After iOS 8.2 upgrade, screen no longer displays color.

I have restarted the phone several times.I have played with the accessibility settings (grayscale and invert colors) but that has not solved the problem. when I turn my phone and the orientation switches, I see a brief flash of color, but then it is gone (when grayscale is on there is no color flash).

Dictation problems after ios 8.2 upgrade

I rely heavily upon dictation.   2 problems occur (at minimum) after ios 8.2 upgrade to iphone 6. .
1. I wasnt going to add this dictation bug (feature ;-)) b/c couldnt reproduce the seemingly safari bug when got home, but as I was dictating my first sentence for defect here, it happens in this text box on any line. :-(.
    1. Problem is as soon as dictation types in word Or words, when I hit done, it erases what was just dictated! Happens on even just ine word. (So having to manually type all of this n I stink at typing ie, time consuming).
    2. I can paste characters from noteoad into here...so must be dictation relateD...it seems.

In the calendar textbox, when I dictate a new event (doesnt happen in location textbox) and the last character before it fills up the end of textbox (just before the "x"), it automatically does "done" for me (the beep sounds), it stops dictating, but more annoying is it will no longer allow me to continue dictating in that new event's top textbox. That means I HAVE to type n I stink at that. To reproduce I simply:
1. press the microphone.
2. Type in only numerics 1 thru 17....it will dictate to look like this: 123 456-789-1011 1213 1415 1617
3. "Beep/dong" noise because it hits the end of characters alowed it seems n decides it is "Done".
4. press the microphone
   5. "Beep/dong" noise because it wont let you dictate any more of anything said.
I Couldnt find the entry where google shows someone with what looks like same issue/bug/defect/feature # 2, so entering this.
I Have warranty but cant figure out how to get phone support for iphone (only mac ...last year).
I don't seem to have this problem using i notepad in phone when he gets to having to wrap. :-)
I Have not trieddictation on my mac...yet.

Had the same issue with my Nissan Rogue 2011.
This listed below will fix it...
Go to General > Restrictions > CarPlay -- Make sure Carplay is DISABLED. (The new IOS 8 enables this on default)
Go to General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
The Nissan Rogue radio system was never designed to work with CarPlay. By default, CarPlay feature comes enabled when you install IOS 8. Suckz, right?

I have tried reseting the network settings and forgetting my wireless connection and re-connecting to it. I even backed up my phone on itunes and restored it, factory reseted it. Nothing seems to work.
Also after my upgrade to ios 8.1 my personal hotspot option under cellular data has disappeared.

Upgraded my ipad4 from ios6 to iOS 8 because the new WSJ app required it. HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!!! I can maybe understand some apps being slower but not Safari or Chrome. Apple must be throttling back the ipad4 processor even more with ios8 to force an upgrade to the next gen iPad whenever it arrives.

Sound problems after iOS 4.2 upgrade

Experiencing very poor sound quality after iOS 4.2 upgrade. Bad eq, left channel dropping out, sounds like heavy reverb. Exists with iPod and pandora apps. Tried adjusting eq in settings. Any one else having problems?

Yep I just upgraded to new OS 4.2 on iPhone 4 and I get this static buzz sound when talking to people it's really annoying and sound quality is terrible. What happened? I went back to the shop and they said it's the upgrade and that there is an issue with it. They also said there is no point leaving the phone with them as they can't fix it that it's upto apple to release a patch for the problem. Can we get a fix for this soon before I damage my ears?

You shouldn't have to hard restart and it shouldn't have anything to do with your router. If anyone else runs into this problem try resetting the network settings on your phone. All the steps to do this can be found here http://tekshot5.com/ios-5-1-imessage-fix/
Edit: Some of us don't have the option of resetting our DNS servers. I run my own for example for caching purposes.

Problem with 3G network after ios 6.1 upgrade on iphone 3Gs.

