After iSO 5 update, music skips around

After I updated to iSO 5 (after having to completely restore my iPod), I cannot listen to my music. I go and play a song and it won't play. The play triangle shows up but the song doesn't play. If I press shuffle on the Songs category it'll play, but it skips songs and plays the song that suppose to play next. I'm getting really fustrated and am about to break my iPod, please help.

I thought it was me! Im having the same problem. Trying to get a wallpapers folder on my phone, and it creats another copy folder of it, only its named Photo Album. I tried to create a new album and copy all the pictures to the new one, and then remove the other two, but it just removed the pictures from the new album as well. Definitel,y needs to be fixed

I updated to ISO 6 on my Daughters Iphone 4S, my Iphone 4, and I have now received my new Iphone 5 yesterday and now all 3 of them have wi-fi issues. I know its not my wi-fi because My Daughters Ipad 2 and my Wife's Iphone 4 is still on 5.11 and the wi-fi works fine. I cant understand why apple have not been saying what's going on and when they will fix it. I have tried everyone's suggestions on this forum and the Internet. Still no luck.

3GS bass distortion after iso 5 update

As with a lot of people out there who have updated there iPhone to iso 5 and have now found out that their music recordings sound completely terrible. I've read all I can on trying to fix the problem sound check on/off, lowering the volume in iTunes, playing around with the eq, wiping off all my music then re sync and putting it all back on. Nothing has worked all my recordings sound terrible and even worse if you use hi quality headphones or running on hi fi. I've spoken to apple support who have acknowledged there is a problem but have no date to give me on future update fixes. I have also noticed delays in certain functions of the iPhone including delays in tones, lock click, safari dropping out, touch screen locking up so that you can't do anything apart from close down apps or resetting the iPhone. I can live with the rest but not the music distortion. Is this apple holding us all to ransom I.e causing later models to slow down or not function properly so we have to upgrade phone ? All I know is people bought these products because they enjoy their music above anything else, to me having a phone and an iPod in one solves all my problems and apple product have reined supreme for sound quality, well until now. Apple pls take note and read all these problem forums because the new iOS 5 has ruined my music pleasure and a lot of other peoples too. It's a disgrace and needs immediate attention. Pls fix these issues before I have to seek ways of downgrading my firmware to one that works.

My purchase games are not working after ISO 8 update

I recently updated my iPad 3rd gen I'm thinking, anyways, it has the iOS 8 update. When I open my game app, it loads up for a second and closes right after. The game is up to date and PURCHASED. Along with many other games, so I am a bit mad. These games are relatively expensive and not for me, it's for my son, who is really upset because he thought I put him on time-out. I digress, anyways, how can this be resolved? My iPad is 16g does that matter? My games are backed onto my icloud. Thank you in advance!

try double tapping the home key and closing any app at the bottom that is in-memory. then reset by holding the top button and home button until you get the apple logo (when the slider switch option appears to turn off the phone, ignore it and don't let go of the two buttons).
after it resets try one of your games. this has cured all kinds of weirdness for me.

7th generation nano music skips around

The music is like a "preview" of each song and that's it. I have the shake to shuffle off. Any ideas?

IPhone 5 keeps resetting after ISO 7 update

After downloading the new ISO software my phone will reset itself or turn itself off randomly

So I just got back from the Apple Store. They ran some test on my phone and stated there was a "chip" error that was taking place. They said it might of happened when I downloaded IOS7, but could not say for sure. Now my phone was only a few months old so it fell under their warranty so they swapped out the phone with a new one. I would take your phone into Apple and exchange it out if your screen keeps freezing. Hope this helps anyone out there that might be having the same sort of issue. Almost forgot, I'm not sure what setting he went into on my phone but he pulled up the activity that showed my phone's log. If you can find this and see the word "panic" that means your chip is messed up and your phone is broke.

After iOS 7 update, music won't play via headphone or USB

iPhone 5, just upgraded to iOS 7
When playing music, it always plays via the phone's built-in speakers. I have tried it with multiple speakers and headphones via the 3.5mm jack and through USB connection in my car.
Any ideas?

