing this, please reply!!

Itunes 10.6 and 10.7 crash after installing icloud control panel

I recently upgraded itunes 10.6 to 10.7 on my windows home server 2011 computer and also installed iCloud control panel 2.0. After the upgrade itunes crashes within a few seconds of starting. I can see the status bar saying that itunes is accessing the store and then the itunes window goes away. I tried removing the icloud control panel, but itunes still crashes. I completely removed itunes and all related components and then reinstalled 10.6. At this point itunes works again so I tried reinstalling the iCloud control panel and not upgrading itunes, but itunes again crashes. An update to my earlier post. I just upgraded to itunes 10.7 and icontrol panel 2.0 again, but before upgrading I turned off automatic downloads in the store preferences. I was able to launch itunes and even click on the store without itunes crashing until I launched the icloud control panel and logged in. Now if I click on the store in itunes it crashes. I tried logging out of icloud, but it still crashes, but only when i click on the itunes store. The error I see in windows event viewer is below. I've seen this error referenced in other posts, but have not found a solution yet. At least itunes is partially functional now.

Outlook 2010 won't open after installing icloud for windows

Hi,
Installed icloud for windows at work this morning after moving my MM account to icloud at home on my MBP.
Installed ok but after ticking the mail, contacts, calendar and bookmark boxes on icloud for windows Outlook 2010 starts but won't open and stays on the "Processing..." for a long time before I close it.
Also the icloud for windows control panel won't reopen except the time it opens after installation. I have tried removing it and rebooting but after it's installed, if you close the control panel it won't reopen although it's still running in Task Manager. Closing it in Task Manager and restarting doesn't make a difference.
Currently I removed, rebooted and reinstalled and only have the bookmarks ticked and outlook works ok but the control panel still won't reopen.
I am on a exchange server so don't know if this is part of the problem. Not real worried about mail but would like calendars working again.
Very thankful for any help you can offer.

I had the same problem after successfully moving from MobileMe to iCloud yesterday on my PC, ipad and iphone.
Today I couldn't open Outlook 2010. An Outlook dialogue box for my MobileMe email account kept asking for the email password, and although I put the password in, it kept re-appearing.
I turned off Norton spam temporarily, because I noticed Outlook was stuck processing the Norton plug ins at opening, and managed to open Outlook but the programme crashed every time I tried to access my email account settings (I thought I would try to delete the MobileMe email account).
I then opened the Control Panel for iCloud and unchecked the Mail with Outlook box, which has enabled Outlook to work again. The @me.com email account was gone when I checked the email accounts. I never needed to use the @me.com email account anyway.
How frustrating and such a waste of my time.
Does anyone know what difference it makes if the MobileMe/iCloud email is not connected to Outlook? Does it really make any difference when you have your email accounts in the iPad and iPhone anyway?

I recently installed ICloud on my PC. Now my Outlook continues to freeze up and I have no emails in ICloud. Not sure what is happening? I logged into ICLOUD and mail is not there either.

Until Apple decides to accept responsibility and fix this issue you will need to get rid of iCloud. It's too bad because before Apple decided to throw out the patch/malware, it actually worked kind of neat. So, this is what I've done to regain control over Outlook and iTunes; re-boot the pc, launch iCloud control panel and sign out, saving data to your computer when asked. Under add/remove programs, un-install iCloud, re-boot again. Go to windows control panel under folder option, second tab (view) select "show hidden files, folders & drives" and select ok. Now double click on your "C" drive and do a "Control F" (for find). In the search box type APSDaemon.exe and hit search. Right click on this file and hit Delete sending it to your recycle bin. You may want to cut this file out of your recycle bin and place it in a temp folder until you are sure everything is working properly. You should now be able to use Outlook and iTunes without them hanging. In Outlook, under contacts you will need to move your contacts from iCloud contacts back to your default contacts folder. Under iCloud contacts do a "Control A" and drag your contacts back to their default location.
Hope this helps, in the future I would be vary leery of installing anymore Apple patches.

After installing iCloud on PC, appointments are grayed out in my Outlook iCloud calendar; don't show up on iPad calendar but do show up on iPhone calendar

I have been working on this issue for DAYS and have searched the web and this support community but can find no answers. I have a PC, iPad, and iPhone. I installed iCloud on my PC so that I could sync calendars, contacts, and maybe tasks. Nothing I have tried has worked.
The iCloud calendar that appeared alongside my Outlook calendar on my PC has all of my Outlook appointments - but they are all grayed out.
The appointments that were on both my iPhone and my Outlook calendar are now grayed out on my Outlook calendar - but if I close my iCloud calendar in Outlook, these appointments are no longer grayed out. These appointments now appear twice on my iPhone.
The appointments in my Outlook calendar appear in my iPhone calendar but do not show up in iCloud in my web browser nor on my iPad (not even grayed out).
My contacts appear to have synced from Outlook to iPhone - but have not synced with iCloud online nor my iPad.
This is beyond frustrating.
Some basics:
Windows 7 Enterprise, 32 bit
Outlook 10
iCloud is enabled on the iPhone and iPad
phone and pad operating systems are up to date
I turned off and then restarted my iPad - didn't work
I turned off and then restarted my PC - didn't work
I uninstalled and then reinstalled iCloud on my PC - didn't work

Duplicate email to single contact after installing icloud

Since installing icloud, I am getting duplicate emails in my 'sent' box and 'all mail' box for gmail - but only for one contact. I have outlook 2007 but the duplicate email also shows in my gmail account when I log in directly without going thru Outlook. The contact is only in icloud once with a single email address. The contact is only receiving the email once.

It's Apple. Apple has taken to embracing the good old Microsoft paradigm - your OS knows what you need more than you do. Apple won't fix this 'bug' because it's not a bug to them.. it's intentional. If the last name field is left empty, then the field is filled in if possible using info from other fields. I put fist and last name in first name field because I think in terms of first names and I want contacts sorted by first names for my own quick reference. Apple doesn't like my way of thinking, so it has been incessantly trying to correct it for 4 years. Thanks Steve Jobs Jobs.

Where is my outlook 2010 calendar gone? After installing iCloud I have no appoinments in my calendar. I am getting reminders from my calendar but I nothing is visable. Help!!
