After the ios 7 update my iphone 5 was ok and now it doesnt work anymore
the display of my iphone 5 is black but when i want to talk to siri i can hear siri talk but my display is black im vefy confused and i dont know what to do ..

Try resetting:
Hold both the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.

After updating to iOS 7.0.4, when I unlock my phone, the volume buttons no longer work, Ringer window just shows as grey. Volume works fine to adjust ringer when receiving a call, also works fine within apps. However, key tones (clicks) no longer function. Also, can no longer power off the phone, it just restarts.
Tried a hard reset (hold power and home, see apple, release). no change
Tried to erase all content and settings and setup as new phone, no change
Also noticed that Friend Finder no longer plays notifications - IE when a contact leaves or arrives from or to a certain location. Worked fine before the iOS update. Even tried uninstalling, hard reset, re-installing Friend Finder, no change.
Problem is intermittent. It seems to fix itself throughout the day.
Someone suggested replacing the charge port on the phone but I find it hard to believe that the charge port mechanically failed directly after the update to 7.0.4.

Hi im a newbie here and i recently bought an iphone from a friend (wahh i know i should have bought it legitly but i wasnt paying that price sorry),
I have a 32 GB Black Iphone 4s and theres a problem.
Yesterday i decided i wanted music on my phone and decided to sync my phone to my itunes and computer..
But lets backtrack first... Earlier in the day i decided to plug a (non iphone heaphone into the headphone port) and much to my ssureprise it worked (all ive ever dealt with is blackberry) unplugged the headphones and a few hours later this is where i synced my phone tried to play music an GASP nothing..in the music app the volume nubs are gray and cannot be moved left or right and no sound is being heard.. also when i tried to check to see if my ringer was going up and down it was displaying the little speaker but not the bar that moves. Read the discussions here and it seemed that we've all been screwed now i love my iphone and all its features only phone ive ever wanted but i would love this to be fixed.
I have tried:
Restting all setting
Hard Reset
Restore
Restore from back
Changing everything imaginable in Setting and nothing has worked
Making a voicenote and i actually got sound and my ringer started to work! YAY right.. WRONG
Cleaning it with nail polish removeer
Brushing it with a brush
Using a paperclip and scraping it
*i did find some fluff but it came out*
After a few futile attempts at trying to play videos and games with sound and getting nothing i have decided its time to put my tail inbetween my legs and hope that someone can help.
Im not sure if was the type of headphones that i used or hat but i need help

I just went to update mt iOS like everyone els does (doesnt everyone like to keep up to date) but after i wanted my full FIVE HOURS (not very please) my phone showed a logo telling me to connect to iTunes. So i did as it requested. After i was connected it told me i had to revover my iPhone 4. I have done this once before on an iPod Touch and it completely screwed it up and I ended up not ohaving an iPod anymore. I need my phone so i am doing the recovery. I'm scared because i didnt have my iPhone completely synced. Will i loose everything??? If i do I will be highly ****** and just might have to go talk to the people at Verizon and just maybe swich to a droid. I have beed a long time Apple supporter but i will not hesitate on swiching because of something like this. I do plan onm getting the iPod 5g when it comes out in October but i still wont have the music i love on my iPhone. So am i pleased with Apple? NOT AT ALL! Please help s to how not to loose everything? Thank you!

Cell Data Usage SKYROCKETED Out of Nowhere (possibly after iOS update) on iPhone 4. What gives?

The problem is actually happening on my wife's phone. She has never used more than maybe 30 megs of data in a given month, and she has had the 3G and the 4 for close to 4 years now. Her phone is either at our house or her office 95% of the time which both have wifi of which she is connected on. All of the sudden, we get texts and emails saying her data is at 65% of 200megs after about 10 days of the month. Then we have a three day weekend where her phone never leaves our house and somehow there was about 50 megs of data used over that span according to ATT website.
After much research I found out that if the phone is not plugged in and goes into "sleep" mode, it switches back to 3G (cell data) in order to conserve battery life (This should be an option or something, seems ridiculous). So push notifications and possibly email updates are using cell data rather than wifi.
Even with all that, I cannot think of anything that would be causing at some times over 30 megs a day being transferred. She is a light email user, her phone is set to download headings only, we have her iCloud stuff shut off, etc.
As one last bit, two days ago we turned her cell data completely off in the settings. She turned it back on for maybe 5 mins while sitting at a restaurant to check facebook, and ATT says there was 13 megs of data sent.
Any ideas? I really dont want to start shelling out more money for what seems like a friggin backend scam to me.

I think I have figured it out. It has to do with my iCloud account. After a lot of reasearch I found a bunch of people with the same problem, and the fix for now is to COMPLETELY DELETE your iCloud account. Simply turning everything off does not work. I immediately did this on my wife and my phones and everything went back to normal.
It appears to be a bug, because mine was only supposed to be updating my "notes" which shouldnt take 30 megs a day. Hope they fix it soon.

After Mavericks update Airplay mirroring doesnt work.

I finally did the Mavricks update and now it won't mirror with the ATV. It will connect but it is a black screen and on my iMac the option for "Extend Desktop" is checked and won't let me uncheck it and I can't check "Mirror iMac". This worked fine before doing the OSX update for Mavricks. I have done all the restarts and what not. My iMac connects to the ATV, just won't mirror.

This does not work in my case.
Situation: we have wifi at home using WPA encryption.
The iPod Touch 8GB connected seamless to this network and anything was ok. After some days i could no longer connect, the iPod told me "connection to network 'networkname here' failed". Deleting the network and reenter the (correct) passphrase was no help, but changing the SSID on the router was helpful: the iPod could connect again ... for several days.
Now things stopped working again. Resetting network settings did not help either.
The iPod can see the network, is asking me for the passphrase and after several seconds telling me: can't connect. On the router log i don't even see a dhcp request, but other laptops work fine with the same wifi network.
That's a mess, i cannot and will not change the SSID every some days just to get the iPod working again.

I am having a really wierd issue as well that is probally related. I dont see 95% of the album artwork associated with my music. Also, it seems as if this has gotten worse since I started using that match feature

I have had used D Link router before, and I faced problems to connect my computer.
Now I bought Netgear, and it shows strongly better than the f.... D Link...
Try:
Settings>>WiFi, and then turn off Ask for Conection;
Or:
Settings>>Privacity, be sure the Location Service is turn on;
Or:
In Settings>>General>>Reset, select "Reset all Adjusts". (Sorry, but it will change some personal adjustments, but will not delete anything at all)

Hi there, could someone help me here please - I can't open the iTune store after I updated my iphone 4 to iOS 7. The problem occurred about 5 days later after the upgrade. There are no error messages. As I tap on the icon it opens just for a fraction of a moment and then goes off and back to the main screen. Other apps are working just fine. I tried following the troubleshooting steps as suggested by apple support, but that didn't help unfortunately...

My carrier provides tethering service and I used it often so I don't think this is from network problem.
What I remember is that after I upgrade my iPhone to iOS 4.3.3 I once activated personal hotspot function and it was hanged.

iPhone 5s 32GB worked perfect until upgrade to 7.0.3
Won't recognise home WiFi network, can't see other WiFi networks in range, association problems with WiFi networks. 3G data also severerly impacted along with complaints that the quality of voice calls has degraded severely.
I've tried:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings x 3 times - No joy
plus
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings x 4 times and backup or new phone setup via iTunes - Still no joy
One odd thing - lower signal WiFi does internittently become available when my PC that runs iTunes is booted up and logged into my WiFi network???