I have a iphone 3Gs and not a 5 or 4 and since my ios 6.1 upgrade it's a nightmare for me. I meet a lot of reliability issue with the 3G network. Before the 6.1 upgrade it worked fine. My carrier provider is SFR. It seems to be a "bug" only with 3G. Maybe it's the same as 4Gs but not corrected for 3Gs.
By example I'm using my iphone to join a Free Number to join a confcall system and everytime after sometimes 3 minutes or 15 minutes I'm automatically disconnected - nobody is hearing me and I have to switch off and to reconnect. Others collegue working with me having a iphone 3Gs meet the same issue as me with 3G network.
Do you plan to release the 6.1.1 version for iphone 3Gs ? if yes ? when ?

After testing workaround to disable WIFI when I'm using 3G network. It worked for 1 confcall during 1 hour !! but for the second confcall the duration was only 6 minutes and the network was cut !!! the workaround doesn't work !.
I'm surprise because I don't find similar issue on Internet with "Reliability of 3G on iphone 3Gs after ios 6.1 upgrade!!".
This morning during a call this message appears "Could not activate cellular data network".

I get the same problem. My settings haven't changed, etc., all imported across from my old iPhone 3 that worked fine. I've double-checked everything. I've even deleted the account and re-established it. Still doesn't work. My e'mail provider says that it's not them as all my settings are correct, and I can connect ok via webmail on safari, so it's not them but Apple, which sounds believable. Can't find a solution.

After ios 7 update I can no longer iMessage

After the latest update I can no longer send an iMessage. I have about 6 messages that were undeliverable. I searched the Internet and found many others are having the same issues. I asked my granddaughter to iMessage me from her phone and she said it went as a text message which I didn't get because I've blocked texting.
I re-booted, reset my network settings as suggested and nothing has done any good. There were postings that Apple is aware of this issue and will do an update thru iTunes.
Does anyone here have any ideas as to why I can't iMessage or what I can try to get it to work again?

I decided I'm just too chicken. I went to the AT&T store this morning to see if they could help me but they said since it was an Apple problem, I should call an Apple Store. I did that and they said if I would come in they might be able to help me. But that would be driving across the bridge to St. Louis County which I will NOT do. Those highways are killers.
I've been seriously considering going with a prepaid plan because AT&T is getting to me. This was probably the final straw.
I really appreciate your time but guess I'll just pass. BTW, the Apple Store said they had NO idea when Apple would update the software to fix this problem since only about 1% suffered this problem. My children had no problems at all. So strange.
I did do the hard re-boot and disabled my Network setting and also IMessaging to no avail.

I upgraded iOS 6.1 on my new iPad last night. I'm watching moving in you tube. After 2 hours screen locked with video screen. Complete iPad Hang. Power button did not reset the device. I have to connect power supply and then hold the power key to restart.

Facebook app not staying full screen after IOS 7.1 upgrade

Just started this morning... did the 7.1 upgrade last night. Not sure if I accessed FB last night after the upgrade.
What I'm seeing this morning is pretty weird... best way to describe it is: the FB app is not fully crashing... if I start it, it throws the FB screen for a milli-second, then it disappears. BUT... it still shows up as a running app, with recent posts shown in the preview window of the running apps section (FB window above FB icon). If I try to maximize it, it goes full screen for a milli-second then disappears but is still shown as a running app.
I checked the FB account info in the iPad's Settings and it was missing my FB acct info. I added the info back in but the problem continues.
I haven't checked every app on my iPad but the Chrome, Gmail, and ebay apps are all working fine. Just tried Maps, iTunes Store, and Garageband and they all start up as expected.

I've had no problems with the Facebook App. Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost.

After Leopard Upgrade, HDTV No Longer Displays Full Screen Apple TV??

Fairly recent Apple convert. iMac is directly connected to HDTV (Mini-DVI to HDMI) and A/V Receiver(Toslink). After Leopard upgrade, I now have a black border, on HDTV, no matter what resolution I choose (worked automatically and perfectly on Tiger). In System Preferences-Display, I am mirroring the displays and have Overscan turned off, because without it, the Menu Bar does not display at all. I am wondering if Apple is trying to force me to buy an Apple TV or if maybe I just need to be patient until the correct drivers come out? Apple told me they were referring my problem to the Engineering Department, but I am not holding my breath. Primary need is to view Photos and eventually rent movies, when HD is readily available. Any opinions, predictions or suggestions on resolving would be appreciated. Thanks!!
