After installing Soundboooht from my download, where do I get the scores?

I installed Soundbooth CS3 but I only have the 2 scores that were available in the trial version. Is there a download I missed somewhere?

If you purchased through the Adobe.com website, you should have access to the downloadable installer for the Scores pack. It was separated from the main application download as it's a little over 3 gigabytes in size.
To access the download section, go to www.adobe.com and log in. Click on YOUR ACCOUNT then click the VIEW ORDER HISTORY link. You will see an option for "YOUR DOWNLOADS" If you click this, you should be presented with two download links. One is for the Soundbooth application installer, the other is the separate Scores installer. (Note: It appears they refer to the Soundbooth application being 3 gigs in size - this is incorrect. It is only about 480 megabytes. The Scores pack is labeled with the appropriate filesize.)
If you do not see this link available, please contact Adobe Customer Service at 1-800-833-6687 as this is an installation issue. They should be able to make sure you can download the Scores pack. If there IS a problem on the store site not making this link available, they'll be able to resolve it.

When I installed my Acrobat 9.0 - it appeared to install correctly and I registered it. However, I wanted to find my serial number from the software itself...just to see if I was running the correct version. I can find the version, but I do not see my serial number anywhere on the 'about' AA software. I was used to this on my PC which was handy in case I ever misplaced the box/number...is this available somewhere I am not looking - or did I install something wrong?

If you registered the software you can find the serial number on your Adobe account.

Like most online purchases you would normally receive the order number before the order is processed so you should be patient and allow some time for the processing to happen. If you feel you have waited long enough then you should contact Adobe Support directly and try to get information on your order since you now have a reference for it that you can share with them.

There are no serials for trials. They run without one for 30 days and that's it. If they time out prematurely, there's nothing anyone can do.

This has been a problem for 6 weeks now, I retry when I have time and patience and use my other laptop which is also Windows 7 and runs with no problem.
Every attempt fails when all seems fine on the desktop and I try to log on to Itunes I get the errors.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features(Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (If this won't uninstall press on)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

OK, I understand that new versions make use of facilities that come with new versions of IOS, but there is/was a version that runs on 3.1.3 and therefore, I assume 4.2.1. Where can I get the (old) version that runs on my IOS?

This is standard for Apple. While there is little official mention of the software support lifespan for equipment, typical support has been about 4-5 years for computers. It strikes me that newer items, especially mobile devices, are not built as sturdily nor do they have the hardware upgrade capabilities required to keep up with newer systems. When we bought an iPhone 4S we were told by the person in the store we'd probably be looking at a newer model in two years. The iPhone 3G could be anywhere from 2 to 4 years old, putting it well into.
As for app availability, Apple typically pulls old software versions from its site when new versions appear. If it is a non-Apple app then I guess it is up to the vendor. It is indeed tiresome but it is not at all unusual. Since I only ever run used Macs, I download current versions even though my computer won't run them, stick them on a hard drive, then I have them when I upgrade to a newer used computer. If you run older equipment you have to learn a different mode of operation to exist with the Apple 'new and innovative' but 'forget about the old' philosophy.

A customer service rep gave me a link to download off the Adobe site, but when I try to open the file to run it, I get this error message - "A problem occurred extracting the archive".

Yep. Nothing happens at all. Windows tries to execute the uninstaller, but I don't get any other screen and all activity stops for the MSI. I monitored it in Process Monitor and the MSI executable appears, but is quickly ended, like it couldn't find anything or something.
It's as if windows has a blank entry in Programs and Features, because it used to show the size of the Adobe application in the "Size" column. Now it's just blank. Link to screenshot below:

Note the install date. That's when I was able to successfully reinstall it. Now I can't even do that. I should also mention I tried Revo Uninstaller. It deleted one small registry key, but nothing changed.
By the way, is the CS cleaner supposed to ask for a disc in the drive when you run it? It refused to run unless I had one in it, so I used my install dvd.
