After installing ios6 on my iphone 4, I cannot get my audiobook to play. This is an audiobook I bought through iTunes and shows up under the Music icon, but it will not play it. Tried installing audiobooks to play it, but cannot get it to play it either. Any ideas?
If your iTunes is the latest version, restart your computer and reboot your iPhone. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPhone restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Unfortunately no. The only way the phone backs up is if you make it back up. You either connect to iTunes and backup and sync, or you set it up for a wifi sync to iCloud. But you have to setup iCloud to start with. You have learned a hard lesson on how to make sure you import pictures on a regular basis like you would the digital camera. When things happen to the phone, this is the media that is lost the most (pictures in camera roll). After taking a number of pictures, and especially ones you consider important, you should connect the phone to the computer and import them, so there is a backup copy on the computer.
Contacts are saved in the backup as well, however they are really designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer, or backed up to iCloud or other cloud service. And, the only way to go back in time on the phone is to restore from a backup, but you also have to remember, you would lose everything on the phone that you had done since that backup, so it is a double edged sword. -

Yes, I have the latest version of iTunes for Windows. And when I go into Preferences, it still lists my iPhone as a device back-up, and the date of the last back-up.

I purchased and downloaded two audiobooks to my iPad Air 2 with OS 8.1 they show up, but will not play.
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

Can anyone help/ After installing ios7 on the iphone 4, I cannot connect bluetooth on the phone with my bluetooth car speaker. It worked before ios7. I have restored my phone but it is still not working.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings. This will not affect data. Remove the car speakers from the phone under Bluetooth, and remove the phone from the car stereo. After that place both devices back into pairing mode and reconnect.

I'm all mac-based and followed the instructions for the upgrade to iOS6 software for iPhone but now my calendars won't synq. When I connect to iTunes and run the synq process, it gets stuck on the Calendar step and will not finish the synq process. I have to either wait for it to quit or force it to quit. Additionally, when I try to log a new event or meeting onto the Calendar on the iPhone, it will lock up and quit the app. I then have to shut down the iPhone to get it to open again but it just locks up again when I try to log a new event. Any suggestions? I'm tempted to do a back up and reinstall but don't want to risk any data loss.Hi there,
I am using Rogers, which does support tethering.
The iPhone does not show up in the list of devices in the Bluetooth preference panel. It fails at the Pairing step of the Bluetooth setup assistant.

If you have iCloud enabled, tap Settings > iCloud
Switch Notes off then back on then restart your iPhone.
Hold the power button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off. After it is off, press the power button to turn it back on. -

All email accounts are still fine and not lost but ever since I installed iOS6 I cannot send any new email and I am not receiving either. That includes my Exchange, Yahoo and Hotmail. I didn't loose any old email in my Inboxes.

Mail had been working after the update, but I noticed that wasn't really pushing my mail like it used to before the update. I wouldn't get notifications after the update and when I open the Mail app, it would take much longer to download emails. I decided to remove my Hotmail account and then re-add the account to the phone to see if that would fix the problem. No such luck. Now I have zero emails in my inbox on my phone when there is new email sitting in my Hotmail inbox on my laptop. I've tried to delete and add the account multiple times now while rebooting the device and nothing changes...I've looked into other fixes mentioned here that say to change the settings on cellular date, airplane mode, push vs fetch, etc. and nothing is working. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Each time? every day? Just plain crazy! Updates happen automatically on your mac....why not the same thing on ipad/iphone?
If the app was purchased on my phone with my account, surely they do not need to "verify" my credentials each time. If my phone was stolen and someone purchased a $20 app surely my $300 phone is more important?
They need to come up with e better solution...when we all have hundred or thousands of apps on our devices what then?
