After last icloud backup, unrequested by me public holidays in the UK have been marked on the calendar and I can't find how to delete this. Also, I have been trying to delete a birthday from the same calendar for months and it keeps reappearing.

Also, I have been trying to delete a birthday from the calendar for months, this time using all variations of 'delete' and it keeps popping up again!
Are you also restoring from your backup? That sounds like what is happening or someone else has your Apple ID.
A backup to iCloud would have no way to add UK holidays to your calendar. Open Calendar, tap on Calendars at the bottom middle of the page and untick the ones you don't want.

My daughter has an iphone 5s and I have her old 3GS. She receives all my imessages that I rcv or send to other people. Can anyone advise how to stop this? we have removed the 3gs from her itunes account but it hasn't stopped the issue.
There are a lot of posts in the forums today with people having problems with iMessage. There was also a published outage yesterday, so it's possible there are still some issues that may be impacting you both.
I would just wait it out - I'm sure it will be sorted out soon. -

The InitCVIRTE function is in the CVI run time engine (cvirte.dll)..not part of NI-DAQ.
Applications written or using CVI may call this function..

This function performs initialization of the CVI Run-Time Engine. It is needed only in executables or DLLs that are linked using an external compiler. Otherwise, it is harmless.
It should be called in your main, WinMain, or DllMain, function. The parameter values you should pass depend on which of these three functions you are calling InitCVIRTE from. The following examples show how to use InitCVIRTE in each case.

What did you download it on ? If a computer's iTunes then do you have a 'rentals' tab in the Movies part of your library ? If on an iOS device then it should be in the Videos app (if it's not showing there then have you got a film age rating set in Restrictions that is hiding it ?).

If you're running iOS 6 and want to dowonload updates directly to your iPhone, you can open the App Store and click "Updates" in the lower right and install them from there.
If you're talking about iTunes 11 on your computer, then switch to the Apps button on the upper left and you can download them from there. -
Mozilla Home is in Spanish and I can't find how to change the language
I updated Mozilla, and noticed a toolbar that was new. I clicked around it and noticed that everything was in Spanish. I tried to find an option to change the Language, but I can't find one. How do I get it to change to English?
If the Firefox user interface (menu bar) is in the wrong language or if you want to change the current language then you can get Firefox in the language of your choice here:

If the two files do not have the same dimension you can adjust them via the Movie Properties window.
When you add two files that don't have the same dimensions the default position for the added file is 0,0 (upper left corner).
Open the Movie Properties window, single click on the video track you wish to adjust and then click the Visual Settings tab.
You can then adjust the dimensions (to fit the other track) or the "offset" values to position it (inside or outside of the dimensions of the other track). -

I was talking about how much I liked the Mozilla search with friends and when I looked at my home page the search engine had changed to Google. Also, when looking at all the instructions that referred to the Firefox box, I did not see it and I do not ever remember seeing the Firefox box at the top of the page.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).

I just rented a movie on Apple Tv--started to watch it on the TV then wanted to continue on my computer (MacAir) but couldn't find a way to do this. Home sharing is enabled. I pulled up the movie in the Itunes store and clicked on 'rent' but I don't want to have to pay the rental fee again.
Rented movies downloaded to an Apple TV can't be transferred to any other device.

I hate the new KitKat upgrade. I hate the messaging white background. I hate the loss of the green blinking light in the left upper corner. I do not know why music plays whenever I get an email. I get hundreds of emails to my device and it plays music and is driving me crazy. How do I disable this? I went through all my settings and cannot find where this may be set. It's a bust if you ask me for the Android system. Booooo

What type of music are you referring to? What type of emails are these? Are there attachments in them?
