After iOS 5.0.1 problem with headphones
Hi,
i have an iphone 3GS. After i have upgrade it to iOS 5.0.1 the button for raise the volume or to stop the music that i'm hearing on my apple headphone don't work.
The same button on the headphone when i attach it to my MBP work regularly.

dear apple im gonna smash my iphone 4s!! what a rubbish! reception is totally awfull. Im on O2 UK and my reception goes from four to one too often. I thought you have sorted the antenna issues! how can I have full reception, and then it drops to one or loses reception completely??? Wish I kept my 3gs.
Im gonna ask for refund if u dont sort out the issue, which I hope is software related. Does anyone have the same issues?
Secondly, why did you remove the option to turn off 3G and stay on edge. Used to have so solid reception with it turned off on my 3gs. Serious shame on you apple!

Apple take a quick action to solve this issue ... iPhone is one of my professional tools ... If no solution by the end of next week ... Bye bye iOS and welcome Android ...

After Upgrade to 8.0, problems with album purchases.
O.K., ever since I upgraded to 8.0, I have had problems with two albums I purchased after the 8.0 upgrade. Once I start to play the album, the first 2 to 3 songs will play then before the next one starts, my iPod Classic with stop and restart with the Apple logo. What is going on? After years of never a problem with lightroom, yesterday i started wiith Lightroom 5 and today all of a sudden in development mode everything just stopped working. No matter what I do none of the sliders have any effect on the picture whatsoever.

I've never been able to share FaceBook posts nor seen the option using the iOS FaceBook app regardless the FaceBook app and iOS version. I can Like and I can Comment, and if I select a link or video to view under iOS 6, I can use the Share option for the link or video, but not for a post.

After upgrade to ios 6 usb connection problems with car stereo
Hi Everyone,
after ios upgrade to ios6 i am not further able to use the iPhone 4s as music device - having usb connection problems ("not readable"). I am sure, that the upgrade ist the culprit; worked fine before. My car stereo is built in a Volvo XC 60; the device is connected via the standard usb cable by apple.
Any Ideas?

The headphone jack on my ipod is faulty. I think there is a connection problem in the jack of the ipod.
I know it isn't the headphones because i have tried various pairs of headphones.
I got in touch with the place i brought it from and they said to go to Apple directly.
Does anyone know what i have to do to get my ipod repaired? Contact email? Address to send it to?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.I to had a problem with my headphone jack. Here is the problem with the iPod headphone jack (or with anyheadphone jack for that matter) Say you like to take your iPod out side, or you leave it in a humid area with the headphones out of it. Very very very small amounts of water will build up in the jack, and this slowly, after about a year coorodes the copper inside. This has happened to two iPods that I have had. Now the only real problem is that, if what i explained above is your problem, it is not covered under the apple warrenty or the apple care program. If you do have to get a new iPod, I would highly suggest getting an Otterbox Water Proof case. It is bulky, but it will save you a lot of money.

IOS 5.1 bluetooth problem with LG HBS-700
After upgrading to iOS 5.1, my LG HBS-700 bluetooth headset still plays music from my iPhone, but the music controls no longer work (play/pause, next/last track). The phone functionality (start/answer call) still works. Is anyone else having these sorts of problems? I 'forgot' the device and re-connected it, but that did not correct the problem. I suspect its in one of the sub-functions of bluetooth signalling, but I'm not familiar enough with the standard to correctly designate it (I suspect someone in Apple knows it off the top of their head ._. )
Thank you.Oddly enough I didn't have any problems with the HBS-700 on my iPhone 4 running IOS 6. However I got an iPhone 5 recently and noticed today the exact same thing you describe. Call and volume controls work fine, but I have no control at all of any music playing. This totally *****, but I have no idea if its a problem that Apple needs to correct or a problem with the LG which would mean it can't be fixed. Totally frustrated.

