After installing the new lion, I can no longer send attachments in my hotmail account, I get "attachment Id has bad format". Any ideas?

I took the time to actually set up and sign in to be able to say thankyou for the info - my Apple techs up hear in the North had NO clue on how to solve my problem - sending attatchments is my business and I was out of it since Oct. 14th

I receive an e-mail from a friend lets say....I then send it to some friends....they reply back to me saying... Ha Ha Ha Ha....I then want to reply back but it won't send...saying...Attachment Id has bad format...yet I've sent it once already? I don't get it.
Delete any traces of Silverlight from your HD, you will be able to send attachments normally thereafter.

itunes was working fine prior to installing 11.1.3.8 on windows 8.1 now when trying to access itunes store get error message itunes has stopped working.

For some unknown reason, my Apple ID Password does not work when trying to down load IBooks, Nook books, or new Apps. Everything else seems to work. Any suggestions out their???
I appreciate the info and realize that the Nook App is not related to my Apple account but this too has stopped working. My situation first started with the Nook App not down loading and then has now spread to my IBook and new app downloads. I have checked into my ITunes account and the ID and password are correct and at times when I am asked to submit my Apple password such as setting up this Apple Support Community the ID and password work. My problem seems to be just with trying to use my ID and password when wanting to download new books or apps. I can go into the IBook, Nook, and App stores and seemingly download an item but when clicking on the new book or app nothing happens and I get a message that states it can not get into the ITunes store and it wants me to either try again or cancel. This message appears usually ten minutes after I have tried to make a purchase. At other times when I attempt to download a book or app I lose the screen and the IPad goes into the opening screen. Short of redoing my Apple account or deleting an app and attempting to reload the app (but this won't work because the App store won't load new apps) I don't have a clue what to do.

I have reinstalled OS Lion with same results.
If you have an older version of Rosetta Stone, it was coded in PowerPC code which Lion is not capable of executing. I understand that they either have or will have a new version that is compatable with Lion.

Problem starting up after installing Lion
After installing Lion I get this error message when starting and getting to the desktop:
"You need to restart your computer. Hold down the power button untilnit turns off, then press the power button again."
Starting in safe mode works fine.That could be the wording presented by 10.7 when a kernel panic occurs.
If so, consider first the possibility of an issue with third party software or hardware. -

After installing Lion on my mini, I no longer get a "recognition sound" when I plug in a usb device. Is this normal?
I am not sure any Mac every had a sound for plugging/unplugging USB devices.
You may be right. It's only on Windows that the sound is created and heard.
I know that since Tiger on this MBP, when I plug in my external scanner, I never heard anything.
And plugging in my Blu-Ray recorder also does not make any sounds.
I cannot speak for anything but my Mac laptops, however. Desktop Macs might make a sound.
