After installing last Flash update, YouTube videos only open after complete download.
I'm using Windows 7, x64, Firefox 8, since it appears. Yesterday a Flash update flags on my screen and I accept it. Now, videos from YouTube only start when they are completed downloaded. For example, a 30s video starts almost immediately while longer ones takes more to start. I just checked videos until 3 or 4 minutes, no patience to wait for longer ones.
I think the problem is in Firefox because this delay doesn't occur with IE, where the video starts immediately and keeps playing while downloading at the same time (as it always was in both browsers).

Able to only view some clips after installing latest flash update
I find that I am able watch some clips, but only after having switched to a different quality setting as with this clip: http://www.break.com/index/worlds-fastest-roller-coaster-1955594
which will fail to run at 360p, but will run at 480p. Same problem with other clips, but if there is no option to change the setting, I am unable to play any clips.
I have uninstalled the flash update and reinstalled, then updated my graphic card driver, cleaned hd and have seen that it will play all clips sometimes for awhile and then go back to having these problems.
My connection is 7mbit.
Ideas?
TY in advanceI went to the site that you linked, and I can see the clip at 360p, but with lots of buffering breaks (my connection is 1Gbps), but won't load at all at 480p. I think something is wrong with that site.

I've updated flash, reset Firefox, restarted Mac. Youtube videos will not load with Flash. They open with Quicktime in a 1x2 inch box of low res images with no audio.
Open up your preferences/Options and open up applications. From here check the preferences for youtube files. In about:permissions you can check the preferences for youtube.com as well.

Yesterday (april 22) I install the last Security Update 2014–002 from the Mac App Store. After rebooting the computer, I haven't been able to run some apps I use frequently, such as Boom Device, Dropbox, Google Drive, wich didn't show in the menu bar anymore and don't run even when clicking on their icons; or apps like Audacity (open source sound editor), All2mp3 (sound files converter to mp3); and other apps bought from the Mac App Store, as Funtastic Photos. This problem affects even applications as Word, Excel and Powerpoint... I think the problem has reached it's highest levels and I would like to know what can I do in order to reverse my iMac to a "normal" life... I should say that I haven't had any problems with any of the several Web Browsers I commonly use...
I have the sam problem with Firefox and Word. Annoying, please help me. Word does not open at all(still Excel and Powerpoint do, Firefox get a lot of problems, and shuts down.

After installing the latest update my iPad keeps crashing after about 2 minutes.
After installment iPad keeps crashing and tries to reboot by itself but can't. So I have to manually reboot by holding the 2 buttons down. But eventually crashes against after start up. Anyone else with this problem? My iPhone works fine with update.
Same problem here but not sure when was last time I backed it up. So trying to find alternate way. What if I'm trying to restore to default and it crashes during?

After installing Java 6 update 11, unable to open .jnlp files.
Appears to download application then quits without an error message. When clicking on the .jnlp file again, nothing happens. I can go into java preferences and remove the application from the cache, but it does the same thing, redownloads the application then doesn't open it.

Did you get this resolved yet? Mine disappeared yesterday. One of the guys at work found it in a folder I created with some other items. I hope this helps. If not you can still find your camera roll by clicking on your camera, click the button on bottom left, then you will see camera roll at top left. I hope this helps.

In trying to install a Flash update on my Mac (version 10.7.5), I'm getting an "unable to install metafile" message after initialization starts (at the 25% point)—regardless of the site from which I download the installation folder.
Hello everybody, good news: after upgrading to Mountain Lion 10.8.5 I've been able to run the installer and all went fine.
Mountain Lion allows user to force execution through the context-menu (CTRL-click) Open command and it does work, just that simple.
So my advice is: if you want to install or re-install Flash Builder 4.6 on a Mac with Lion installed, upgrade to Mountain Lion or better to avoid problems.
Apple introduced some (not all) Gatekeeper functionalities in 10.7.3 and following, but apparently you need a full-fledged 10.8 to have also what you need to circumvent a Revoked Certificate error.
Since usually OS X has auto updating active, if you are running Lion you end up with 10.7.5 and won't install FB46. If you manage somehow to hold 10.7.2 I suppose you should be able to install FB46, sincerely I didn't check it out. Anyway it's simpler and safer to move on to 10.8.x.

I had 5 videos that I could see in videos apps. But after your last OS update I can't find them on my iPhone. I can see them on the pc in itune when I connect the iPhone and go to videos directory.
When syncing, check the Movies/TV Shows Tab in the iPhone menu, and make sure ALL movies are synced (or select the ones you want to sync)

my 3rd generation ipad even though my battery is at 100 % the screen goes black after sitting for more than 15 mins. The only way to get it to come is by resetting the ipad. Is there a fix for this. It all started after the last two updates.
Try a Reset...

Mac Pro / Mountain Lion 10.8.2 / Flash 11.4 - YouTube videos stop playing after 11 secs. Only just started happening last week - around time when I installed latest Lion upgrade but this may be a red herring. Tried uninstalling Flash and reinstalling with no change. Checked/emptied cache.
There are several topics with similar symptoms, but I don't think anybody has found an answer yet, as it only occurs on some few systems.

I'm transferring the iWorks applications from my Macbook Pro 3,1 with Lion to a new MBP 10,1 running Mountain Lion. I transferred the apps over using DropCopy since the older MBP doesn't have AirPlay. Applications show up but crash upon opening. This is the first install so there are no previous plist, versions or such to delete. All three crashed upon opening every time until I just had to have Keynote and purchased again - although Apple agreed to refund that purchase since my previous version quit working. Youtube videos only play properly at 240p
I've had an annoying problem for several weeks.
Youtube videos only play properly at 240p. At any rate higher, they are garbled. Audio is fine, but the video is garbled.
Any ideas?
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No luck.