Keynote crashes wont import powerpoint after ISO 5 update

Both my IPHONE 3GS and my IPAD have icloud and IOS 5 installed. All my documents syncs and all.
KeyNote's App was updated to the latest version
Keynotes CRASHES when I IMPORT any powerpoint.
I can open up my old powerpoints and create power points but Importing makes it
Crash everytime on both devices!
Any ideas?

My PAGES app imports just fine.

I found out its the animation and style that was added into the powerpoints which is not supported by Keynotes.
For those who have this problem. Go and change the theme or background to a solid/plain/remove the background theme all together and then it will open in Keynotes. Some theme backgrounds will cause the app to collapse.

The update of the iPhone 3Gs if awful. Updates should never break things that work. After updating my iPhone, WiFi and Bluetooth sensitivity are down. I cannot connect to the WiFi in my house at 12 ft. Bluetooth loses connectivity at just over 2 ft ( from my ear to my pocket), come on now, all this worked well before the update. App's are very jumpy, not nearly as smooth as before.
If this is Apple's way of forcing an update, I may not be an Apple customer anymore.

Some apps won't work after iphone 4s update to ISO 7.

Since i updated my 4s to ISO 7, my itunes store app will not open properly. The itunes festival app will not play any performance footage. Numerous other apps will also not open correctly or display content. Everything worked properly and without issues using the last ISO 6 update. Done the usual power off and reinstall of affected apps to no avail. These apps were all updated prior to or after ISO 7 install. Any one got the same problems or maybe any answers. Other devices in the household - iphone 4s, iphone 5, Ipad 3 and ipod touch 5th gen all converted with no issues and will open/use the same apps that i am struggling with. Other iphone 4s even mirrors my settings!!! I have the same issues on wifi as well as 3g. Help please.

A user called ibond solve my problem. I had to go to settings, safari, block cookies and change from always to third party. Another way that helped some users is to open your music app and select store from the top left of the screen. This gives access to itunes store and clears a glitch. Although this didn't work for me it did work for others.

After the last update of itunes I seem to have lost all my music (Cds that I had downloaded into itunes) except the once I had purchased from the itunes store. Can anyone help? Do you know what might have happened?

Hi - I seem to have a similar problem. I was prompted to update to iPhoto 11 yesterday (don't know why yesterday, I'm in iPhoto all the time). So I followed the instructions, library updated, all existing events and albums are there. I uploaded some more pictures and created a few new albums and did some new year spring cleaning, moving stuff around etc. And I started making a calendar.
I've opened it up today, my calendar is still there as are all the new events, but the pictures are empty outlines. If I open up a picture I just get the "!" but I can still see the thumbnails showing in the slider in the bottom - I don't know if that means the source files must still be there somewhere, or if it just means it captured thumbnails yesterday.
I've gone into it via "show package contents" and there just don't seem to be any masters for an upload yesterday. I also just had a look in the last import folder, because of a comment from someone above. As I scrolled down through the folder the images were there and literally disappeared in front of me - by which I mean, the thumbnails were there as I scrolled down and then would turn into empty outlines...!
All my old folders are still there, thankfully (although they're of course the ones that are also all safely back up).
Although I have a timecapsule, my photo library is too big to keep on my hard drive, so I keep it on an external drive - so it only gets backed up when I do it manually (thanks Apple for that, I will never understand why it was designed to work - or not work - that way). So if the pictures have been lost then they are gone for good which is super-frustrating (I just got back from South Korea and was in the middle of sorting out all my shots from that trip). It seems that this can only have happened because of the update - I should have known better than to have pressed yes.
If you have any ideas, I'd be most grateful!

Had the same issue with my Nissan Rogue 2011.
This listed below will fix it...
Go to General > Restrictions > CarPlay -- Make sure Carplay is DISABLED. (The new IOS 8 enables this on default)
Go to General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
The Nissan Rogue radio system was never designed to work with CarPlay. By default, CarPlay feature comes enabled when you install IOS 8. Suckz, right?

Unfortunately, iOS 7 is too hard to push for the iPhone 4 and therefore has a lot of effects turned off to try to get it to run as smoothly as possible.
However, it becomes better and better with each update coming but it's hard to do anything about the hardware on an already released phones.
If you still have trouble or think they are too hard. My tip is, if so, to restore your iPhone 4 and make a clean setup with no iCloud backup. But all your photos in a photostream so you can access it later.