MacBook Pro Retina Problems with Headphone jack, Speakers, USB Port, MagSafe 2 and the hard drive
I took my MacBook Pro Retina 2.6GHz i7 to the genius bar to have the headphone jack looked at. I was told they could easily fix it but had to order the part. That day I took it home and returned to the store once I was notified that the part arrived so I could drop it off for repair. 3 days after I dropped my computer off with the genius bar I missed a phone call and returned to my iphone with a new voicemail. It said something like this, "Hello Tim, I just wanted to let you know that we replaced the headphone jack but it turned out not to be the problem and the problem was actually with the logic board. Don't worry though, we went ahead and replaced that for you, however, after that was done, the speakers stopped working but the headphone jack is fixed. We have to order new speakers to put in your computer b/c we don't have those on hand either."
Long story short, they fixed the speakers but, "had to order another part to repair the USB port." So I am waiting for that to be repaired but the dang AC Power to the actual computer does not work now!!! It's not the magsafe 2 charger that I have or the outlets I tried it in b/c I tried multiple chargers and multiple outlets. I am very frustrated! I have been without my computer for almost 2 weeks and still have to take it in at least twice more to get the power working this weekend and then again next week to (hopefully) get the USB port working.
At what point should I ask for a new computer or a refund? I have been using Apple Computers my whole life, I have had 8 different mac laptop models and have not had a problem until this computer. I am very frustrated with the support I have received from Apple as a whole.Contact Apple Customer Relations and let them know that you're not happy. With the logic board replacement, everything else should have been evaluated and fixed at the same time. It sounds as if you just got a lemon. You could plead your case for a replacement unit, I would think, since your machine is being 'replaced' piecemeal...

Acer Liquid E700 problem with headphone jack, not working properly.
Here I am again, what a surprise! Reporting another problem with my 2 month old ACER LIQUID E700. Now the problem is, the headphone jack isnt working properly. When I watch movies, or play music with a headphone or earphone, the dialogue or conversations during movies , or the lyrics sang when playing music, can barely be heard. Also , everytime I connect my earphone it the E700, theres a fast ticking sound, which is faint but you can really hear it, and thats when I realized something was wrong. P.S This phone was never dropped or gotten wet. Im really starting to regret buying an acer phone.Any acer representatives out there who know whats going on?
Well airstrike2014, I do know how it happened to me, it's weird but definitely how it happened, so I was downloading a electrical razor app to scare my friends (I know, it's stupid, but anyway) and the app works by vibrating at full power and playing a electric razor sound, but it would only vibrate (and the app description said that it would make some sounds too) and I tried maxing out my sound but there was really no way to make it play any sounds. I got tired of it 5 mins later and uninstalled thinking the problem was in the app or something, but I go watch a YouTube video right after and no sound was coming out either, even with the volume maxed out and with headphones, so I restart my phone, now sounds play perfectly when there aren't any headphones plugged in but when there are, it now happens what you described there, a tick sound lasting the first few seconds the headphones are plugged in and if I try to play any media it happens that "instrumental effect", other heaphones do the same, so it's obviously the phone.I mean, is it really possible that some kind of problem occurred while trying to vibrate and play sound at the same time? Well it was for me, the phone was fine until then.Sorry for the boringly long post haha

IOS 6 wifi connectivity problem with iPhone 4s
After recently updating both my iPad 3 and iPhone 4S to iOS 6, I began to have problems with my wifi connection on my iPhone. When trying to connect to my home wifi, the iPhone seems to connect but then brings up the "Log In" screen with an Apple website loaded saying the page cannot be found. However my iPad, again also recently updated to iOS 6, has no problem connecting to wifi. Has anyone else experienced this conflict and is Apple working to correct this? My router is a standard U-Verse "2 wire" device. I have performed all the quick fixes I could think of such as restarting the router, restarting my phone etc. please help!
I have a similar fault with my Lexus ct200h fsport, updated to ios 8.1.1 on my iphone4s 64, and the bluetooth sometimes disconnects during calls then re-connects again (by this time the person on the end has hung up) .but bluetooth audio works fine. very frustrating!!

ThanksiPhones bought in the USA are usually locked to the carrier and can't be unlocked. so, if you are using another SIM than the original one, your phone will be locked again to this original carrier after the update.

This is how it all started. When the new update for iTunes 11 came out, I tried to update it. After I had updated it I found nothing had changed. So i tried rebooting my computer and everything and found that still nothing had changed. So I tried uninstalling it. After that I tried to re-install it, but it came up with the
"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package ..." message. So I looked around the internet and found a website that told me to uninstall all Apple products. So i did that. When i tried to uninstall Apple Software Update, it came up with the 'problem with windows' message again. So I used Revo to uninstall it. So I rebooted and tried to install it again. It installed Bonjour and all of the other programs but stopped halfway and gave me the 'proplem with windows' message again. I've looked around and most of the solutions have been to try and repair Apple Software Update, but the problem is, I've already deleted it. So can someone PLEASSEEEE help me fix this problem! (Sorry for droning on)http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall try this an see if it fixes it.

Why won't PDF files print from the internet on my MacBook Pro?
